Excellent meal with the family. We went with pizza in mine but ended up with a panini sandwich, veggie lasgna, soup/salad combo and a antipasto/caprese salad as entrees. Service was very good. In the way out we bought a box of pastries to take home as we had no room for desert.

Hands down– the best kept secret Maui. All breads and pastries made on site. We had dinner and breakfast there. So reasonable!

What made our Fabiani’s experience so special was the tremendous hospitality complete with the mouth watering food, hitting the complete jackpot. My sister and I had split a Cesar salad and Lorenzo’s pizza that had a flavor combination so perfect, you’d think they had their own bakery to make the crust — oh wait they do! Mom enjoyed the Pene Rosa that had a flavorful and well blended meal that was light enough and didn’t make her over-full. Dad had a great experience with the spaghetti bolognese that was outstanding — a type of spaghetti that tasted as spaghetti should. Our family was visiting from Arizona for my little sisters wedding and were looking for a local gem to enjoy a family meal before the real celebrations kicked off and Fabiani’s provided just that. Thanks Fabiano family!

The place is clean, friendly and spacious with good service. We went there for breakfast and food also deserves 4 or 4.5 stars. They serve their original blend coffee from Maui Coffee Roasters, and they say that people can go there and buy the same blend under this restaurant name. Salmon benedict was great with a lot on the plate, and waffles were crispy and had nuts. We might come back to try their pizza next time.

You know a place must be great if you’re on vacation and you go there twice! Awesome house salad topped with candied macadamia nuts. Great, thin crust pizzas! Veggie lasagna is decadent and so yummy. Plus, the dessert case is irresistible and awesome.

We ate here last night. Very good selection on entrees all four of us had something different and all was good. Lasagna was excellent, pizza is personal size thin crust and the calzone was light but filling. All the crusts are made on site. Exceptional service and definitely a place to eat at again.

It’s hard to write something when you have something good in mind. I had the spaghetti bolognese. The pasta was cooked al dente. The sauce wasn’t the best. The meat had good flavor. I was just hungry and in no mood to go around for what I really wanted, lesson learned. The dessert was good just what I like for my desserts. It wasn’t sweet it was perfect. I had this champagne and mango thing in a lemon pudding.(Sorry didn’t memorize the name) In all the service was friendly and nice, but if you have cravings for a sea food pasta this isn’t the place for you.

Great restaurant. Reasonable prices with genuine Italian cuisine. The chef/owner Lorenzo is there all the time making sure the food and service stays top notch. I wasn’t overwhelmed with their scallop dish but the server told me it’s one of the favorites of their customers. The salads are fresh, clean, crispy and tasty. The pasta and homemade sauce is unbeatable at any price.(If they’re busy, there’s usually a seat at the bar where the menu is the same and the service is fast, personal and friendly.) And there should be a sixth star for the delicious homemade pastry the gourmet pastry chef makes fresh every night in their«secret, hidden» shop upstairs over the restaurant! Parking is easy and convenient and this restaurant is centrally located so you can shop for just about anything before or after you eat;(including two or three farmers’ markets within easy walking distance.)

Stopped here for dinner vacationing in Maui. Staff was very nice. Beat dinner rush and went around 5. Of course, had dessert first! Their macaroon display is amazing and they were so delicious. Pizza’s were basic, nothing like the reviews we read. Not bad, just not the best. The margarita pizza more resembled a cheese pizza! I recommend the bruschetta & caprese salad for flavor.

I’m updating our previous review after a less than great dining experience today. While the food was delicious, service was lacking. We are local and love this spot, usually we come for dinner so maybe it’s a bit different for lunch. It took a while to be greeted considering how it wasn’t busy, we were seated and no one took our drink or food order for 10 minutes though our waitress passed us multiple times and we had the menus put away. We noticed the specials were read to the table next to us but on ordering we were asked what we wanted without mention of anything else. The pizza was good just a little soggy in the middle. Empty waters weren’t filled up although the guy filled up the other table next to ours and walked by us. It was filled up after our food arrived. After finishing our meals we exited and were told, thanks have a great vacation. Weird to assume we’re on vacation considering we are local, have a nice day woulda been fine ;) This really is a good spot to eat, but little details in service were missing that probably won’t see us returning for a while.

