We came from out of town to visit family and go to the UT Baylor football game. I came for the antique shopping and stopped by Cameron trading company on Monday, December 7 at around noon. My mother accompanied me and sat at the front to wait while I was shopping. While I was shopping she was told by the gentleman at the front desk, to get out of the chair at one of the booths at the front because people couldn’t see the chair and I needed to go outside and sit on the bench in a rude manner. I had planned on buying some pricing things but with that attitude I thought I don’t need this and we left. However the lady at the front desk was nice. Needless to say we probably won’t be back here again.

This is an interesting store pack with a variety of proto– antiques from mostly the 50’s and 60’s. There are some older nice pieces but are priced with this realization. Upstairs there is more but mostly furniture and more worn than the first floor. Compared to other antique malls in the region it is Ok.

Tons of this and that knick knacks and shelf holders. Not much furniture. Disappointed.

Hands down the best antique shop in Waco. They have an amazing selection of beautiful antiques, knowledgeable, friendly staff and a wonderful kitty(who’s name I’ve forgotten) who loves to follow visitors around, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for an interesting item for a gift or just like to browse, definitely visit this one of a kind establishment. Also a very convenient location downtown.
