Will never be back here again. When I walked in, there was nobody in the front. Finally after 4 – 5 mins of waiting, the cashier come from the back and said«Are you ready?» Never smiled or said hello. The business was so slow and it took 23 minutes to make my four tacos(2 asada &2 tripa). The restaurant was so dirty. Tables were not wiped down, napkins all over the floor, windows were disgusting and the trash was full. When I finally got my tacos, the asada was so dry and cold and my tripa tacos had literally 3 pieces in each taco. When I asked the cashier for my money back, she never apologized and all she said that she will only refund me for the tacos and not my drink cause I already had been drinking it. I have never ever asked for money back when something was wrong with my food but today there was no way I was going to give them my business.

First time here. I ordered their tripas(beef intestine) and lengua which is the tongue. I enjoyed both especially the lengua which I thought was cooked perfectly. The tripas was a little too much on the crunchy side so I know next time to ask them not to cook it that long. I like my tripas more soft and crunchy. They also have a side bar where you can help yourself to the salsa, sliced cabbage, jalapeño, green and red chili sauce, cilantro, onion and lime. The prices are reasonable too.

I wish I would have read some of the reviews before coming in to eat lunch here today. The lady at the counter was extremely rude and generally seemed bothered by our presence. I made a last minute change to my order and she was not happy. I noticed the kids menu said it came with rice and beans or fries and she had not asked us which we wanted. When I asked her about it she said the mini nachos do not, although their menu does not state that. It also says free mini donut, which we of course didn’t get and I didn’t bother to ask. The food was not very good either so it’s definitely not worth putting up with bad service for. We will not be back, it’s hard to enjoy your feed when you receive such Terrible service.

FOODPOISONING. We went to the Javi’s on Court St yesterday 2÷8÷16. I ordered a Bean, cheese & rice burrito and my boyfriend had an Asada burrito. He got sick and I didn’t, so it had to be the meat. I’m sure because we had the same food to eat all day before the burritos. We were fans of this place but after this happened, we will not be going back. We don’t want to risk getting sick again. Very bad experience.

Good place to eat, nice price. Just sucks that they use a microwave for some of there plates. You can taste the difference.

Avoid this place if you are white or don’t speak Spanish. They will over charge you or double charge your card. ALWAYS check your bank statement after eating here. OR use cash. They are extremely slow too. Never go here in the morning for a breakfast burrito. It will be lunchtime by the time you get your food. They don’t speak English, so it’s tough to communicate with the employees. The food is not good enough to put up with the horrible service. Any Mexican food downtown is better than Javi’s. Go to El Tarasco or Alejandra’s around the corner instead.

Taco Tuesday can’t beat it. They are the very small tacos but they are delicious. Great quick stop joint down town.

This is by far my favorite mexican food restaurant I’m visalia I usually come here once a week since the food is so good. All I’ve bought is quality food, very tasteful. Are usually get their burritos, tacos or torta. You can never go wrong with any of them. 5 Stats

Best breakfast in Visalia. My favorite is the bacon empanada, a good deal, with the jalapeño and cream cheese bread. Comes to under 5 dollars and so good, Quality meat and deep fried bread. Also the machacha burrito and breakfast burritos are gourmet, and bug enough for 2 people if you get something from the bakery. Oh and the bakery is so good, always fresh, they have cheese cake, vanilla cream empanadas, and much more. Some good lunch combos too, definitely check this place out.

I can really only comment on the fish tacos, because that’s pretty much all I get here. Because they’re amazing. Simple. Delicious. I like the sauce they use, but that’s a personal thing. They have fresh chips, good salsa, and jamaica. So really it’s everything I love for a quick take-out dinner.

Took the bf here for a burrito to go for his long 12 hour day at work. Gave this place 1 star because his burrito was super duper small for an 8 dollar burrito, and he did not like the flavor, and not to mention the carne asada had bits of fat mixed in it. gross! They used the cheapest meat they could find, rolled it up in a tortilla and called it a day! Very disappointed! Don’t even know If we will be returning for their 1 dollar tacos now…

Ordered 6 dollar tacos to go. Waited 20 mins. Barely any people there. The people that came in 10 mins after me got their food. I asked about my order and they had no idea what I was talking about. Lost my order. How do you lose track of an order when there are only like 2 other orders? Had to tell them what I ordered again. Took 10 more mins. 30 mins from walking in the door to walking out. They didn’t even offer anything free to make up for their admitted mistake. Won’t be back. Tacos were mediocre. They had asked me if I wanted«everything on them»(yes), and they were just meat and tortillas. Where’s the everything?

Get the asada fries. I recommend asking for cabbage instead of lettuce though. The tacos are pretty tasty but, they never seem to have lemon.

New favorite place in Visalia for burritos! Eat a lot of bean and cheese burritos at different places. There’s in the best in Visalia. And one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Very large to, not some tiny thing.

Just had the 3 lb hungry man burrito, and told them to make it wet with carne asada. So hungry I killed the whole thing, no problem. As far as taste goes, it was mediocre at best, particularly their carne asada. Luckily they had that salsa bar to make it a little better. My buddy ordered the nachos, I tried a little and was very disappointing. I would’ve gone to my usual spot(galacticos on ben maddox) but it was pouring rain outside. Would only recommend as a last resort or if you’re drinking downtown and have a case of the munchies.

I wish I could’ve brought this place back to Vegas with me. The food was excellent. One of the first taco restaurants I have gone to where they actually season the food. I got the burrito special and I’ve never had so much food in my life haha! I should’ve taken some to go but I opted to rest, eat in and people watch. They have some of the most colorful characters here. If you happen to drive through Visalia and are into tacos and burritos as much as I am, definitely stop here.
