We were looking for a place to grab something to eat and have a drink on one of our adventure days and this place was perfect. Bartenders are awesome, food was great and prices were perfect.

By far the best part about Froggie’s is the food! Paulie does an outstanding job. I’ve tried many of his «specials» and none have disappointed. When people on Unilocal knock the food, I just have a hard time believing it, but oh well. I came here every Sunday this football season and ALWAYS had a positive experience. I can’t speak for the late night crowd, but the Sunday afternoon crowd is always friendly and family-​oriented and definitely spirited fans of football!
The owner, John, is always there and is so friendly. Froggie’s is not a fancy place by any means but it feels comfortable and the «regulars» make it feel like home!

Positives– The bartenders work hard, crack jokes, and are laid back
Great diverse crowd. They all had their teeth and everyone’s chill!
They had good draft beers. Even had Apple beer, which I’ve gotten into.
Has a smoking area on the side if u like that kinda thing
Negatives– Needs to be bigger with more pool tables
Does not have mixed drinks or enough bartenders
Pool tables are always taken on the weekends

Chill pool hall/​bar. Checked it out while traveling recently and ended up returning several nights in a row. Pool and beer reasonably priced. Friendly crowd of varying ages. Digital jukebox with wide variety of music to suit every taste. Tables could use some TLC but for the price, can’t complain. Looking forward to returning when in the area again. Great time at Froggies.

Absolutely love love this place! Of course Ive only come here when its not super busy. The bartenders are super friendly and super fast! They have plenty of pool tables, and various places to sit. The alcohol is not expensive at all… I only spent 30 bucks on 4 pitchers of beer! (You have to try the blue moon with orange juice!!) Sooo delicious! I like the fact that they also have a seating area right outside for smokers and its gated all around. The bathrooms were clean. The jukebox was super cheap.12 songs or credits for 5 bucks! The customers are friendly, and best of all they leave u alone! Cant wait to come back and chill!

Situated in a large strip mall plaza that has seen better times there, Froggies continue to croak along holding steady.
It’s your basic bar and pool hall that happens to serve some cold & hot sandwiches. There is an enclosed semi-​outdoor smokers alley for the die hard smokesters or for the loud crowd.
What this place won’t be mistaken for is a massage parlour that dots all along the major thoroughfare of Visalia.
If you want a change of scenery from the divey Pump Room this would be a considerable step up… as for the women, your mileage will vary greatly

Some friends and I wanted to play pool and drink, we went in and walked up to the bar, one guy was working never noticed us. we tried to get his attention but he was too busy I guess we waited for 10 minutes and after trying to get a drink we left.

Very shady owners. Pretty rude and unfriendly when i walked to the bar to order a drink. In regards to playing pool, its actually possible to get kicked off the table you’re playing at by someone else due to the bartenders rules. Not the greatest way to do business.

The clientele can be a little shady at times at this place. More often than not actually. One of two places to play pool in visalia and this place has a lot more beers on tap than the other which is the Green Olive so lets play pool!

I’ve been coming here since I turned 21! Always a great place to come to. The food is really good, shout out to Pauly the chef. Really wish they would regulate the pool tables though. there have been times when I sat and waiting for a table the whole night. Maybe charge by the hour and when it gets back limit the time to 1 hr per party so others can have a chance.

If you’re underage and have a fake I.D. this is the spot to be! I went on Wednesday to have a few drinks with friends and play pool, and was surprised when the female bartender denied my just expired California License. My friend was able to drink with her fake out of state I.D., and I remained thirsty and was watched the whole time I played pool. Very shady day I must say, or maybe the bartender needs to get that stick outta her ass. Just saying. Glad I kept my money in my pocket.

First time to go here… had a blast listening to the Karaōke.
Bummer that they shut it down at 1 am. I was suprised.
The selection of drinks on tap is super duper nice… very extensive and very diverse. Definitely appreciate that! Also, very very cold!
The bartender was friendly and quick, when we could get his attention. Seemed like we were invisible, which was fairly ridiculous cause there was 7 of us grouped up on the south end of the bar.
Wish they hadn’t shut the karaōke off so soon… we were having so much fun. Would most definitely come back.

Froggies is a very chill beer and wine bar with a slightly older more diverse clientele than you’ll find downtown. I enjoy coming here with my friends for a beer and conversation. There are about 6 pool tables and beer pong for your entertainment! It’s behind the Long John Silver’s, so it is easy to miss.
