Due to the employees and owner of this place, I got charged more than what it was suppose to be. I only had about $ 9 bucks in my account. The worker didn’t know how to use the credit card machine, so asked the owner who looked at the cash register which clearly said«change $ 14.09» He proceeded to charge me 14.09 versus 7.26. Guess who’s out of $ 30 from my own pocket due to the carelessness of the employees and owner! NEGATIVE! Stay away!

One day I walked in to Don Quijote and thought I just want lunch quick so Panda Express it is. To my surprise, Mandarin Chef took over Panda Express. I go over and am relieved to see that they still offer the same food choices as Panda’s. The Minute Chicken I ordered tasted like the standard Chinese restaurant fare and the fried rice wasn’t oily. I also bought a dim sum bento to share with my husband. The bento came with two pork hash, one shrimp thingy, one pork with water chestnut thingy, one thingy with rice, and this one thing that was like a mini manapua. The dim sum bento was okay, but I only really liked the pork hash. Pretty much if you’re in the mood for quick Chinese food, Mandarin Chef seems to be an okay replacement from Panda’s.

This new restaurant sits inside Don Quijote, and resides in the back of the food court where Panda Express used to be. They specialize in mandarin food, similar to Panda Express and also have various dim sum throughout the day. Dim sum is good, but pricey. They charge $ 1.25 each item or a bento box with seven pieces for $ 7.50.
