Shipley Do-nuts

This is the best Shipleys you will ever go to. You can watch them bake the donuts through the glass. Excellent customer service. They’ve mastered the plain glazed donut. Don’t think all the Shipleys are the same! This one is head and shoulders above the others around town.

Love this location. The donuts are always fast and fresh. Even if you go later in the morning, they continue cooking fresh batches. The staff is always friendly and helpful! Best donuts in Waco, for sure!

Disappointed with this location. Visited two times, each time met with poor customer service and attitude. Have lost my business.

This Shipley Do-​nuts location is close to my neighborhood. I like to walk to walk there with my family on Saturday mornings to get a doughnut and some coffee. One thing I like about this place is the clientele — I see people I know most of the time and it is full of local characters.
The service is quick and the doughnuts are consistently good. The bakery is visible through a glass window from the dining room so it is possible to watch the doughnuts being made while waiting in line to order. In addition to doughnuts, the menu includes savory kolaches. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, so I often order this instead of a doughnut. I think the sausage kolaches are really good, but the bacon ones are too dry.
The coffee is from a Douwe Egberts machine. It is a little watery for my taste.
