I don’t know what’s up with all these bad reviews. This is the best Chinese food in Visalia. It has lots of flavor/spice(not bland like Tea Garden) and not greasy like every other Chinese place. Great street and sour pork and broccoli beef. Try the China garden rice. It has everything in it.

Disgusting. Sitting outside and 2 of the workers come out from INSIDE the kitchen smoking cigarettes! Definitely won’t eat here again. If they are smoking in the kitchen they obviously don’t care if it’s around your food. Gross.

This place was okay but nothing spectacular. Food was really greasy. I had the Kung pao chicken and Thai tea and wasn’t too impressed with the flavor just the portions. The waitress only came by 3 times and one of those times was to give us the bill. I came home to a very upset stomach and needless to say I won’t be coming back.

My favorite Chinese place in the valley. Been going for 10 years now. Very quiet n peaceful place to sit and have a good meal.

My bad ya’ll! The owners set up shop at another place 2 or 3 years ago. Damn Tyrod needs to step up his game! They at Zen Asian Diner now… By my favorite department store Kmart.

I’ve gone here a few times and this last time, the tasted old. I told the waitress and they were so rude. I had no idea they can treat people so poorly. I will NEVER go here again.

Great food and service. Staff is very pleasant. Portions are generous. Also, regarding the review by Marcus J. — I think it’s dishonest considering that China Garden is also closed on Mondays, the day he said he went.

I will NEVER go to this place again!!! The only reason I came was because my favorite Chinese food place(New China) was closed and I was really craving some Chinese food. The place looks really sketchy from the outside, but as they say don’t judge a book by its cover. Boy was I wrong for following that saying. Service was not good at all. The people in the kitchen were shouting and being loud. Now I’m all for having fun at the work place, but when the lady came out from the kitchen yelling«turn down for what» that’s when it got out of hand. The service wasn’t even the worst part of our first experience there… When we got the food I started eat, but my wife found a big hair in her food. I lost my appetite after that. This place is dirty and disgusting. Do NOT go here!

Would never go there again. Lettuce in the fried rice. So Americanized, the soup had peas and green beans in it. The Beijing Beef wasn’t good and the fried shrimp was dripping with grease. I don’t recommend anything.

Best Chinese in town. Generous portions and a very affordable price. Wonderful and friendly staff. The food is excellent and cooked to perfection. They will actually switch some menu sides up and ALLOW substitutions. When that happened I knew I was hooked!

Horrible. Talked to owner who was beyond rude! It cost me 30.00 or close to it for my meal alone. Expensive but didn’t have all that grey water until this last time. I didn’t get to call immediately because my mom who is dying from cancer had to be rushed to hosp. When I did call I truly expected a understanding person since I was spending a fortune there and this was my first complaint. Instead I got Satan who could care less that after a few bites I literally had to run out the door for hosp. I had already showed my husband the leaky gray drowned food. But owner said I should have taken the time to call him. Unreal. His pride will bury his restaurant. What a shame.

THEPORTIONSAREOUTOFCONTROL! I brought my nephew here for lunch. We ordered a lunch special each which consisted of a side and an entrée. Holy moly were we surprised when the waitress came back with our food. This could have fed a family of 5! Even after we were full it seemed like we hadn’t touched anything on our plates. Great deal for 8.50…but make sure you share! The customer service was awful. After we got out food, the waitress didn’t check up on us once. We needed plates, a bag, a soda refill… but they didn’t bother. Over all experience was good the food was great especially the Kung Pao Chicken!

Pretty good! Took my husband here and he’s not a big fan of anything other than burgers and he liked it too! The fried wontons with the sweet and sour sauce are yummy! We got the combos and it had lots of food for a good price!

My favorite is seafood combination lunch special for $ 9.00. The sauce is excellent. The portion is a lot that I take home more than half of the servings for dinner. They also serve free oolong tea which is also my favorite. Service is also great from friendly waitresses.

Delicious, good quality food! It seems like a mom and pop place and they are very friendly. Easy to find, but there is delivery available as well. I can vouch for the moo shu chicken, wontons and veggie fried rice. Yum :)

This was our first time ordering from China Garden. We placed an order for delivery and were told the delivery time would be within an hour, which is what we expected. It arrived in about 30 – 40 minutes and was piping hot! The food was delicious and the portions were large. We will definitely be ordering from here again or stopping by to eat in when we are in the area. They also included a takeout menu which was a nice touch because we didn’t have one.

My favorite Cantonese restaurant! I’ve been coming here since I was a child and will continue on. Everything is delicious, perfect for groups or on your own. They start you off with a complimentary egg flower soup. I’m a regular, the staff is friendly and polite, well trained they know all the ingredients from a dish on the menu; I’m surprised more people don’t know about this place! Love how they have the red chili paste and not watered down or anything. Recommend this place to everyone! Perfect for vegetarians, egg foo young is a favorite.

I wanted take out and decided to grab Chinese food. The place was kinda hidden, but not bad. I was greeted when I came in. Upon ordering I was quickly given a choice of a lunch special that I could still get even though it was 6 pm. It was cheaper with more food. The wait wasn’t too long too get the food. I had honey walnut shrimp and it was good. A lot of food and I couldn’t finish it. I also had the coconut fritter. It was okay. Different, I’m not into fried food. Looking forward to eating in.
