If I could give a ZERO I would! Belinda Lopez and Elaine Clark are not trustworthy people and ultimately their customer service is appalling. They lie about their return policy and because they don't want to take a hit to their sales numbers they will refuse to take a return - they even go as far as to insult their customers and lie.
A week ago, I was shopping at 2 of their stores - the San Diego store and the Vista store. I was there with my future mother-in-law for an entire day shopping for a backup dress because my wedding dress was SO close to not fitting and my wedding was a week away. All of the saleswomen were aware of my situation and assured me and my mother in law that we could return the "back up" dress if I didn't need it. Well, I ended up fitting in my original dress and when my mother-in-law went to return the backup dress that I NEVER wore (6 days later) they came up with all kinds of excuses to deny the return. 1st excuse - only the bride can return the dress. Lie. My mother-in-law purchased the dress with her card and was returning it to the same store. 2nd excuse - you can't do returns after your wedding date. Lie. No where on their website or receipt does it say returns have to be before your wedding day. 3rd excuse - the most insulting part... Sales Manager Belinda Lopez claims I wore the dress. Lie. I never even took it out of the bag - no alterations, nothing! I purchased it off the clearance rack and it wasn't cleaned before we bought it. I even pulled several floor dresses to show Belinda that their dresses have marks and makeup on them from trying them on. She was so insulting and all the while tried to act so apologetic. It was ridiculous. I even showed her the spotless train and pictures of me in my actual wedding dress. Nothing! Not only did their saleswomen lie to me, their Operations Manager Elaine Clark assured me everything would be fine when we first tried on the dress. I will be sharing this on social media and warning every bride and bridal party not to trust Vista's David's Bridal with their special day. This was fraudulent, unethical, and an awful way to return home from my wedding. To be conned out of $350 for a sale that was supposed to put me at ease as a bride is really a shame.

I made an online appointment on Saturday and saw many available 90 minute openings. We were greeted at the door and checked in right away. Haley, my consultant, provided wonderful service throughout the entire appointment. She made me feel beautiful, comfortable and put absolutely no pressure on us to buy. I came in just wanting to see what styles I liked and we ended up purchasing a dream dress for under $ 600! I was planning to go to a wedding boutique and am so happy that I decided to come into this store! Thank you Haley for experimenting with my hair and making one random appointment into a special one!

Walked in Monday afternoon in search of 2 wedding dresses. One for my court wedding and one for the actual ceremony. Soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a consultant assisting a couple. I stood there a little bit until the manager came up and greeted me as well. They said they had no appointments available due to consultants which is very annoying especially when I’m trying to shop for two dresses and my stress level was already at a high. The manager said I could look around and asked me what I was looking for. I feel the direction she pointed me to was not a help. I asked for semi-casual and short because it was my court dress and didn’t need a huge one(yet.) She walked me over to the clearance rack where all the dresses I saw on there were long and not appealing to me. I browsed around a little more on my own but did not find anything cute for my needs. I was very disappointed and felt a waste of time coming to David’s Bridal to be a quarter assisted. I would not recommend shopping here.

Came in on a Sunday when they were super busy, looking to order a bridesmaid dress for my best friends wedding. First time being here it was a little overwhelming! Fortunately I was immediately greeted by Maureen who walked me through the process which was overall very painless. Mariela quickly got my measurements and grabbed the dress I would be trying on. Not very personable but she made it a quick and easy process. I was checked out by Maureen once again and we were out of there in about 15 minutes. These ladies know efficiency!

First time: I came here on super bowl Sunday, slow day. The girl helping us was spread then between a few appointments do we were pretty much on our own. I to, d her the color scheme and style. She showed me all the dresses that come in the colors I like for the bridesmaids. 2 of my 3 girls find dresses they like. We go to pay and order. We then find out that the dresses they like didn’t come in the dresses they picked. After 30 minutes and picking out 3 more additional dresses because once again NONE of the dresses we picked had the right colors, but yet the consultant told us we could order any of the dresses we picked in the selected color scheme we had. We got so frustrated me just had them write down the dresses and we’ll come back. 2 visit: we arrive and it’s crazy busy. We are introduced to our consultant, she pulled the dresses from last time and put us in a room. We never saw her AGAIN! We picked the dress and color and now ready to pay. Once again the dress she picked doesn’t come in the color she likes but the last girl confirmed it did. We then order the 2nd dress and had to pick 3 different colors. After realizing why the colors aren’t showing up the girl tells me the dress is actually discontinued and it not even available to order. After 30 minutes of standing their. Oh and by the way my consultant I originally had that never followed up saw us checking out and says«oh sorry, did u pick a dress». I thought this was a joke. Alma the girl helping me was nice and saw my frustration. I gave it 2 stars because alma was helpful. It’s unfortunate I’ll never return to this store. The customer service is horrible. This is suppose to be a fun and exciting experience. The bridal shop should take the pressures off the bride not add to the stress. I’m happy to say my bridesmaid was able to make it to David’s bridal in Murrieta and get a dress in the original color she liked. Before looking for a dress the consultant looked to see what dresses came in the color she liked, followed up with her and was even nice enough to FaceTime me so I can be apart of the experience. She was so helpful and apologetic about our experience. If you want to have a long lasting memory of your dress shopping experience visit the Murrieta store!

I just had THEBEST experience today! My sister-in-law and I were helped by Marlana, Brittney, Liza and Cassi! They had the most amazing personalities and made our appointment comfortable and very fun! It seriously felt like we have been friends for years! The appointment with Mariela and the service from Maureen were amazing. We got the first appointment of the day on a Saturday and it was pretty quiet in the store, which made it very comfortable and more intimate. Mariela found the perfect dress for my sister on clearance and really made her imagine herself on her wedding day. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family :)

My sister is getting married and she wanted to check out their dresses here. We had a early morning appointment on Saturday morning. We walked in and was immediately greeted(which was nice). I didn’t really pay attention to what my sister was doing pre-dress trying on, but the lady that was helping her first wasn’t her consultant. So I have no idea how their process works. However, we walked around and looked at dresses and were notified that we were NOT allowed to pull any dresses and had to contact my sister consultant on which dresses she can try on. There was a limit of 3 dresses at a time. I’m not engaged nor have ever been married, but I just didn’t get the feeling of the intimate special treatment at David’s. It just seemed like my sister was just another client, didn’t feel special. The consultant that helped her(I wish I remembered her name) was not into it at all. She just seemed like she didn’t want to be there! She was very standoffish and didn’t really talk to us about what we thought about the dresses my sister tried on or no interest on how we all felt about the dresses being tried on! Besides all my ranting, my sister ended up finding her special dress! After we left, I asked my sister how she felt about the service there and she just responded, UGH it was alright. She did mention that her consultant was not into her job and did seem like she didn’t want to be there. That sucks.

I have NEVER had a Customer Service experience like this. I was SO nervous and worried what with all the planning I STILL have left to do for my wedding in May. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in. The reception girl immediately started to put my mind at ease. My consultant was Marlana and she was a DOLL! We talked as we shopped and I tried on dresses. The conversation just took me back to when I knew I wanted to marry my wonderful fiancé and how far he and I have come in the past three years. Before I knew it, I FELLINLOVEWITH A DRESS! Not only did it fit my itty bitty budget but it was what I had invisioned since day one; simple yet elegant. Marlana will go above and beyond and GENUINELY wants to see you happy. I will recommend her to everyone I know and she’ll FOREVER be remembered as a major part of my special day. THANKYOU to the staff at David’s Bridal but ESPECIALLY Marlana!
