Our room had a roach and another big black bug as our guests, sorta deleted my warm and cozy feeling about the place once I saw them, the air conditioners are the old style with the electro mechanical & push button controls where you have to guess at the temperature setting, I woke up a couple times during the night really cold & got up & changed the thermostat, easy to get sick breathing the cold air, as well the air conditioner front was hanging off the front of the unit, overall seems to be a very worn place that looked good on the outside of the building but the inside was not good, $ 60 plus tax was great at first but I definitely expected a clean room, I would reccomend that you stay somewhere else, I am going home now to check my bags for Roaches.

Bathroom was filthy with mold and mildew on tile and shower liner dirty. Hair in the tub and on the floor. Hair on the toilet. Found something like a bug or molded piece of food in the bed. Manager gave us a 20 dollar credit. Not worth it.

PETFRIENDLY&NICESTAY On our way from Michigan to be Winter Texans in Port Aransas and the GPS routed us through Waco. We needed to find a pet friendly motel for the night and this stretch off the exit had multiple motels to chose from. We picked the Days Inn and it was pet friendly, both for our dog and cat. Sometimes this is not an easy task. The clerk gave us dog treats but said she was sorry she did not have any for the cat. The room was very clean, fairly large for a motel, and in great condition. The area around the motel was not optimum for walking the dog but the street behind the motel was lightly traveled and worked out fine. It was only 3 doors down from a mexican resturarant that was the best mexican meal I have ever had. This was a chance stop but one I would definately make again.