This is, quite simply, my favorite restaurant. I’ve lived on Maui for about 5 years and nothing else has come close to perfection for me. Their pasta and calzones have been amazing. Best Italian food I’ve had outside of Italy. AND they serve breakfast(also amazing — try the Italian Eggs Benedict). Everyone loves breakfast. My chai latte was flawless. They also serve breakfast alcohol(hello mimosa!) which is always a nice option. And then there is the bakery… I can’t leave without a box of macaroons which I devour within five minutes. SO good!

One of the worst dining experiences that I’ve had. First, the food was terribly bland, I had the«special pasta of the night» which was a shrimp linguini that tasted like butter and salt. The service was even worse than the food though. No one came by to offer a refill of water, extra bread, grated cheese, nothing. I couldn’t even get anyone to take the check after I was finished — I ended up taking it upfront myself after about 20 minutes. Please do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here!

We were craving some pizza after a long day of taking in the island sights. We checked out Unilocal and decided on Fabiani’s. There were 4 adults in our party and we shared 3 pizza’s. We had the Fabiani, the Maui Meaty and the Quattro Stagione. All are 12″ thin crust pizza’s. DELICIOUS pizza-ness! Great crust with plenty of toppings. For dessert you go to the case to take a peak at what you would like. We sampled 6 macaroons. I will say that they were not the best macaroons that I have had as it is hard to get the texture just right; however, they were tasty. The lilikoi was my favorite flavor of the 6 we tried. Nice local pizza place. I would return again for sure.

November 18, 2015 Wednesday — 6:45PM for dinner 4 adults Atmosphere — 4 star Food — 4 stars Service — 4 stars Background — Long day on the road and craving Pizza, Unilocal to the rescue. Atmosphere — Part of a strip mall located in the corner. Long bar and lot of standard tables, what you would expect for a pizza place. Food — As a group we ordered three different pizza for the four us. The crust was excellent, just the right thickness for me. Toppings came as described. Service — Strange you they do not have a dessert menu, instead you have to look at the case and come back to your table to order your pastries order with the waitress. Future — Solid pizza here so I could see coming back in future.

I’ve eaten at Fabiani’s twice — once for lunch and once for breakfast and both times the food was amazing. Today we ordered a vegetable quiche and eggs Benedict, and the food was so delicious and flavorful. The quiche was the best I’ve ever had in my life. Positive: The food is always amazing and the desserts(especially the macarons) are so delicious. The service is also good — not exceptional, but good. Prices are also pretty reasonable. Negative: The restaurant isn’t the cleanest and it’s pretty warm inside(but it’s in Kihei so you can’t be too surprised about that.) Overall: I will continue to give my patronage to Fabiani’s, I just wish it was a little cleaner in the dining area.

We were in the area and felt like Italian for a change. Trusty Unilocal delivered again, and led us to a plaza where Fabiani’s is situated, so parking was not a challenge. The interior is very spacious simply decorated with photos of Italian exotic and classic cars hanging over the generous bar. The place is very well taken care of, it shows that the owners care. It’s a new place and has a pleasant ambiance. The menu offers Italian classics, salads and pizzas. We had the Fabiani pizza with added garlic. We started with a House Salad, a perfect portion for two; made with kula mixed greens, carrots, sliced cucumber, house lilikoi and vanilla bean vinaigrette, garnished with candied macadamia nuts. The pizza was thin, crispy and the dough was tasty as hell. The salami topping was lean and of high quality, as well as the mushrooms and Brie cheese. Very tasty combination with a healthy and light taste. For dessert I perused their dessert display and picked a beautiful Coconut Chocolate Macaroon, which was fantastic. The interior was soft but not oily and the dry chocolate was devine. Even though it was a simple dessert, they still served it on a plate and dressed it with whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. The service was pure family comfort, very pleasant and relaxed. The staff was very attentive and they made me feel special as a customer. There simply nothing to complain about, great food and amazing service.

I know I went in with a muted expectation. After all since when was Hawaii the Mecca for pizza? Or at least Maui in this case? Totally blew my mind! First of this place is very mellow. Almost sleepy. Definitely nothing jumping. Huge inside and the outside area for kids to play with their provided toy trucks are huge as well! We had the Fabiani’s 12 inch pizza with additional garlic and requested extra crunchy. Salami, mushroom and Brie cheese. Simple ingredients you would think. It was one of my best pizza to date. It’s not even cooked on a brick oven or wood fired or whatever else fancy. It’s just really awesome crust and sauce. The crust was crunchy and yet you can still fold the pizza for face stuffing:) The cannoli at $ 6 each is worth it. Get this! Authentic and the servers are super gracious. You are welcome once more! Lol!
