Most of the employees are rude, cocky and have a bad attitude with me! No smiles, no «hellos», just a blank stare from these employees! 2% of the employees are O.K. Horatio is the only employee I can easily speak to because he’s always friendly, modest, and never has one bad thing to say to me. Horatio always double bags my groceries without argument or having a conniption fit like most of the employees do and he will always«kindly» escort my cart of groceries off to my truck automatically… that’s called«friendly service» folks!. Why they don’t make Horatio manager is way beyond me… he’d make a great PR guy. And I spoke to several managers here and they all are very rude and cocky! They should learn something from Horatio in my opinion! When I walk in this store I feel like I’m being THREATENED all the time! Some people(like me) still like old-fashioned customer service, but that’s gone down by the wayside unfortunately… that includes other businesses! If you employees don’t like your job… then QUIT! Don’t take it out on us customers!!! Don’t like my opinion… TOUGH!

Ordered two cakes this past weekend from their bakery for a family reunion. One chocolate and fudge, the other tres leches. Within minutes both cakes were gone. Compliments to the baker who made both. They were excellent. Tres Leches was super moist and well made. Will definitely order cakes form this location again

I go to Save Mart if I want something like a snack or something cheap but it’s cool you can do a Money gram: Money Order very convienent. As for grocery shopping It doesn’t seem like you save, they’re pretty pricy! When I first moved here and realized it’s like a Ralphs/Vons in Visalia. Good customer service though, cashiers are nice! Parking lot is big so many stores and restaraunts and business surround it!

This store consistently displays superior characteristics to most other grocery stores in the area. The employees are friendly and helpful. The store is well organized and clean. The produce is always fresh. There are higher quality ingredients compared to other stores. More niche items. Decent meat section. That is my only wish is they would get a meat counter like Whole Foods. Though you will pay a little more for your groceries it is worth it to avoid places like Wal-Mart.

Our one stop shopping for produce on our way to my family’s cabin in Sequoia. The staff is always very friendly and the prices are always very reasonable. The only thing that is odd is the restroom. It’s way off in the back of the store in what feels like should be an employee only area. It just feels odd going back there.

This Save Mart is a whole lot fancier than the ones I am familiar with in Bakersfield. There is a great selection of products, the store is really clean, and the aisles are nice and wide. The prices were very reasonable and many things were on sale. The things that really stood out for me were the deli and produce departments. Everything was very nicely displayed. The produce looked like it was in large wooden crates and everything was so bright and colorful, very healthy looking, and nothing was at all overripe or blemished. I was here to pick up a few supplies I forgot to pack for a weekend visit. I actually found a deodorant I like better than the one I usually use, Tom’s of Maine lavender scented, mmm… I also picked up a few snack items, and the cashier was all smiles while checking me out. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

Plenty of parking. Workers are super friendly. One person actually offered me some of the cookies he was munching on while he was working!

Maybe they’ve laid out the store to accommodate campers. To stock up for a camping trip, I was able to find everything for said trip by walking around the store’s perimeter. Among the things that I found were some delicious fruit, locally brewed beer, sausages and hamburger patties. The convenience meats like formed patties are in a cooler by themselves. There were at least four name brands of hamburger patties as well.

The most memorable thing about this grocery store was the absolutely delicious navel orange I bought here and the extremely antiquated slow spinning check out tables that are part of each check out stand where new meets old: current grocery scanning, food placed on slow spinning table and clerk picks up items from spinning table and bags.
