Their Chinese food is better than what most restaurants in town offer. Plus you can grocery shop while picking up dinner!

No one seems to mention all the expired food they sell to us. Everytime I go in I need to check the expiration date. Everything there is either expired or about to be expired. It’s unhealthy. The only great thing is how close they are. It is convenient, just not a place I would go full grocery shopping. I do enjoy their chinese/japanese selection though.

This place like a little bit of home! I’m glad they have some asian/filipino items and even mexican! Lived here for a yr and was devasted that I couldn’t find a seafood city and this place was close enough but not really! Cheap groceries and price $, bakery, not that much meat and seafood selection they’re the only ones pricey but again they’re meat, variety of veggies and an indoor mini chinese restaraunt! I buy my match powder here to bake my french macs and madeines!

My favorite Market! The specialty area with oriental foods is awesome Meat department is the best, they will cut your meat to meet your needs, very clean and friendly. Produce department is well stocked with fresh veggies and fruit… the best part is the friendly staff, they are willing to go out of their way to help you with finding a product. Checking out is a pleasure, the staff is well trained and very friendly and personable… i might be a bit bias cause I’ve been coming here for years! keep doing what your doing! Thank you!

What can I say, growing up R-N Market Chinese food was pretty much the only food we had when«eating out»(even tho we ate it at home). So it has some nostalgia for me(and seriously, damn, those egg rolls are nice). I couldn’t do my regular grocery shopping here as there are zero organic choices, but I do pick up Asian cooking supplies and treats from time to time. R-N is this strange amalgamation of Asian and Mexican grocery, all in one spot. If you eat conventionally grown/raised produce and meat, it seems pretty cheap. I guess that’s all I have to say. PS be careful in the parking lot; there seems to be a lot of elderly crackers just waiting for the chance to run you down. Don’t laugh-it’s happened to me more than once!

I was looking for an asian food market and one of my co-workers mentioned this place. It’s really unsuspecting, but had everything I needed. It doesn’t actually specialize in asian products, but they do have a couple of dedicated aisles. They also have a grab and go style restaurant with asian faire. I was tempted, but got my groceries and headed home to cook.

Having just moved to Visalia from San Diego. I was desperately looking for a place to buy Asian ingredients, because(surprise!) there’s a shortage of variety at the nearby SaveMart. Luckily, my landlord’s wife told me about RN Market. It’s no 99 Ranch or Seafood City, but it has 3 aisles that had enough of the things I needed to feel more at home. They even had frozen chicken tocino, longanisa, and ube ice cream if I ever have a hankering for Filipino food. The prices aren’t bad either. Yay for Asian groceries in Visalia!

I used to work here and still come to this place every time I get the chance when I come into town. The price is good and it’s easy to get around in the store. Once the lines start to pile up and get crowded, they call for extra cashier to come up. I love their hot deli and their bakery section is awesome. I always come here and order the cakes for my girls birthday.

Good prices, good products. You don’t have to bag your own groceries. Someone will help you out to your car if you like. They have a lot of items you can’t find anywhere else.

Some of the best worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. I used to go here all the time growing up because it was half a block from my house. You could get around three pounds of food and a bottle of coke for under five dollars. It was pretty amazing. My favorite was always the neon colored sweet and sour pork. soooo good. I don’t know that i would ever eat there now(im trying to be more healthy) but im sure the food is still amazing.
