Well I was excited to try out the new location but sadly it is not the same. Looks great, very impressive surroundings staff not so much. My daughter went to the front desk to ask if they had anymore of an item that we wanted 2 of in stock and was told no, not let me check inventory let me come see just a rude no. Later I went to purchase and although there were 4 employees at the front desk not one made eye contact asked if I was ready to check out or so much as spit on me so needless to say I left my item and will not be returning. Maybe they didn’t notice that there are a few other western stores in town that believe in friendly CUSTOMER service.

I was looking for a very specific boot that this location didn’t have. Miles took the time to help me find the boots I wanted in the correct size at another location. I was able to pay with my credit card and have them shipped to my home :) Thank you, Miles!

It’s not Cavenders’ fault, but today’s boot makers are doing a great job at making ugly boots. Custom is the only solution!

I ordered a large shirt online and they sent me a little girls large so I called and they said they don’t even carry the shirt in women’s sizes. I went back online to make sure that I ordered a large in women’s and what do ya know I ordered a «girls» large. That was probably because that shirt and one other was surrounded by all«ladies» or women’s sized shirts. I called and they basically said we will give you a refund on your shirt if you send it back. Hmmmm thats $ 10 on shipping to me and $ 10 to ship it back and NO shirt. BAD customer service! Be cautious when ordering online from these folks.

In every man’s life there comes a time when he must decide whether to buy a cowboy hat. Today at Cavender’s was mine. The selection was amazing(not to mention boots, belts, etc.). But beyond that, the service was incredible. Not knowing diddly about cowboy hats, and being the only guy in the store without a belt buckle larger than a dinner plate, I was obviously out of my league. The guy(Austin) steered me to a great-priced hat that he sized and shaped for me. I honestly can say he’s one of the top ten people in customer service I’ve ever talked to. I may look like a goober in a cowboy hat, but I’ll wear it proudly now.
