As always Popeyes has some great chicken. This location is pretty clean and has a friendly staff. I will definitely be back soon and recommended to friends.

Food: great crispy fried Louisiana chicken. Meat is very tender and not too greasy at all. They have family meals or you can just buy chicken straight up. Mashed potatoes w Cajun gravy is a good side to get. Potatoes are creamy and the seasoning in the gravy is just right on top. Biscuits are moist and have a sprinkle of saltiness on top. This goes perfectly w honey packets, which you have to ask for BTW. They have Cole products and some very sweet tea. Service: nothing special at all. Not many smiles towards customers, but many smiles towards fellow workers. All of the chicken is cooked already and doesn’t take to long to get served to you hot. Atmosphere: there are only 4 tiny tables in here and a couple outside. The area looks a little shady, so I recommend just taking the food to go. Parking: lot is shared with many other stores. Didn’t have a problem finding a spot on a weekday night.

Came to this little chicken coop. Call Popeyes Chicken this place is very small and nowhere to sit. The people that work here are not friendly the chicken is OK but if you need any sauces they charge you $ 0.20 a piece Go to the other big franchise call KFC it’s a lot better

The food is decent but the place is small and they have the worst customer service. The employees are always to busy gossiping every time I go in and get annoyed whenever you try to order because you are interrupting them. The place is tiny and they are never quick to give you food.

The chicken is good — I prefer over KFC any day. The place is tiny though, so don’t plan on eating there. Staff training, very poor.(1). Most of the time I go there, the chicken & biscuits are already cooked & siting there. Why does it take two people, 5 minutes to put it in a box?(2). Last time there I asked for 8 piece, thighs only. There was a lot of ‘discussion’ behind the counter about this, pointing, hand-waving, etc. Got home and found out that I got an 11-piece, wings and legs. Apparently, the discussion was because they didn’t know which piece is a thigh. Come on, you only sell breasts, wings, legs and thighs. It’s not that hard. Anyway, it’s good chicken…

This place is constantly busy and because it’s so small that makes it worst. So yes the food is pretty good yeah yeah but I stopped coming here because it’s so small and sometimes the line is out the door. The poor employees try to please everyone as they should but sometimes they can’t. I remember I came in one night about an hour before they were closing and I wanted some honey to go with my biscuit. They just ran out of honey and I was disappointed but understand this place is always busy and it was towards the end of the night. The parking lot is bigger than Popeye’s but that’s ok and that’s another thing is that the parking lot can be a little tough. I wish there were more locations like Mc D’s but it is what it is.

I live down the street from this place and have been here a few times. Its an incredibly small location and its almost always busy. However, the food is consistently amazing and the service is friendly. That is all, check them out!

Worst customer service. Nickle and dime you for extra dipping sauces; NOTMILITARYFRIENDLY(NO10% MILITARYDISCOUNT) Unlike Popeye’s in Murrieta. Food was cold & Sweet Tea tastes rancid. Better to go hungry than drop a Penny in this place !!!

No drive thru and didn’t have the sauce I wanted and the area makes me want to lock my doors just sitting in the car. Get your shit together

My wife and I really like Popeye’s, will go here before KFC every time, but this location is my least favorite. In a strip mall, no drive thru, and not near enough seating, this place disappoints on location.

As far as fried chicken goes, Popeye’s is a winner, I’ll take Popeye’s over KFCANYDAY! I love their spicy chicken and their biscuits are dangerously good. This particular location is super small, gets very crowded in the evening. This is fast food at t’s finest, good ol’ hearty fired chicken. FYI– service is fast

I visit this location every now and then when I have time from work. Popeye’s is pretty standard and consistent with their chicken. The service here is good and they work pretty fast. The restaurant is just too small for the amount of people that come in. I often times have a hard time finding a seat because there are I believe no more than 6 tables for patrons. Food is good though and thats all you can really ask for. I do enjoy their chicken and sides and prefer this than KFC.

