The Lounge Bar

Definitely in decline. Was a nice weekend spot now… hmm they’ve relaxed their standard… all about the $$. Sad.

I was not impressed… the drink prices were ridiculous and the crowd of people that hang here are wanna be rich folk that stand in line for hand outs. Don’t be fooled by any mid to high end cars in the lot… they must belong to the owner because there are absolutely no classy people that patronize this «lounge.» If you’re hood rich and you’re range rover is in your mom’s name… this is absolutely your place!

I just came home from this place. Was there to celebrate a friend’s birthday. We chose this place because we saw great reviews, sadly this is not a place that people made it out to be.
The food was horrible and overly priced! We had ordered many of the appetizers. The sliders we ordered was just a piece of beef, with minimum cheese in between a bun. No lettuce, no tomato, no onion, no mustard, no ketchup. Worst sliders ever. The mozzarella sticks were cold. The fried shrimp tasted horrible. Drinks were OVERPRICED. Our waitress who tells us she just recently started kept messing up our orders and definitely messed up our drink orders. If I didn’t notice it on the bill she would have gotten away with us spending more money than we needed to. Ordered cranberry and vodka, how can someone mess that drink up?
Also what restaurant does not have a drink menu? The website says they are a restaurant prior to turning into a club. I’ve been to lounges and they are able to afford getting drink menus. The bar tender definitely overcharged the drinks. The only reason I didn’t make too much of a big deal is because it was my friend’s birthday and I wanted her to have fun.
The music was alright. More slow beats than anything. Need more upbeat music.
Overall, I do not recommend this place. It’s not a «lounge» it’s more of a place who tries to overcharge their customers thinking their customers won’t know better, a place who does not know how to make or get orders, a place that does not know how to make a simple drink such as cranberry and vodka.
Will definitely not be coming back. Disappointed.

Fun place. Great hip hop music to dance to. Bar was expensive but drinks were strong. I was visiting from Ohio and this place had some awesome reviews and I was not disappointed. I went on a Thursday night with my boo.

This place is not extremely large. It’s not the typical lounge size I’m use to, but it turned out to be a nice place to go to have drinks and get some dancing in. The staff was friendly. The DJ played good music. A very nice chill environment definitely not an upscale environment, so you don’t have to come in your suits and ties. But it’s a very nice spot for what its worth. If you’re looking for something chill, then this is the place to be.

Stopped in early saturday night with a buddy, had a beer and the bar tender threw us a free app. It was really good. Would go back for sure. $ 4 for bottle of beer is a little steep though if you ask me.

This place is AWESOME!!! A group of 6 f us arrived without making reservation… they help us with 2 tables and 6chairs… services was excellent! I LOVE THIS PLACE

This is the place you want to be at. The staff is friendly. The crowd is relaxed, but primed to have a good time.
It pops off around 11. But stop by before to get something to eat. The food is truly amazing.

Very pleaseant, clean, no drama have a nice time atmosphere… Friday nights with DJ Emanon and Host @BossBags_ is when you should be in there.

I did not have any of the Tapas available to order. But one guy did let me have a taste of his grilled pineapple. I would happily order just grilled pineapple. But I wish it was served a spears or kabob style. It was a large circular slice, the pineapple circumference. So you have to cut around the core and the rind and dig out the good stuff. Please make it easy. Foxy ladies in sexy dresses digging in a pineapple. LOL.
This venue is great for events. It is classy, with a wide open floor plan. It has varied seating options all around, low cushioned seats around the walls, white leather couches in the VIP area, booth seating near the restroom, and seating at high round tables at the Lounge center. There are two bars on adjacent sides of the venue.
Large screen with projector to show videos, movies etc. There are also televisions. They played cool music, some current, some that felt like vintage hits to my young ears.
The Lounge Bar is the place where a grown-​up can be a grown-​up.

