How do you like YOUR balls? Do you suck them Salty balls? Do you bite those Blue balls? How do you finish your Flaky balls? Thank goodness there are no hairy balls! This novelty chocolate and coffee store in the Queens marketplace will surely put a smile on your face. The samples of dingleberries, donkey droppings or plain balls are a nice touch but will make you want to buy something. If you stop by this place you can’t help but to buy a bag of HALFASSBALLS for your friends/family. There are locations in Kona and Kealakekua but this is the«outlet» store(whatever that means, it’s not cheap). Get your ass down here for some delicious donkey balls!

This is a fun stop! Free samples, staff is happy to open any bags if there’s something you want to try that’s not out.

Stopped here after my sister recommended coming in for a good laugh. The owner, Todd, was super nice and let us sample all his chocolaty balls that we were interested, even going so far as to open bags of the ones that weren’t already opened to sample. The store name itself is a hoot, but the different chocolate balls names are even more tummy pokin’ good times! Donkey Balls are basically macadamia nuts covered in chocolate, and they don’t scrimp on the size of their nuts either!(No pun intended! Lol) Various flavors: Milk Chocolate Salty Balls: Milk Choc Donkey Balls dusted in finely ground Hawaiian Sea Salt — also available in Dark Salty Balls Half Ass Balls: 25 layers of milk chocolate and 25 layers of dark chocolate Frosted Ass Balls: Dark Choc Donkey Balls covered in confectioner’s sugar Balls of Fire!: Milk Choc Donkey Balls infused with Cayenne Dirty Balls: Milk Choc Donkey Balls covered in a tasty powdered cocoa Dingleberries: Fresh fruit(Strawberries, blueberry, coconut, pineapple) covered in chocolate — Blueberry is our favorite! Flaky Balls: Milk Choc Donkey Balls covered with toasted coconut shavings Macadamia Nut Clusters Toffee covered Donkey Balls — these are delicious too.(They should call them«Crusty Balls»). lol We walked out of there with pretty much a bag of each flavor, 2 double-paned cups, a shirt for the Canadian and a tank top for me. That little Keoki the Donkey character is too cute and a great conversation starter!!! lol Thought the prices are a bit steep but I compared the insides of a Caramel Cluster from Donkey Balls vs Moana Loa and the picture speaks for itself. Donkey Balls uses whole/big chunks of macadamia nuts for their caramel clusters whereas Moana Loa uses bits and pieces. See for yourself in my picture comparison attached. Treat yourself to a bag of Caramel Donkey Balls and give the Moana Loa ones as gifts. Hee hee hee. Go get you some tasty Donkey Balls! We double donkey are you!

What a fun shop. We were on a shuttle bus on our way to Ocean Sports for a Sunset Cocktail Cruise… it pulled up to a mall where a couple of us got off to buy tickets for our group. I was inside the bus and peered out the window and saw the words«Donkey Balls» before another second I was jumping out of my seat and and running into the store for quickie… I was in such a hurry that I only picked up 3 bags: 1 bag of Blue Balls and 2 bags of Dingleberries and had the cashier rattled up math wise because I was rushing him so much… poor guy. I just rounded up and left him a few extra cents and was out the door and onto the bus where everyone was shouting at me to hurry. I opened a bag of the Dingleberries(chocolate covered strawberries) to share with everyone on our small shuttlebus and they were a hit. The highlight is that I had to explain to the Groom’s grandmother what a Dingleberry was… I was more than happy to do it because I had some liquid courage. I had a little traveler on me(a little Chardonnay). Great memories and these make a great gift. Store is organized and friendly man behind the counter.

I treat myself to some salty balls, dark chocolate donkey balls as often as I can. Every time I have gone to visit Donkey Balls, it has been a fabulous experience. The store is always clean and tidy. Very welcoming, and I am always greeted with a free sample when I walk in to the door. So, I don’t actually have a favorite because I absolutely love them all, to the courtesy of Todd. Todd is the owner of the shop, What an amazing guy he is. He speaks to you like you are part of the family. As if he has known you forever. What a funny guy. I recommended that everyone should have the opportunity to visit Donkey Balls at Waikoloa, and ask for Todd. Chiquita

We bought a bag of dark chocolate donkey balls which were really tasty!(Definitely have to try one.) On our way out of the store, I asked the guy if he knew where I could buy a USB connector for my camera because I had left it at home… then what does he do? he just gives me an extra one he has in his drawer. *shock* I would have paid him, but he just gave it to us. Super nice guy! You never experience things like that on the mainland. :) I just saw on Unilocal, that the guy is the owner, Todd. Thanks, Todd!

We bought a few while we were on the island and brought them home. They are delicious. They take whole macadamia nuts and cover them in chocolate. The joke is that they have blue balls and salty balls with a big inflatable donkey outside(some locations). This is a place definitely worth visiting. Unfortunately, there stock is just some chocolate balls and some novelties(T-shirts, etc.).
