Holy Cow this place is the bees knees! Me and this keen guy I carry a torch for ordered a paneer and tiki masala pizza the other night and boy oh boy were we impressed. We both agree that this place is on the up and up and could use some more advertising… And better pizza dough. Overall, we really enjoyed it and paired it with some giggle water. Atta boy Bombay pizza! See ya daddio!

Good. The original pizza was so-so, and I found the samosa pizza to be too heavy. The spicy paneer was good though, the sauce was very tasty. I would drop by again if in the area.

Overall, I think this place has potential but they have a lot of better competition in the area. There are better pizza joints and better Indian restaurants within a short drive, and the novelty of combining the two just isn’t enough to carry this restaurant. Their prices are far too high for their mediocre pizzas with dried-out crusts and chincy toppings. As you may see from my other reviews, I’m a huge fan of Indian food. I’d never heard of fusing it with pizza, so I was really excited to try this place out but nothing really wowed us. The best part was the Chaats(appetizers/sides) which were all acceptable. They were about the same as what you’d get anywhere else, but they were a pretty good deal at only $ 5 each. The paneer tikka pizza was a complete failure. Basically this was just a roller-rink pizza with a begrudging, minimal amount of paneer on it. The crust was dry and stiff, barely covered in standard tomato sauce(not tikka masala or anything remotely Indian-inspired), and there was hardly any paneer on it at all! There were maybe 3 tiny little cubes per slice that I barely noticed while eating. Avoid this particular pizza or risk being seriously disappointed. The samosa supreme pizza was a bit better. This one had more substance to it and was covered in chutney that had a nice flavor. I enjoyed it but it would’ve been a LOT better if it had more of the seasoned potato chunks(the heart and soul of a samosa) on it. It wasn’t a bad pizza compared to the other, but it was way overpriced considering the(again) terribly dry stiff crust and sparse toppings. The restaurant is a cute novelty but is not worth a second visit. There’s honestly not much reason to eat here. edit: Oh, they’re closed now. Imagine that.

Finally tried this spot after having it bookmarked for a while. Walking in to this place you don’t really expect a whole lot. But the Indian fusion pizza actually tastes pretty good. It would be 10x better if they made fresh dough instead of the pre-made, frozen carnival type pizza dough they use. We ordered one pie — half with desi veggie(olives, 2 types of peppers, onions) and th other half was samosa. Bf enjoyed the veggie side better bc it was spicy. I enjoyed the samosa side. It was like eating Indian food on pizza dough. Very good but no original pizza flavor at all. The sauce was dark and sweet. They tasted good but I think could be better. Glad we went and checked it out. Bf wanted to try the paan masala ice cream. I tried one little bite and knew it wasnt my thing. It must be an acquired taste. He enjoyed it and ate half of it before getting full. The guy at the counter was friendly but almost gave us the wrong pizza and an extra one at that. Not sure if we’ll be back but I’m glad we got to check it off my bookmark list

AWESOMEPIZZA! Can’t ask for anything better. It’s just awesome. We had half samosa and half chilli paneer pizza. There is no comparison to the taste of this pizza. We had dahi puri which was very good and a papri chat which lacked the masala. It was more papri but less veggies & sauce. I had a sub as well for lunch next day. It was good as well. The sub didn’t had much masala tho. Pizza is awesome. If you didn’t had this pizza yet you are missing out a lot.

Fun and inexpensive pizza that’s all vegetarian with an Indian twist. They run specials of 2 small pizzas or toasted veggie Indian subs for $ 10, plus a Unilocal Deal and checkin offer available for free soda on app. We were able to feed 2 adults &2 little guys for about $ 23. The Indian pizza toppings are the way to go here, since it’s not exactly gourmet pizza. Get a samosa chutney pie, spiced eggplant or spicy paneer topped pizza for something different. The toppings are really tasty. I only say it’s not gourmet because the crust seems pre-made. It’s not bad crust but not super delicious either. It’s the original Indian combo pizzas that make this place worth a stop. Plus the owner was really nice. They also have different types of chaat, mango lassi, regular veggie pizzas and some desserts on the menu. Basically something for everyone, excepting hardcore carnivores.

WOW, what a great combo of Indian cuisine and pizza! I had the pleasure of discovering this restaurant on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did! The Samosa and Baingan Bartha eggplant pizza was very tasty! When I got it, It was piping hot and the ingredients were fresh. It took my taste buds a few seconds to adjust to these different flavors but after the first bite I was hooked. Definitely have to go back soon!

*spicy paneer pizza(the only thing spicy about it was the sriracha sauce on top of the pizza, they sprinkled some cubes of paneer on top for which they should have added more; I think they should have mixed mozzarella with paneer and perhaps made into a white pie so you can taste the cheeses more) *baingan bartha pizza(baked eggplant with herbs and spices; I think the eggplant got lost in the pizza altogether, when you get the pie, you can’t even tell that eggplant exists. The pie looks nothing like the picture. so deceiving. Regardless, I thought the flavor was better than the spicy paneer but looked unappealing) The crust on the pizza was not so good, it was stale and lacked flavor. It would have been cool to see them incorporate roti or naan into the pizza dough or have really large naan as the dough. This place was alright. It took forever for us to get our pie even though we were the only customers there. It’s a relatively clean spot. Décor and atmosphere is NOT what you should expect. I got a free fountain drink after checking in, which was nice. But those cups were the flimsiest containers ever; I’m surprised I didn’t drop it because gripping it was nearly impossible. I’m not sure why this place got such a high rating, it’s honestly not that great.

