what: specialty retailer operating stores selling high-quality apparel and accessories for children. something good: buying presents for baby showers are the hardest gifts for me! so when in doubt, i always go to my nearest gymboree and buy all the cute things that they have! i never have a problem finding cute outfits/accessories for boys or girls in here and that’s why this is my go-to place ;) !! the outlet is especially great because everything is super cheap and you can buy double the cuteness! something not so good: love this place! something to try: cutie pie clothes!

Since my boys are out of this age range, the only reason i’ll be in this store is to find a gift for someone else. I really dont know what to think about this place. Everytime I go in there, I dont get any help from the sales people nor do they even ASK me if I need any help. If youre a guy, and walk into that store without a kid, im pretty sure that the guy will have questions or need some help… dont you think? Anyway, walked out of the store not buying anything. But the style just isnt«Hawaii»…so I passed.

This is a Gymboree outlet and if you’re a fan of their kids clothes then you’re going to really enjoy the deals that are to be found here. I found an assortment of t-shirts and shorts for my son and a few t-shirts and shorts for my daughter which ranged anywhere from $ 4.99-$ 9.99. But beware that if you’re really going to have to sift through a bunch of clothes in order to find those hidden gems. Although I really appreciate the discounts at this Gymboree, I don’t like that many of these items are mixed in with regular priced items. It’s pretty much my thrifty Mom policy that I never buy Gymboree clothing at regular price. There are display shelves that have signs which say $ 4.99 and up items but you have to search for the marked down items amongst things that are $ 12.99-$ 27.99. I just can’t bring myself to buy a dress for my daughter which costs just as much as an adult’s dress. She’s half my size, so everything should be half the price right? Find some great kids deals here for back to school but be sure to leave the kids at home because you’re got some hunting to do amongst the racks!

Oops there I go again with the camera. What is UP with places saying you can’t take pictures? If that’s the case, shouldn’t it be POSTED on the front door of the establishment… much like«no food, beverages, pets, strollers or anyone with a credit card debt»? I start taking pictures of Gymboree, one of my favorite places to shop for my son(and I must admit, for myself… cute kid’s jewelry ;-) and a sales lady comes up to me and says«excuse me, you can’t take photos in here. Its a federally mandated law for insider trading»…wha? You got me at «photos». Whatever. I told her if people can’t take photos, pls post on the front door. I ended up purchasing something for my son and the same salesperson who came up to me to chastise me ended up helping me. I guess she was just doing her job. I told her about Unilocal and we ended up talking about new places to eat/shop at the cash register. Prices at Gymboree outlet is more than The Children’s Place right across the shopping center, but they have more trendy-type outfits and accessories. I will be coming back but I’ll make sure to nix the camera next time.
