Super Supplements

I try to support local business where I can, but I’m guessing this place underwent a change of ownership in the past few years? Used to be a lot friendlier and seemed more competitive in price. As with most things, I’ve found I can order it online for substantially less $ and have it on my doorstep :)

I am Very disappointed with this location. I’ll explain. This location is extremely difficult to park. It’s also on a hill. But that’s only part of it.
I ordered online several items. I got a phone call that my order was ready for pick up. From my end everything seemed fine. My credit card showed the transaction as being charged for the full amount, my confirmation email showed all items ordered shipped.
However, once I arrived at the store I only received a partial order. There was nothing on the packing slip showing the missing item as back ordered or unavailable. I was a little upset, but I got even more upset at the manager’s response. He says this is all common. The company didn’t really charge me for the entire order, they merely just authorized the entire amount.
Well, no. One week later the charge to my credit card is the full charge including all of the items. The company didn’t deduct the missing item like the manager implied or the amount was reversed and the correct amount charged.
When I asked the manager why didn’t they have the courtesy to notify me that they were only shipping a partial order, he replied that they’re too busy and don’t have the staff. I am stunned.
Suffice to say I am getting a charge back with my credit card company as filed a formal complaint. I won’t be buying again online from SS. I’ll try to buy from someone else my Vitamins from now on

This place is great! I just moved to the area and I was so glad to find them right away. They have a nice variety, the prices are comparable to other places and best of all, their staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I will be going there for all of my supplement needs. The only thing I disliked about this store was the parking lot is very cramped.

I just came back from the Bellingham store and was surprised to see that the protein powders were $ 5 more per 2lb tub compared to the internet. Lame. Also, the one I wanted wasn’t there so I had to buy a brand that I didn’t want. The guy in the store suggested I call next time so that they can ensure they have the product or arrange to have it shipped to their store.
Honestly, I’m sticking to buying the 5lb tubs online from now on. Shipping is free, you save the most money buying bulk, and i don’t have to go through the hassles of exiting of the I-​5 there.
Sales staff not that knowledgable. Lots of humming and hawing when I asked basic questions about the protein powder.

A good place to get vitamins and supplements. Hours are decent and staff is friendly and helpful. There is one item in particular that we’ve requested to be carried by them and was told that several others have asked for the same thing (Seren Oils). We don’t like the one store in town that does sell it (poor business ethics) and SS looked into it and said they would not carry it because they don’t have room on the shelf for it. If they carried this item we would buy all our supplements here (we buy maybe half of them here). For that reason and because the parking is terrible I gave it 3 stars.

The staff when I was here were friendly and helpful.

This place rocks! You can find any herbal supplement you need at awesome prices! I moved here from another city and was pleasantly surprised to find the same brand and formulation of an herbal treatment I used regularly WAY cheaper (I used to buy it at Wild Oats).

Need vitamins or dietary supplements? Get here first. They’re a Seattle-​based chain that provides excellent products for excellent prices! Staff is friendly and relatively helpful as well. I haven’t found anything in Bellingham that can beat it in terms of vitamin stores!
