Stopped by here with some friends while vacationing in Maui. Just a really nice place for a drink and food. Nice view. Good staff. I would definitely go again.

One of the best places to grab a drink after a long day or a chill place to grab a drink to end a good one. Food is served until midnight! You can get chips and dip, machos, chicken tenders and bar food. You can either sit inside or out, depending how big your party is. Prices are comparable so you can enjoy a few without going for broke. I enjoy a good chandy-beer and Sprite duo, or drafts for $ 5. The bartenders are great, especially for guests who tend to split checks. Guilty on some occasions. I wanted to order a blended margarita with a hint Iilikoi, which they didn’t have. But, they suggested some other drink that was just as perfect. It’s Maui, so best believe this place cuts you off at 1:30. Maui law, so that’s okay! Sometimes they have private events and close the bar.

This was my first time at Mulligans and I was excited to try it out. Located in stunning Wailea on the golf course with the sunset just off in the distance. There’s lots of parking and the grounds are beautiful. Friday night was buzzing with folks out and about and ready for some grub. There was local music(Soul Kitchen) setting up to play. There was plenty of seating available for dinner which was really nice. We were seated close so we could watch while we ate. The food was good… Potato Leek Soup and a spinach salad with grilled shrimp really hit the spot. I literally wanted to lick the bowl… but I know my limits of eating in public. I was not crazy about the bread that we paid extra to have with our soup. It was dark bread and super dry. But I mopped up my soup with it and made it work. The vibe at Mulligans is really fun and diverse. Both locals and tourists seemed to be having a really good time. Food was tasty, the staff was pleasant and the view/music was wonderful.

This was a very enjoyable place to have lunch and cocktails. Great view, good food, an accommodating bartender(«anything is possible») and most of all a delightful server. She was a very down to earth wonderful young person actually from Ireland and there working for a couple months to afford her visit to Maui. Very adventurous in life and well grounded. It is pretty amazing how much good people make a restaurant!

Great family dining with outdoor seating and lovely waitstaff. Hands down best mud pie dessert I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. But the main course Mahi-Mahi was absolutely amazing. Tender full of flavor not over done in anyway. The atmosphere, menu, not to mention prices are all very impressive.

My friends and I dined at mulligans on a Wednesday night after reading some decent reviews and deciding to give it a try. When we arrived there was some sort of private event going on in the main dining area with a live band so we had to sit at the bar, which was fine with us. The bartender who served us was very nice and efficient, he gave good recommendations and was attentive. Probably the thing that shocked me most of all was the prices– they are actually reasonable! Honestly after getting bent over by every restaurant in Maui the prices on food and drinks were a breath of fresh air. I had the Asian BBQ pork ribs on the bartenders recommendation and a Maui wheat beer. The beer was ice cold and delicious, and unfortunately so were the pork ribs. I was too hungry to send it back but honestly the ribs were colder than room temperature. We wondered if we got the leftovers from the private party next to us, quite honestly. The live band was separated from the bar area by a curtain, though if I had my way it would have been double-paned soundproof glass. What the band lacked in musical talent they made up for in loudness– I had to lean in to the bartender a foot from me to hear him. As if that wasn’t bad enough, when the party finally let out a few of the older patrons decided to sing their own rendition of «Danny boy» loudly so I could recreate the experience I already didn’t enjoy, but with even less musical ability. Overall, however, I was impressed with the food and the value of this restaurant– I’m aware this isn’t the typical dining experience there so I’m being a littler nicer with my rating. However, you can’t serve cold meat to me and expect 5 stars. Bottom line: good prices, good food, good service– but beware of the night you go, plan ahead lest you suffer the same fate as us.

Enjoyed the music of Soul Kitchen while eating. …good selection of music and lots of people dancing. I liked the corned beef and cabbage but my husband said the shepherds pie needed more veggies. Service was good and we look forward to coming back to hear jazz on Thursdays. Nice place and great outdoor patio.

My husband & I came here to watch a televised fight and were impressed with how well our waitress, Alina, treated us. She constantly checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Plus, the food was delicious.