I went to the Lounge once back in Jan or Feb of 2013 before they remodeled, and recently went back again with a few friends to see the changes. We went on Saturday night around 11:30pm and stayed til 1 something. It definitely has a much nicer atmosphere now, it looks and feels classier. It’s also twice the size and has an extra bar now. I will say the drinks were on point and fairly priced (my Amaretto Sour was $ 5) which is a huge plus. And there is no cover, another plus. However, it seemed like there were too many VIP tables and not enough regular tables. Two people in our party had to stand due to lack of seating. And there wasn’t enough of a crowd on the dance floor to get me out there. I may have gone on an off night — there was a b-​day party and that might be why there were hardly any non-​VIP tables. I will come back to try out some tapas, or to hang out and drink with a couple friends (and maybe look into the cost of VIP seating)…but I wouldn’t come here if I had my heart set on dancing.

I loved it here the atmosphere is nice, the drinks were good and at a good price and last but not least the food was AMAZINGGG

I did not check out the restroom… but if it’s a reflection on the interior of the venue it should be safe to use.
I joined friends here after receiving an invite to come celebrate life! I love to have a good time and this place here… i had a grannnnnnnnnnnd time!
My waitress, Quinn… she was on point. Even after I ordered my meal, she checked on me throughout the night to make sure my girl and I was straight… YOU GO GIRL :)
Another waitress (selling shooters) Kristina… oh she was on her hustle!!! I dont know if she had a quota to meet… but she was selling them shooters left and right. I think I even spotted her following a few patrons. Nevertheless, she got the job done… several times!!! I even pulled her aside to let her know she was definitely ON ONE!!! She’s a cutie too :)
The security… Jeff…he made sure my friend and I were comfy and chilled. And by chilled he brought over some fine white wine for the ladies :) YOU GO BIG BOY!!!
Aside from the girl on girl dancing in the middle of the floor throughout the night… this place is super awesome! The lighting, the DJ, the free admission… a good time is just waiting to happen every Friday night.
The dress code was relaxed as well. So relaxed that I thought some people just came from the playground… hmmmmmm…but everyone were in good spirits.
I will definitely return REAL SOON… they have some themed parties coming up.
The food…
I had the steak and chicken skewers. They were served on a grilled pineapple. The presentation was awesome… I believe I included pics. Now unless they were supposed to be served cold… they both were chilled (COLD). It wasn’t so bad that we couldn’t eat them… but when I think of steak and chicken… ummmmm I’ll take it hot please for $ 200 alex! Nevertheless, my girl and I ate it all… very good flavor!!!
I’m definitely looking forward to trying more menu options.
They also offer happy hour… I believe 7 days a week.
There is VIP seating and few table tops with chairs as well. Get there early as I assume it starts to fill by 1130…12a. They close at 2a. And there is plenty of parking. The venue is located in a shopping center. I might add the venue itself is just the right size. Not too big and definitely not a match box. They have 2 exits… so in my booking they are winning! Safety first :)

It’s for the crowd that enjoys R&B, rap and soul music… Friday night that is. I believe Thursday nights are set aside as ladies night and top 40 is played.

I went here not expecting much. I knew they had an EDM DJ coming and it is said to be good. My girlfriend and I went fairly early and looked around and was quite impressed with what we saw. 2 bars, VIP couches, DJ table raised in the corner and a stage for dancers. Also by the main bar is a good size dance floor. The down side of the night was there was no people to dance on the floor! The place was dead and even a buzz didn’t make it that fun. Just needs better drink deals and people to drink em. Will try again another time.

Cool spot in an area where I wouldn’t typically find myself hanging… anywhere on Holland Rd. Just as the name states it’s a lounge. They have lots of seating so you can feel like you’re in a music video as you chill with your friends.
I visited last Friday night for a business networking function and was quite surprised and pleased with my experience.
After 10/​11pm this place is a hoppin’ night club. I didn’t go back to throw down that night but a friend of mine showed me pictures of what hotness happens inside the place.
I normally find a place like this to be stellar in either drinks, the nightlife or the food. It appears they excel in all three. They have a pretty kick ass bar area (I believe two of them). The bartender was pretty cool to talk to and I saw him whipping up some drinks for people in my group. We ordered off of their tapas menu and the food was excellent. I tried their crab cakes and scallops items for dinner. Either dish is enough for a meal but I will mention that the scallops are a generous portion… and quite delicious.
Definitely looking forward to going back for happy hour AND for a little partying.
