Was hesitant to come due to the info of the other reviews. I’m pleasantly surprised!!! Food is fresh. A great variety and tastes good. Wait staff is attentive and the omelette station is busy but fast. I guess getting here at 0730 has something to do with it. My party of 3 will definitely come again.

Massive amounts of food for a massive amount of cash. Breakfast is $ 31.00 per person, but have a variety of foods/fruits for the eating.

Big Island Breakfast is inside the Hilton Waikoloa Beach Resort. It’s mad overpriced(you’re paying for the location), but I thought the food was actually pretty good. The service wasn’t bad; they were kind of slow to bring out drinks and the bill but they knew they were slow so comped our drinks which was cool. It’s probably not worth it to come here more than once if you’re staying in the Waikoloa Beach area, but it’s convenient for Hilton guests and you can get a satisfying meal.

First have to say the server Ululani is awesome. Five stars in an overall one star experience. First downside is that we had to wait 25 mins on the stairs to get our name on the list. Another 30 minutes to be seated. Second the hostess(Ammy) has a serious attitude problem(hint: if you don’t like your job find something else to do). Third they don’t give a crap about reasonable accommodation for ADA(American Disabilities Act). Lastly, food is bland(loco moco patty had no flavor). Pancakes(not on Menu) turned out to very good. The price is also pretty high so probably not worth it unless you have a voucher.

If I can give them zero stars I would. Note: they are not ADA friendly. They did not care I was diabetic– still 30 minute wait even beyond the 30 min wait in line. There are other places outside the resort and other resorts like Fairmont that are ADA friendly. 5 stars go to Ululani our server who is fantastic!

Wow, everything is extremely overpriced. I’m not afraid to enjoy an expensive meal, but when no breakfast item is under $ 20, minus there joke of a yogurt parfait with no fresh HI fruits for $ 19. Then to order a 12 dollar bloody mary, that is Mr Ts and a mini bottle of nasty smirnoff vodka. I know this is a resort, but it is also twice as expensive as any breakfast place I’ve been to from east coast to the west, and from AK to HI. Unless money is no object, I would opt for one of the many other options within a short walk or drive. To top it all off, the service is subpar. It is in a buffet setting, so even if you are ordering their $ 24 benedict, you are still treated as if you should be getting your own things. Had to get our own water, had to ask several times for items ordered or requested when food was delivered. Never again.

Decided to drive all the way here to check out the buffet breakfast. $ 31 tax included per person. Typical spread of egg, sausage, bacon, cereal, bread, fruits and Asian server was chatty and friendly but wasn’t attentive to refills .bill also took forever. They validate parking as well.

My family and I love the big island breakfast. It is included in our vacation package so we eat breakfast here every morning during our stay. The staff is so nice and welcoming. Food is pretty good. I love the fried rice and omelet bar. My kids really enjoy it and we all look forward to starting our day there

Horrible, horrible, horrible. It’s a resort, so the price is outrageous. But there’s nothing I hate more than soggy scrambled eggs. At 7AM, the omelette line was already 10 deep. And I refuse to stand in line after paying $ 29 a person. Unless you can eat $ 29 worth of food, skip this and go to the Hilton coffee shops. The coffee is better and they have sausage egg and cheese sandwiches which they can nuke. Less than half the price of the buffet.

The big breakfast had a lot of variety to choose from. From made to order eggs to fresh salad and fruits. And yes authentic Hawaiian Pineapple of course. Staff is somewhat friendly most are just hearding cows. So 3 stars for food but service is less than exemplary.

The Big Island Breakfast. Pricey, yet satisfying. My family and I are on vacation. A total of 5 people. Good food, staff is pretty friendly, and overall pretty clean. They’re oatmeal and the monkey bread was so yummy! It could get pretty busy around 9 am. Lots of kids and families. If you want a more quieter or calmer experience, come in around 7 am when they open.

Oh boy! I think out of all the expensive places on the property this was the only place I felt like I had gotten my monies worth! Also try the breakfast rice over by the fruit selection! Its to die for! Moooooooohahahaha

The employees are Really nice people and the service was terrific! As for the food: Not a great Buffett and totally over priced. If you’re going to go, go to the omelet bar. It looked better than anything else there. We got the Buffett and were very disappointed.

Expensive. Loco Moco was $ 24.00. Breakfast Buffet was $ 29.00. Loco Moco took a long time to be served. No spam on the menu or buffet. :-/Buffet had a nice selection of fruit including papaya. Breakfast meats included bacon, sausage and Portuguese sausage. Pancakes were delich. They had an omelet station that would cook you an omelet to order. Overall, I’d say the food was«okay»; not spectacular. The Loco Moco that I had at the Kona Airport restaurant was only $ 12.00 and much tastier.

It was perfect on the week day(Tuesday am) we first came but crazy on the weekend(our waitress didn’t check on us or bring coffee for a good 20 mins). Breakfast buffet made for a King or Queen, variety of meats(including fish), fruits, pastries(tropical versions) and juices. Something for everyone

Very expensive even with Hilton Honors vouchers. Watery eggs, long line at the omelette station; omelette was very good. Not worth the price. Take a car to Lava Java instead.

Staying at this resort you do not have many breakfast options but the Buffet here is actually pretty good. All of the food was fresh and was delicious. Of course being that is a buffet it is a little pricey. When I was there it was $ 24 but considering you are sitting in a tropical paradise resort on the water in Hawaii I would gladly pay to eat here again.

When you’re on vacation. expect to pay up. «Over priced» reviews are biased based on comparison to where you’re from. You are in Hawaii, everything is expensive here. Thoroughly, I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. It seems like Big Island breakfast is the only decent spot to get a good breakfast within the resort. I can’t complain… I had extraordinary service, the view from my table overlooked the lagoon/beach/waterfall. and their food was the perfect amount of selection for a good breakfast. Now, I wouldn’t make this my go to breakfast spot if I was a local, however to make your experience as a visitor worthwhile, Big Island Breakfast is definitely one of them.

Decent breakfast spot inside of the Hilton with an expansive buffet and omelette bar. The staff was professional, and the operation seemed organized. The omelets were average quality, along with many of the other standard breakfast items. The sausages were way overcooked, and quality control was lacking in certain areas. My favorite part about the buffet was definitely the large slices of Hawaiian papaya and lime. Nothing special and certainly expensive, but it gets the job done.
