Although I’m a big proponent of public transportation, when the Sprinter was proposed I was not a fan. I mean after all, it basically runs from the beach to Escondido. And it cost $ 477 million. However, I’ve now come to appreciate having it. But still think they spent too much. Plus they could have partnered with the casinos in Valley Center and had the train run up there. That would definitely bring in more riders. But enough of my rant, back to my review. You can always find a parking spot because there are a lot of parking spots. I don’t think I’ve ever seen more than 6 cars parked in the lot. Most people either walk to the station or get dropped off. Trains run on time. Although occasionally they’re a few minutes early. You can buy your tickets on the platform or in advance and the benches are shaded.
