I drove all the way over here to sell back my TCC textbooks, but it was closed during its advertised business hours. I called the VB and Norfolk’s office numbers, but both calls went to voicemail. I sold back my textbooks here in the past, but received less than what I expected.

The prices for textbooks are better than Barnes and Noble. But if you want to trade them in, do not go here. Barnes and Noble will offer more for your books than Textbook Brokers. I was offered 5 dollars for a book that I went and traded in to B&N and got 20.

The only place to get textbooks if you are a student at TCC. They saved me over $ 100 and I didn’t have to wait in that awful line over at TCC. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I can’t wait until the end of the semester so I can sell them my books and get $$$. You guys are awesome.

Do not purchase from here! I purchased two textbooks from the store for the fall semester. The textbooks were for Bio 101 lecture and lab at TCC Portsmouth. The lecture book sold to me was the correct one but when I went to do my lab hwk on Sun, 09 Sep, I realized that the Bio 101 lab book sold to me (General Laboratory Manual; ENCOUNTERS W/LIFE 7^th ed) was not the correct one. Because the store was not open on the weekend and I had to complete my assignment which was due on Mon, 10 Sep; I went to purchase the correct book at McArthur Mall. On Tuesday, 11 Sep I took the book back in brand new condition for a refund but was denied. Their prices are way more expensive than other stores in the area.