After going to every Indian restaurant in the area it was time for Indian pizza. I read the reviews and my hopes were high. I ate here a few times to give them a fair review. I tried the Bombay Masala, Paneer Tikka and Spicy Paneer pizzas. All three tasted just okay. Just not what I was expecting. I was expecting naan bread layered with Indian food. That being said they weren’t bad either. As opposed to some reviews here I thought it was more like cheese pizza and less Indian food. While the crust was good the ingredients lacked a bit in Indian flavor. The Bombay Masala was more like a salty cheese pizza while the Tikka and Paneer tasted just a bit more tomato-ish. I would suggest this place to anyone interested in different pizzas or as an introduction to folks who never had Indian food. Service was excellent too which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 3. I’ll be back to try their Samosa pizza.

Are you an Indian person who grew up with Singa’s Famous Pizza and miss it like crazy down here in South Jersey? This is kind of an «eh» version of Singas. It’s not that the pizza is necessarily bad — it is just not that great. First of all, the Indian pizzas are so over seasoned that they totally overwhelm the taste of pizza. I just feel like I am eating Indian food and there is no pizza involved. The amount of chutneys etc that they put on the pizza is excessive. There is also waaay too much garam masala on some of them. ***If you are going to try any pizza, I suggest the paneer tikka. The least overwhelming. Second, the crusts are not that great. I know that they make a point of saying nothing is frozen — which I appreciate — but the crust just doesn’t have that much taste and is relatively floppy. I think the crust gets overwhelmed by the amount of stuff they put on it. Chaats — they recently added these to the menu. I tried a few of them, specifically the papri chaat. I had also ordered the bhel but they accidentally gave me two papri chaats, which I didn’t notice until I got home. The chaat was fine but it was not memorable in anyway. In no way reminiscent of the amazing chaat in Edison, Jersey City, etc. Overall, fine if you are missing Indian pizza but nothing that you are going to rave about.

Indian and Italian?! well im telling you guys never to judge a book by its cover. I ordered a Bombay Masala calzone from here and it was decisively better than the plain marinara calzones you can order from your Italian pizzerias around the corner. The texture, the sauce everything just makes sense when you take your first bite. But alas I can sit and preach to you guys for hours how good this but to experience this you HAVETO go and order a fusion cuisine item from these guys.

The one thing that will put a smile on my face: Spicy paneer pizza. Trying to figure out why I never reviewed this place earlier, but it’s the best fusion Indian pizza EVER. I’ve had singhas, and I’ll be honest, this beats it in my opinion. I do wish they ran more deals, and I’m not loving that they expanded their menu to a typical Indian one(last time I went in there I saw gulab jamuns listed) — because it loses the fusion aspect. I’ve tried almost every pizza on the menu since they opened, but spicy paneer hits the spot everytime. Left overs go great in the toaster oven for 5 minutes. A must try if you’re in the area!

I got half four alarm and half samosa. The samosa is tasty though I think the cheese didn’t belong. Four alarm is a good clean burn. Sauce and crust are quite good. No atmosphere to speak of. Would be ideal for take out. Wish they opened earlier Sundays for game day. Will be back to try more of the unusual menu.

Definitely different from what I was expecting but no complaints here because my pizza was delicious! Currently my vote goes to the Samosa pizza. It’s nothing short of perfect.

Very interesting concept. Indian-themed pizzas. I thought it was OK, but my boyfriend went wild for this place. I bought the Unilocal deal, but when I got there found out that their BOGO special was actually better than the Unilocal deal, so I’ll definitely be going back with my Unilocal deal soon!

I think it is a good place to try if you want something different. The sauces/flavors were good. The issues: I ordered the Paneer Tikka pizza and also the Bombay pizza. They were so stingy on the paneer(the only topping on the pizza). There was only one cube of paneer per slice. The paneer itself was delicious, I just wish there was more on my pizza. I would recommend asking for extra paneer and also adding another topping to it. The bombay pizza had no toppings just cheese, but it was tasty. I think they also overcook the cheese, it becomes overdone and starts getting tough. The crust is also nothing too exciting, almost a thin crust but not quite there either. The verdict: I would come back… when I am craving certain flavors, because the flavors were very good but it’s lacking in some of the quality. It is a unique place– wouldn’t hurt to try it for something new.

I’m a big fan! Not the best overall pizza I have ever had, but the addition of these Indian«toppings» were quite an experience. I LOVE Indian food, and also have a soft spot for really good pizza. We tried two 10″ pies: one was half Baingan Bartha & half Cauliflower Avakaya, and the other was half Samosa & half Paneer Tikka. BB was good, not great, but well seasoned. Paneer T was delicious, and a wonderful mix of paneer and mozzarella. CA was most definitely a surprise, and an awesome mouthful of flavor… cauliflower pickle chutney, and it’s spicy! My favorite, by far, was the Samosa. I love Samosa’s and this derivation did not disappoint! Another bright point was the price. The grand opening special was going on(but I am told that they have been open for months… not complaining!) and the 10″ pies were BOGO! Also I checked in on Unilocal, and got a free fountain drink. 2 pies and a drink ran us just short of $ 8! Pretty sweet! Also on the menu are Calzones and Pizza Turnovers(available with Indian toppings), which I look forward to trying sometime soon! My only«complaint,» if you can even call it that, is the crust. It served it’s purpose, but I was not a big fan. Would like to have seen more of a naan-type crust for their«Bombay Specialty» and«Paneer» pizzas. This tasted more like the type of crust from the CiCi’s pizza buffet chain. :(

LOVED this pizza! I got the Desi Paneer and my man got the Bombay. The combination of paneer and mozzarella was suprisingly tasty. The crust was really good too, and the prices were on point. I love the buy two get one cheese pizza free deal! Only gripe I have is that we waited a good 15 minutes for the pizzas, yet there was no one else in the place at the time. Next time we want it, I will make sure to order ahead, so it is there for when we are hungry!
