Best Gourmet shrimp tacos ever. A co worker was ranting and raving about the gourmet shrimp taco and I had to go in for my self and check it out. WOW. Literally best thing ever. I did the plate which came with bean/cheese. Very impressed. This particular rubios was clean and staff was super attentive. I will be making this my go to lunch spot!

I received an email about a renovation, and in it an invitation in the form of a free entrée coupon. Decided to stop by and make use of the free meal before it expired(today) and check out the new features. They’ve changed out all of the old artwork, chairs, tables; added a large communal table seating near the restrooms, a new drink machine featuring odwalla lemonade, a glass case with desserts, and under that a refrigerated case holding the beers and other bottled drinks. They had a new limited time special, the shrimp and bacon burrito and salad. If you’ve tried the gourmet shrimp taco, you’ll know what this tastes like. There is another added ingredient in the form of blackened jalapeños… I don’t know if the blackening process makes it spicier, but those jalapeños were some of the spiciest I’ve ever had! I was doing pretty good until I got about a quarter through the burrito where I encountered the dreaded green rings of fire. It was a slow burn at first, it didn’t take long before I couldn’t taste my food anymore from the habanero level burn I was experiencing. Overall the food was pretty good once I got past(picked out) the jalapeños, it was just like a giant version of the gourmet shrimp taco. The new décor is pretty nice, it has a lot cleaner look to it.
