Came here for lunch with a few friends. Loved the atmosphere and food. Great service too! Will be back for sure!

We found Yoder’s on Unilocal yesterday while looking for somewhere to grab lunch near where we were running errands. We ordered the turkey cranberry panini and the veggie panini and added chicken. Both were delicious and the staff was super nice. We will be back!

To be clear, this review is only for the café, not the surrounding Amish-topia of bakeries and little shops, because I only visited the café. We were in a bit of a rush. I really wish that a lot of places followed the Yoder’s model. The café was very clean and simply decorated. The menu kept things short and sweet, and the four meals ordered by my group were all excellent. What I mean is that Yoder’s knows what they do well and they do it right; they don’t over-complicate things just because they think they should have more offerings. I had an excellent, simple ham/pineapple/swiss sandwich on sourdough. I paired it with a side of mac ‘n’ cheese. I really wish I lived closer because it was fresh, tasty lunch that left me satisfied but not sluggish. The service was also very friendly from every staff member I came in contact with.

Cute little place! Fresh ingredients. Limited menue but I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It’s walking distance from my house so I’m sure we will go fairly frequently now. I really enjoyed looking at the bake shoppe and wonderful quality furniture store. Both are attached to the café. Ended up talking home a fresh peach pie!

I brought my kids and a friend here to grab lunch before enjoying the carnival and market. There was not a lot of room to sit. We ordered then had to wait a bit for a table. I ordered the chicken salad and tea. My kids ordered Panini’s and mac-n-cheese. All of the food was fresh and delicious. After eating lunch we used the bathrooms in the hallway, which were very clean. We then looked around their bake shop. It smelled amazing in there!!! We also looked around at their handmade furniture. If I was rich, I would fill my home with their furniture! I enjoyed our lunch and will return.

In the Sentara Princess Anne Health Campus area? Grab a quick bite to eat at Yoder’s – a small amish restaurant next to the Farmer’s Market. We had two of their paninis which were very good, but everything on the chalkboard menu looks sounds great! Afterwards, do a little window shopping for the home and then head over to the bakery. The sweet aroma in there will have you wanting it all… cinnamon rolls, pies, etc.

This is the spot you’ve been looking for if you don’t want to wait in the line at Panera Bread. I had the panini with fresh cut Apple. I really enjoyed that they cut the apple for me. It’s the small things that matter. They came to my table to see that I enjoyed the meal and asked to get anything extra I needed. I will return to this little gem and make sure I bring a friend next time to enjoy the patio. This place gets 6 stars for cleanliness. They have it perfect here.

This place is really homey and comfortable. I was really impressed with the food and environment. Sandwiches and salads for the most part. I had the grilled Italian wrap with a cup of chicken gnoci soup and it was great. It’s close to the TCC campus and they give students a free drink with your food.

Popped in for lunch, which was a good idea because they’re only open 10 – 3. No worries. Order and pay at the counter, they bring your order to the table. Or maybe they take your order at the table. Either way, a small, friendly place and I was in a really good mood. I opted for the turkey and cranberry pannini. A few minutes later, a young girl(shouldn’t you be in school?) brought me a tasty pressed sandwich. Lots of turkey, a good bit of cranberry, really yummy and quite warm. I’d have this again, or really any of their sandwiches. Good sandwich, local business, nicely priced. Do it!

Finally, the moment of truth!!! I’ve been wanting to try this place for so long but it happen that they were always closed. I usually come to Farmer’s Market every week to get fresh vegetables and fruits. Today, I come early and just happened that I saw a friend and we decided to get something to eat. I actually thought that this place has lot of potential. It’s clean and very homey. I ordered the roasted Italian wrap and it was fresh and delicious. The flavor was very complex and the cheese melts into your mouth. Yes, I would love to come back here. The patio is definitely a good spot.

A great little family business. If you’ve been in the Tidewater area awhile, you’ll know the Yoder name. They used to own a dairy that delivered milk. That dairy is long since gone but the family still has a quality business. It’s now in furniture, food, and dessert. The café is a great place to get a bite while at the market. I had the chicken Caprese panini. It was delicious. The bread was soft and the Caprese was perfect for a panini. The chicken breast was nicely seasoned and was a great addition to the sandwich. My friend had the roasted Italian wrap. It was another terrific salad. The menu here is basic and it is well executed. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The owner is also the cook. She came out to say hello and we had a great discussion on the food. I will definitely be back for more.

This little café is a bit hidden, inside an indoor antiques and Amish product strip mall within the VA Beach Farmer’s Market complex — take the first right after turning left in off of Dam Neck into the complex. Only lunch is served(no dinner), but it is solid. Paninis, salads, and sides. Everything tastes homemade. We had the potato salad(an Amish sweet yellow egg-heavy type) and mac/cheese as sides — both very good. Pesto wrap and club panini also great. Overall, highly recommended — and a much better lunch than you’ll get at most places in across-the-street Landstown Commons.

Great little lunch spot. Kid friendly, and parent friendly:) When the Market is on it is a great little place for a bite. Close to it all, but far enough away to relax a little. Plenty to see and smell. The staff was super friendly and very patient with us. The BBQ Ranch Salad is delicious! The kids hotdog is great and if you make it a combo it comes with an apple(or chips) and a drink. The Turkey Cranberry Panini was so good that by the time I got the kid started, husband had finished his sandwich. Highly recommended!

let me tell you about this gem!!! after living in the area over a year and frequenting the farmer’s market, i finally stopped by the little store attached. it is amazing. be sure to check it out after you have lunch :) took my gma to lunch here, we spent $ 22 for two pick 2 lunches, side potato salad, slice of carrot cake and 1 coffee. my lunch: ½ turkey cranberry panini: lots of meat but not too much. it tasted very fresh! the cranberry sauce added just enough sweetness to the turkey. so yummy! ½ bbq ranch salad: again, fresh and yummy! gma lunch: ½ veggie wrap & ½ strawberry feta salad: she enjoyed it all! we really enjoyed everything we had. the quality and freshness cannot be beat! the young ladies that work in the café are so nice and attentive. they also have kids menu and soup of the day. can’t wait to come back :)
