Holy Mai Tais batman! Order one of the large ones at happy hour and you won’t be disappointed. I think it was $ 7.50 for this beastie of boozy drink and I have no complaints. Watch the sun set with live music and a fun crowd.

Went here after a friend of mine insisted that they have great lava flows. Went on there Taco Tuesday where tacos are $ 1. It was so loud in there that I didn’t hear the waitress say that soft tacos cost $ 2 instead of $ 1. I know not a huge difference but it pissed me off! These are Taco Bell quality tacos! My lava flow was $ 8 during happy hour and tasted more like a smoothie. Inside was a mix of drunk/scuzzy locals and Canadians(I can tell Canadians from Americans easily). Waitress was okay but looked bored. Should have gone to the Tiki Place.

2 years ago this was my favorite place in Kihei this last time will be my last time going there! Waitress didn’t put in my wife’s food at all service was slow and extremely loud not music either just a bunch of drunk guys yelling and screaming seems as if it’s just a local watering hole now instead of a place to have a drink and food for people on there vacation ! Guess every town has a place like this but not what I am looking for on vacation

Awesome bar. My only complaint is that the kitchen closed at 10pm. How are you going to have a bar that opens till 2am but the kitchen closes at 10pm. Huge fail. Drunk people need food.

Great local spot in Maui. It’s a great little village full of dive bars. Located about 10 minutes from Wailea via car and has great drink prices and nightlife if you want to do a little bit bar hopping. It’s not fancy by any means, very Hawaiian casual. There’s live music here every night and a pool table. Otherwise, it’s your typical local dive with outdated décor.

If you want to hang with the locals in a completely unpretentious setting, this is your kind of place. The service was great, we had to send back the first basket of cold, greasy chips and were delighted with the hot, fresh replacement. I was told the quac was quite good… I’ll have to take the wife’s word on it as I am not a fan. I had the chile verde and man it was quite tasty… Tender, seasoned bits of pork in a well balanced sauce with rice(yeah, I know, it’s weird to eat Mexican food and not like the beans, what can I say. The wife had an ok burrito… Not the fish and chips she had hoped for. The local talent was being amplified way too loud for our tastes. Unpretentious is, at least in this case, code for dive.

Cool place but non-locals not welcome and barely served. It’s cheap and the karaōke is entertaining but don’t expect to be waited on. We sat on the patio that had a waitress but she never checked on us, not once so we ordered at the bar. When my fiancé was at the bar, a guy and two of his friends cut in front of him and said«must suck to be a tourist». I’d recommend going there just to piss off the locals cause reviews like this are exactly what they want so other ‘tourists’ don’t show up. I’ve been to lots of non-local places in Kehei and they’ve all been welcoming, this place not so much the case.

The beer was good but the service was terrible. We came in and sat down but I couldn’t figure out if the bar had table service or not. Finally the waitress came and took our order. We ordered two beers which should be relatively easy to make but all the other tables that came in after us got served first. With cocktails no less. Do yourself a favor and head to the tiki lounge instead. they have good pizza there too. Getting the check was horrible too. We had to mention it s couple of times before we got it.

Fun local joint with kereoke or a live band. Drinks are too sweet and too weak but happy hour drinks are $ 2.50 so u get what you pay for. Food typical bar grub. $ 5LUNCH Specials are good. Dog friendly and the servers are awesome

Decent place. Friendly locals except for the lady running the Karaōke. She was rude. Good service and prices.

DONTCOMEHEREUNLESSYOUARE A LOCAL! Sat at a table for 15 minutes and didn’t even get greeted. I was just wearing a black casual maxi dress but guessing from all the dirty looks we weren’t too welcomed. Ended up leaving without even talking to a waitress. Pathetic.

Went there on a fri night. Didn’t start to really get crowded until after 9. They had a band playing which was nice. Seems there were people of all ages there but mostly a younger crowd. Mixed drinks were good. Just wish there was a little bit more seating since the place does fill up.

We ended our bar hopping night here. ATMOSPHERE: They’re located at the north end of the Kihei Kalama Village triangle. The spacious and airy bar is thankfully air conditioned. There’s outdoor seating, a pool table, big bar, stage, and the tables are spread out and not crammed. FOOD: I didn’t see a menu but they do serve food. And the infamous popcorn machine seems to have a theme in this alcohol-driven section of Kihei. BEVERAGE: The beers were priced below average at around $ 4 for domestic drafts. SERVICE: The bartenders were friendly and table clean up was fast. ENTERTAINMENT: They had a live band on Thursday night and I’m sure they have one every night though I didn’t see a schedule. OVERALL: Nice place to relax in cool comfort with cheap beer and free live bands.

We were here twice during our stay in Kihei. The first night was karaōke night and there were lots of drunk/half naked girls«singing» rap songs. Ok. I guess that should be expected. The drinks were HELLAWEAK!!! I mean SERIOUSLY watered down… I had two long island iced teas and didn’t even feel it. Like CRAZY watered down. after closing there was almost a fight amongst some of the local folks. Still…we came back the next night. Mostly because it was stumbling distance from our room and the other places were pretty empty. the next night was open mic. Lot fewer people but it was open mic night. they had a pretty good house band and some good singers come up. Played pool again and saw a couple of the same locals. Again, watery assed drinks but a much better atmosphere. it was ok. I guess I’d come back if I had to but only because the night life in Maui is shite. Oh! I did meet a cool girl from CA who had lived in Maui for a few years… she told us the cool places to go that only the locals know about. She was super cool and probably the highlight of this place.

Their happy hour Mai Tai’s almost killed me. So cheap(~$ 7), so tasty(dark rum?- you bet), so big(one whole Liter). I felt like HELL the next day. We caught a football game there on a Sunday afternoon and had a great time. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze– but could still watch the big screen inside. This place attracts a nice mix of locals and tourists. It’s worth a visit if you’re looking for a cheap & tasty drink in Kihei.

Where does one go in Maui if they want to listen to really bad singers and drink really cheap drinks? Life’s A Beach!!! The place is big and loud. They have Karaōke! Not sure if it is every night but on the consecutive nights that I stopped by they did. The singers were, well… auful! Isn’t that what you want from Karaōke? I think what impressed me was that the bartenders both nights were awesome, the kind of people you would want to come back and and visit again!

Review based on its nightlife scene, only! Seemingly, a local guys’ bar. A pretty small venue with the stage, tiny dance area, and pool table taking up most of the room. There are a few tables towards the back if you want to sit… although most guys seem to just stand around. There’s usually a live band on weekend nights, which drowns out any conversation you might want to have. The guy to girl ratio is probably something like 4:1 so good for the ladies, if you’re into man hunting. With so many guys, I can see how it would be easy for fist fights to ensue. Overall impression is just pretty dirty, unclassy, and LOUD. I’d much rather go elsewhere in the Triangle, but it seems to be a popular pit stop in the Kihei«bar hop» scene. + Free chips and salsa with Unilocal check-in…although if you’re going when most of Maui goes, you probably won’t be able to redeem it as the kitchen closes early.
