Great seafood selection. Being from Hawaii, they have a nice selection of fish from the Island. The owner says he orders directly from the auction there so he can order whatever you want. Plus they are stocked with everything you need for a cook out.

Stopped by here for the first time today to pick up a couple of steaks for dinner. It was pretty busy(Saturday afternoon) I quickly figured out how to get a number and checked out the selection while waiting. Wow, they have a lot to choose from, I was impressed. I ended up leaving with two thick cut New York steaks and a loaf of garlic bread. My Grilling Master grilled these to perfection and topped them with a pat of butter and blue cheese crumbles. Best steak we have had in a while. It was 29 $ for both and I consider that a great price considering how large they were(12.99 $lb) I will definitely be back to try the many varieties of stuffed chicken breasts, pork chops & the varieties of marinated tri tip.

There is nothing exciting or breathe taking about this place. The bbq is okay at best.

Don’t be fulled by its location! BL is TOP quality! I have coming here since they open 3 – 4 years ago. BL is located right off the Demare exit on CA-198. I’m not sure if this place is family owned, but everytime I come in I get that feeling. They offer terrific lunches on their patio featuring a variety of their in-house smoked meats… YUM! Visalia does not have a lot of traditional butcher shops. One other includes Glick’s & Co. Glicks, back in the day was a premier local business, but after a slew of grandchildren kicking a dead horse Glick’s now maintains a retupation of bland & tough mediocre Harris Ranch«ALL-NATURAL» meats. Eck! BL also has a decent selection of beers topping off its groceries inside! A must visit place!

I only buy ground chuck from here so I can’t really say much about the meat selection, the ground chuck is great and that’s why I keep coming back. So I recently became a fan of Rosa Brothers milk which BL sells. Upon dropping off my empty milk container(9÷30÷153:15 pm) I had no clue what to do so I ask the cashier, who told me to just leave the bottle up front which I did. So when I complete my purchase and ask for no plastic bag the cashier slams my glass bottles together without even a sorry. Like seriously you almost break my bottles and you just brush it off like it’s nothing. This little girl is the rudest. Always horrible customer service from this cashier. She must really love her job because anytime I have to deal with her she is a snob. The guys who work behind the counter have always been decent and do their job like they care. Which I like and appreciate. Having to deal with this cashier is the only reason I gave this place 3 stars. Other than that the place is awesome. Oh and their garlic bread is amazing.

Absolutely terrific. You won’t find better quality or a more authentic«neighborhood butcher» experience. Employees are knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a family run feel. The best part of Quality Meats is that you get a local feel, but also a big selection. come to stock your freezer, but also bring an appetite. Their prepared food is also awesome.

Great selection of meat. I enjoy their selection of marinated chicken, stuffed chicken, and stuffed pork. They also carry lots of fresh fish and various beef selections. Friendly, helpful staff. I also enjoy picking out a selection of good craft beer. Bread selection is good, but needs to be eaten right away. Specialty food items, pasta sauces, spice mixes, etc are good. I could probably just shop here for dinner but usually end up going to the Save Mart for a bigger selection of vegetables. They carry Rosa Bros milk and ice cream as well as other frozen products and fresh items.

Had our plans set & hopes up for the 4th of July. Called to ask for some meat & were told we didn’t need to pre order because it wasn’t a lot. Then called at 5pm to double check the closing time & were told 7pm. We showed up at 6pm… CLOSED! Thanks for ruining our plans. Ended up getting really great meat from Winco that we were thankfully able to cook in time for our gathering.

Everything I’ve ever ordered here has been top notch! For my Super Bowl parties I like to order their pre-cooked, pre-sliced tri tips. So yummy and flavorful! Makes it easy to throw sandwiches together for a large group.

This place is AWESOME! I’ve been eyeing this place for so long and finally came here! Got 3 ribeye steaks and one chuck roast? I think that’s what it was called! But they were all helpful! This place has everything, meat, poultry, seafood, marinated meats, and dry foods, seasonings, wine, bread anything to pair of any occasion! Also they have«meat packs» that you can buy and to me they’re a very good price and amount of meats you get! Definately will come back here! I wish they had a branch in San Diego!

The hubby and I picked up tip sandwiches for our picnic today… It was a ton of food and I was so full after 1⁄3 of my sandwich. Wasn’t loving the soggy bread or the«ranch beans» but their potato salad, tri tip, and BBQ sauce was super yummy! We will defiantly go back!

Not a fan of their food, but the meat they sell there is awesome, havent found a place that sells better tasting meat than here. Rib eye, top sirloin, bacon wrapped fillet, everything is good

The Butcher shop side is pretty good. Lots of options for pre — marinade meats. The ground beef is about the same price as Costco and is actually better. The cooked food that you get from the window outside is not very good. The tri tip sandwiches taste like pot roast. I have tried the cooked food side a few times and always been disappointed. Same experiences as my friends and family. So to sum it up, they can run a pretty decent Butcher shop but can’t cook to save their lives.

This shop made my recent business trip to the Gem of the Central Valley halfway worth it. Incredible showcase of all sorts of beef and dry aged beef. Seafood selection to boot. What caught my attention was the gi-normus Southern Pride smoker out beside this market. Seriously. This cooker is as big as a garage. This is where the window to order BBQ is. While the selection is pretty limited, I marveled at the portion I got. A whole bird and a pint of ranch style beans with some soft pretzel rolls from inside. For around 10 bucks? WInning. Although my chicken was a tad bit dry, it had a very pleasant smokey seasoned flavor, not overwhelming. And I swear these folks stole my ranch bean recipe. My only regret is that I was not staying at a hotel with a gas grill by the pool. I woulda spent my whole days per dieum on a dry aged steak. Nice selection of beer and wine inside. Love this place. If I gotta come back to Visalia I am blowing my expenses here!

I have had there precooked ribs from the order window outside and they were good. My daughter bought me some of there jerky to try, and i’m hooked on it now. The store is clean and the meat counter was in order, friendly service.

Old fashioned meat market with hand cut steaks. They also have a fish section. All their beef comes from Harris Ranch. They also have ready to grill items that are already marinated or have dry rub. Steaks, chops, chicken, carne asada, fajitas, tri-tip, etc.
