–The BBQ pizza and the Wonderstuff Bohemian Beer were delicious. –I shared some onion rings with my friend and wasn’t too crazy about those, but that’s just my opinion. –The waitress we had was super nice!

This place is awesome. I tried the baby back ribs and there house burger and it was amazing! The staff is amazing too. They are always happy. The one thing I didn’t like was that under some of the tables it was sticky. But other wise it was good.

Such a cute place in a little town. Food was delicious and the drink selection was great. The patio was decked out for semi outdoor seating and it was super cute. We had a walk in large group and they accommodated us just fine.

They have a great craft beer selection and good food. Idk what these negative reviews are all about. Great place!

In a word, disappointing. The bacon cheddar burger was meat, a bun, cheese and bacon that was cooked a LONG time ago. Where’s the lettuce? Where’s the tomato? Or onion? Nowhere! I arrived at 1108, placed my order at 1110 and got two Togo burgers at 1131. There were no ketchup or mustard packages included and the burger was way overcooked and very very dry. While I was there probably 5 employees arrived so I think they don’t bother fully staffing until 1130. The staff wasn’t particularly friendly and food is offered at double the price I would say it’s worth. I think this place will be fine if they focus on the beer and just get rid of the food all together.

A group of friends and I ate at the Iron Tap on a Saturday evening at 5:30 pm. We purposely waited to eat at this newer restaurant for several months so they had a chance to work the bugs out. We ordered drinks and appetizers. The drinks took 10 – 15 minutes to get and the apps took nearly an hour to make it to our table. The onion rings were VERY doughy. The food we ordered took another hour to receive. I had the brisket with bbq beans and red potatoes. The brisket had chunks of fat in it. The beans were cold and the red potatoes were tasteless. I had very high hopes for a new Waconia restaurant. I will not be going there again

Sat down tonight, waited for 15 minutes for someone to come over and wait on us, and eventually decided to walk out. The owner/manager probably walked by at least 4 times, without even pausing to wonder«has anyone helped them», which to me is a very obvious sign that they do not know what they are doing at this restaurant. Menu is way too small and seems overpriced. Very disappointing as we were very excited to try this new place. We will not be back.

We were there on a busy night. We asked for first available seating, inside or out. Over a half an hour later the owner told the hostess that a table had opened on the patio. The hostess said OK, I’ll let them know, and went over to a couple seated at the bar, this couple arrived after we did, and offered them the table. They sat at the bar and finished their drinks before having the hostess seat them at the table. The next table that opened, inside, about 5 minutes later, was offered to us. When we mentioned this to the owner she said that the couple behind us specifically requested outdoor seating so they were given the table. She did not understand that«first available» means where ever a table opens first. I don’t believe these owners have much experience in running a restaurant and have a lot to learn. The menu is limited, smoked meats are already cooked, woodfire pizzas don’t take long and burgers are quick to make. That being said, it took almost another half hour to get our food. The food was dry, barely warm, and the chicken tasted either of nothing, my veggie burger tasted like salt. They have a great patio and rooftop deck so it’s a great spot. They just really need to improve their food, service, restaurant skills, and pricing.

Great food, great selection of delicious beer, great company and great porch. Can’t complain about much here outside the single ply toilet paper. If you like bacon wrapped stuff, they have options; and both of the items I tried(hot dog and jalepenos) were dynamite. Can’t wait to go back!

I agree with the previous 3 star review. A tad overpriced on some things. My wife had the Chardonnay at $ 14. Ok, I’ve paid that before, but the pour was unacceptably small. Beer list is pretty solid. I’d add a session IPA, especially with all the summer drinkers around Waconia. We had a bacon wrapped jalepeno appetizer. Very underwhelmed. There was no heat, the cream cheese was watered down and flavorless. The only flavor that stood out was a liquid smoke that left me reeling. Too much fake smoke. The décor and ambience was spot on. The wait staff was attentive and knowledgable. We need this place to succeed, but they need some fine tuning yet.

Great to have a place like this in Waconia. They just opened, so they are still ironing out some kinks, but there is an exciting vibe in the air. The food and beer are delicious. Our bartender, Gerry, was super cool!

This is a brand new place in downtown Waconia. I really wanted to give it higher scores but feel they need to improve just a bit before I can do that. This place is much needed in Waconia, a casual place with rooftop seating. They have a really nice décor and a ton of beers on tap as well as a nice selection of wine. They have a fairly limited menu but I liked the selection. The reason for 3 stars rather than 4⁄5 were a couple of things. With the limited menu I felt some of the items were a little pricy for what you got, they have smoked shredded meat for(chicken, pork or beef) which comes with cole slaw and a side of your choice. I ordered the pork and my husband the chicken, we basically just got a pile of dry meat, I had to ask for bbq sauce. I had the beans on the side(they were dry and cool), and a tiny portion of cole slaw. I didn’t mind the portion size but it was $ 13, seriously… I thought the price was crazy for what you got. Also, the prices for other items were a little high as well. They have pizza’s a burgers. All of our food was luke warm. Overall I really like this place it’s cute, the service was pretty good and they have a great selection of beer and wine. The food is overpriced and ok at best. With minor improvements I think they’ll be great!