Had a few drinks here during an NFL game while on vacation. Cool bartender from Cincinnati, strong drinks, much better prices than any of the resorts. Try the Mai Tai.

Wanted to find a place for live music during our trip to Maui. I had done some research ahead of time and discovered Soul Kitchen was playing here on Friday evening. We decided to give it a go. It was a typical Irish Pub atmosphere with live music and several tv’s. We sat right outside of where the band was playing. The band sounded good and the patrons inside the bar were dancing to every song and seemed to be having a great time. We stayed for their first set and it provided nice dinner music. I had the Irish Stew, a lamb stew with a thick Guinness enhanced broth. It was tasty; however, I do wish there were more veggies. I had 1 carrot and maybe 2 onions. Basically it was a bowl of tender lamb, gravy and a scoop of mashed potatoes. It was very flavorful and hearty but I definitely missed more veggies. Service was okay. It wasn’t exceptional but I have definitely had much worse. We did have one member of our party that just could not get his water refilled for anything. Others at the table would get refills without asking yet he was somehow always skipped. It became the joke of the evening. Finally we had to ask for him to get more water. Of all the places we ate while on Maui I am not sure this is one that I would choose to return to. Possibly on a Sunday to watch some football, I think it would probably be a great place for that.

November 20, 2015 Friday — 8:15PM for dinner 4 adults Atmosphere — 4 star Food — 3 stars Service — 4 stars Background — My wife found a band online and they were performing at Mulligans. Atmosphere — It is a small place with most of the seating outside, normally not a big deal but tonight there were light sprinkles. Nothing to ruin the night. The crowd seemed much older than us for. Food — Drinks — Kilkenny Irish Draught which is a cream ale, it was okay. Meal — I had the corn beef, dry and bland is the best way to describe it. Service — I went to bar to verify what Kilkenny they had on tap, there are several types. It was the one I thought and the bartender saw my interest and gave me a sample to go back to the table. The rest of the staff was good. Future — Probably not.

Stopped by for a quick bite after a long day at a nearby beach. This place is really nicely decorated and I loved the lighting both inside and out. My husband and I sat at the bar and enjoyed some beers and chicken wings. The price was very affordable and the wings were delicious! Stop here for live music, great drinks and good prices!

We found this spot to watch some NFL games on our first Sunday. It’s a great environment to watch a game — lots of TVs and really fun people. The service was fantastic, and that was with only one server on the floor. We both had the fish and chips. It was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The fish was mahimahi and was fantastic! The fries were thick steak fries and were delightful! They had drink specials, so I had a Bloody Mary. The drink was fantastic. We also chased the meal with an ice cream pie for dessert. We will definitely be back. It’s a great find!

I love my mulligans! Great Mai tais! Love Chris and Ryan! Ask Ryan for an Amy Burger. All others, you will have to ask them for the pineapple salsa on top of your burger. Yummmm! Willie k is great also. I miss the fabulous staff here though! Let’s get the Amy Burger on the menus!!!

This place is what you would expect of an Irish pub in Hawaii… Great for families, but not ideal for a nice island experience. Bar food was pretty good(4* for pub) as I enjoyed a steak and lobster tail. Lots of good drink options off their extensive cocktail menu. Fun on a Tuesday evening when they had live music, although an uncomfortably empty dining experience.

Came here for dinner so because it was 10 minutes drive from Makena resort and we just wanted to do something low key. Mulligan’s is right by the Wailea Blue Golf course, they have outdoor and indoor seating. We went pretty late so it was dark but we still wanted to enjoy the warm weather so we sat outside. The server was great, we had the ribs and the fish and chips. Food I would say is above average. There was live entertainment when we had dinner, it was really noisy and there was a large party inside but we were still able to have conversation since we sat outside. Prices are pretty decent for a pub type restaurant. We parked in the designated parking for free. This was only 5 minutes away from our resort so I think if your hotel is in the area see if they offer a shuttle service!