Have been wanting to go here ever since the new ad campaign on TV started for them. Had never been before. Service was excellent — staff was friendly, efficient and patient as we decided what we wanted, and the food was wonderful. The chicken, catfish and shrimp were all fresh and cooked to perfection. Great fries and coleslaw, and awesome biscuits(WAY better than KFC… and I LOVE their biscuits)! Will definitely return in the future.

We waited over 20 minutes for our order. And people who showed up 10 to 15 minutes after us were receiving their orders before us. When we finally got our food it was cold. Too bad the staff is so broken. They need better management.

I love this place! It gets busy very quickly and the place is very tiny so you will sharing space with a bunch of customers which is a downfall, but the food is good, and it keeps me coming back.

Been a regular for quite some time, ever since the regular manager left and the place remodeled it’s been going downhill, not only are the employees rude but the last time I ate there I got food poisoning, my friend eating here last night whom woke up with food poisoning again! Don’t eat the chicken tenders they taste funny and get you sick!

OK, so I vowed in the New Year that I’d eat healthier, cook more at home, make more quality time for friends and family, and to get back into marathon shape for the wedding. It was a lazy Sunday night on the way to the parent’s house and this place was calling my name. This was the most convenient fried chicken place and right off the 76 freeway. When I looked at the parking lot, there seemed to be a lot of cars. WHAT?! Then we got out and when we saw the restaurant, there was a line to the door. Double WHAT?! Service was fast and friendly considering how busy it was. The only downfall is the wait to get your chicken. It took about 10 mins to get our order and we ordered a family meal(dozen pcs with 6 biscuits) for $ 20. Dang you greasy fried chicken and buttery biscuits! Dang you!!! Just another setback to the #weddingbody…

okay, i admit it. after my experiences at KAISER, i was already pretty hateful by the time WYATT and i got to POPEYE’s. since it was only a couple hours since we’d stuffed ourselves with sushi at lunch, i was kinda surprised when i asked WYATT if he felt like getting something on the way home and he immediately answered fried chicken, biscuits and red beans and rice. called the wife and daughter to find out what they wanted and pulled off the 78 at EMERALD. by the time we got there, it was about 5:30(on a saturday night) and the line was out the door. there was only one register open and the crew was deep in the weeds. the girl had a terrible time getting my order ordered correctly adding to my frustration. the wait was forever. ten people that ordered after got served before us(and i’m not talking a drink or some fries but lots of eight and twelve piece«buckets») and i was on the ceiling. my low, slow simmer was coming to a full boil. raced home and served heaping piles of food all around. a couple bites into that delicious, crispy fried chicken and the red beans and rice, i’m not saying all was forgiven but … okay. but nothing. all was forgiven.

This newly renovated Popeye’s is clean, bright, and serves some damn good fried chicken! It was my doggy’s golden birthday(he turned 9 on the 9th!) so we decided to treat him to his favorite for dinner — fried chicken. It all started years ago when my husband left a box of fried chicken on the counter. While he was getting ready in the morning, our boxer, King, jumped up on the table grabbed the box of chicken and ate all 8 pieces, bones and all! All I remember was getting a call at work from my husband. He was irate!(And when I say irate, I mean like boiling mad, screaming«WHOATEMYCHICKEN!!» «Who did this! Who did this! He ate all 8 pieces! There’s one piece left on the floor!» It was pretty comical.) Yea, so fast forward many years later, and he we are buying our dog, King, a box of chicken. Things come full cycle. Well at least it’s boneless this time! Yes, so we see a deal on the window for 11 pieces, 6 biscuits, 2 large sides. They let us mix 5 boneless mild and 6 bone in spicy. Pretty accommodating. All of this for under $ 20. Great deal! So King and his brother Rascal had the best dinner ever and there was no yelling involved this time :) Only love! I sneaked some of King’s boneless white meat chicken and I have to say it was fried to perfection and super juicy! Who knew! White meat! Had to give it 5 stars since the chicken is so good and they did a great job on the remodel(even with digital animated menus!). We’ll be back, maybe this time for Racal’s birthday in August :)
