no longer in business. permenantly closed. why dont they remove this from the site⁉⁉⁉. (was my favorite pizza anywhere on earth!!!)

Major bummer… closed for renovations. Unilocal needs to figure out a way to temporarily put «closed» on a site so you don’t go out of your way to that place for lunch (and wake up sleeping kids to get there). Maybe I just haven’t figured out how to do it myself.

LOVE this little place! Food is delicious and they have a great happy hour. The artichoke appetizer is fantastic and they have creative pizza combinations. You must try the Maui Mushroom pizza. Excellent!
If you visit, I hope you are fortunate to get Theora to wait on you. What a gem they have in her! We came back during our visit just to see her!

Great pizza! First recommended by a ten-​year-​old kid at the B&B during our trip a few months earlier. He said it was better than Flatbreads, although I think they are equally awesome, just different. Good ingredients, tasty, and arrived in good time.
The four of us each got a different 6-​inch: pepperoni, BBQ chicken, kahlua pig and pineapple, and chicken meatball. All were awesome. The server was super friendly and attentive. Tables were big and clean, and the local art on the walls was fun. Nothing negative to say. On our list for a return visit the next time we spend a weekend on Maui.

This place is currently under construction and it breaks my heart because it is my favorite pizza place on the island! We go every couple of days, and didn’t even get a warning. Had to settle for Beach Bums instead. Anyways, the pizza is delicious! And the Pan-​fried artichokes are amazing. They use great local ingredients, and support local farms, so everything is extra fresh and not from Costco. I myself love the BBQ chicken Pizza, and my wife likes the Pesto. Lots of pizzas to choose from. There is a little play area that my two year old can play on, with whales and stuff. There aren’t many places to take kids on the island, if any, besides this one. We always sit outside (bring a coat, it can get windy in the afternoon) and let the daughter play while we eat. I hope it reopens soon!

Food gets 5 stars, we had the pepperoni, bbq chicken and Hawaiian style pizzas. All delicious, but the place smelled like a bar after closing time and the beer was barely cold. Made me want to order take out not sit in.

Seriously the best pizza on Maui that is not NY style. Fresh produce, great ingredients and great bistro style wines at $ 30 and under for a bottle! holy smokes this place is superb! My only gripe is our red wine was room temperature and it would been better slightly chilled. But hey service was solid and the waiter was the same person who waited on us at Saltimbocco the next door crappy Italian Restaurant. He said he quit their and joined Porto.
This by far is an Excellent eatery with solid Pizza, salads and pasta! Enjoy!

Nice place, good location, pizza was good! After our molokini snorkeling tour we went across the road looking for something to eat, Portos is quite hidden as Its above other restaurants and shops, i found it on Unilocal so I asked around and finally found it! The service is good, we didn’t have to wait long at all, the pizza was very fresh, I got half pepperoni and half roasted maui vegetables, it was really good! Would come here again!

After my second-​to-​last visit, I would have given Porto five stars. Everything we had was great. The salads, the pizza — yum! I went there with a friend this week and it was still good but not as good as I remembered. We both thought the salads were a little boring. And the pizza was very good, just not quite as good as the last two times I was there.
Don’t get me wrong, Porto is still a place I’d recommend, which I am doing now. The staff are always friendly and the service is good. And there’s nothing wrong with four stars!
Give Porto a try.

My last eval was about a year ago; pizza is still great and people there are super nice. We order the mista salad with balsamic and a large pizza split into half veggie w cheese and sausage, and the «meat lovers» finnpchio on the other side.

Came back for the pizza. Had the pepperoni, Maui mushroom, roasted vegetable and finocchio. All were good. Finocchio and Maui mushroom were excellent.

If you have young kids this is the a great place to go… They have outdoor seating and a small play area right in front. So your kid/​s can run around and you can see them while they play and you wait for your order to come… not even the McDonald’s on Maui have playgrounds. Pizza is good, nothing to write home about but the service is friendly and casual and you get a nice view of ocean while sitting outdoors and having a small area for kids to play. It’s a good break from the typical restaurant scene… Oh and they have happy hour 3:30 — 5:30pm and all of their small 10″ pizzas are only $ 7! Their kids menu is reasonably priced too.

Very very very slow service… Pizza was okay… Totally disappointed. Not worth for the price and for the waiting time. And my beer was warm.

Good pizza places on the highway to Lahaina.
Staff was nice, but it is was a little hard to find. It is in the same parking lot as the Maui aquarium.
We split the large bbq chicken pizza for $ 23. It was really good and can feed 2 to 3 people.
In addition to pizza they had salad and sandwiches.

This place is located in the Ma’alaea harbor shops. Honestly it wouldn’t seem like there were any eateries in this area but along with a few other restaurants it was beyond the Pacific Whale Foundations retail store. We got the veggie pizza and chicken Alfredo pizza which were both satisfying. Food and service were good, but one needs to ponder why this shopping area looks like a ghost town.

The pesto pizza I got was a delight.
The music playlist was pretty awesome, only tunes I love.

Food was great, and service was awesome. I had the 6 inch pepperoni pizza and added mushrooms on top, and also got the lemonade which was amazing. Prices were reasonable. Would recommend!

This time, my blt pizza was sooooo oily! I did not enjoy it as before. Something was not right with that order.
My mom and son had the pepperoni pizza. It was ok, the crust was a little tough in some parts.
But oy. I ordered the lemonade and that too was so watery that I thought I was at another restaurant.
Did the owners change or something?
Don’t know if I’ll return for a 3^rd time.

Literally the worst. I ordered one sandwich and waited over 30 minutes for it. For a SANDWICH that never came. There were only two other tables, so it’s not like it was busy. The waitress eventually came up and said «someone else ate your sandwich» and pretty much asked me to leave.
So a long wait for food that never came, and rude service on top of that. Do not waste precious vacation time here.
