McDonald’s

McDonald’s Waikele has to be the best McDonald’s on the island. The level of customer service is outstanding and the food quality is consistently good.
I went in to order and was impressed as usual. Crew member TERESITA is the best! She always has a welcoming smile and is so nice. I was impressed to see manager MARIA quickly open a register just as the crowd started to get larger. Awesome team work!
Another McDonald’s near Okinawan Center should really take lessons in customer service and food preparation from McDonald’s Waikele. The McDonald’s near Okinawan Center is horrible.
Thank you, TERESITA and MARIA and all the other wonderful employees at McDonald’s Waikele for consistently providing outstanding customer service and quality food. Your restaurant should be the example to all other McDonald’s. You all are doing a fantastic job and please keep up the great work!

This McDonald’s has always had fresh fries every time we’ve come here.
Today the drive-​through was empty and fast. Sometimes there’s a line, but like I said, the fries are hot and fresh.
We ordered a Happy meal with chicken nuggets, and a McChicken sandwich, but when we rolled out of the drive-​through we realized there was no chicken Mcnuggets! We had a laugh, but now I understand why there were so many bad reviews.
The drive-​through was empty. There were no cars in line, so they weren’t so busy that that’s why they missed it.
But the lady inside was nice, apologized, and gave us a free small fries.
Just a tip: check your bag (s) before you drive away from any drive-​through.

Slow service and worked hardly speak English. On a good day you can wait up to 15 min in the drive through. I’m actually sitting in the drive-​through and I’ve been here for 15 minutes and I’m at the second window. The lady that can barely speak English told me I’m waiting for the meet. McDonald’s needs to make sure they hire people that can speak English communicate English this is America not the Philippines.

Most of the employees are scums. Redeemed a free Happy Meal voucher one time and the McDonald’s employee was like that I can only choose one in that coupon. That idiotic employee was showing her stupidity and it was very annoying before she realized it was a Happy Meal coupon. Stupid! Then another time I was redeeming another Happy Meal coupon. Only the restaurant managers are allowed to enter the voucher. So the cashier tried calling both managers a bunch of times but neither manager paid attention and wasted my time. By the way, compared to other McDonald’s locations, this is the slowest and incompetant one.

The employees here were so rude, not the mention, the one who refused to honor my discount card, who was a manager! Although my card had the address of their store on it, she refused it, and told me to go to Salt Lake McDonalds! No explanation of why I should go to Salt Lake McDonalds given. No offer to investigate or find out what the problem was. She just refused, and told me to go to another McDonalds. And, to make it worse, she kept interrupting me, and wouldn’t let me speak! Could not be any more evident that they do not value customers at this place!

The absolutely slowest McDonald’s I’ve ever seen, anywhere in the world. I ordered a McFlurry and 2 apple pies. It took 37 minutes to get to the second window to pick up my food. They said apple pies were 7 minutes, I guess she meant 7 more minutes before they were done. Asked if I wanted Haupia. If I wanted Haupia I would of ordered it.
The McFlurry wasn’t mixed,
Completely slow and incompetent, no matter what time of day or night.

Tight area going through the drive thru. Fries were overlooked and they gave me iced coffee instead of iced mocha. Local dude handing out orders is super friendly!

Went to their drive through today (August 30^th @ 11:43)
The closing workers were horrible & taking their slow ass time.
We literally waited 5 – 10 minutes. While waiting for our food we were able to see the pace the workers were going at.
They were so slow & drinking, doing other things rather than making our order.
Along with being able to see through the window they left our order on the counter for a good 5 minutes while we just sat there. After, what felt like forever, they finally decided to give us our damn food. I usually go to this McDonald’s no complains but for those two closing workers today (August 30^th @ 11ish) you guys should find better replacements to replace them.

Another McDonald’s on the island except this place is always busy and packed!!! Right in the hot spot of the Waikele Outlets and shopping center. Parking is competitive literally! Two different intersections leading to a busy four-​way by McDonald’s very small parking lot. I’ve only had a chocolate chip frappé so I’m not sure about the food. Service is decent. If you’re looking to study or school stuff it’s all right but no outlets! Too bad because the Starbucks next door is always too busy to enjoy or relax.

Seriously without a doubt THE WORST McDonalds I have ever been to. & I’m talking about more than just one time! You may think «why do you keep going to that McDonalds?» Well because it is practically across the street from my house but trust & believe from now on I will drive the extra 3 miles to the next McDonalds or else I’ll just go to Jack In the Box.
They’re extremely slow. They’ve messed up my order more times than they’ve gotten it right & every time I complain they act as if I’m inconveniencing them. How dare I expect them to do their job correctly the first time!
I don’t doubt that their job is hard but they’ve been delivering bad service for a while now. It’s time to step it up people of Waikele McDonalds! Come on now!
Btw if there’s a line out of this McDonalds it’s not because they have the best fries in town or whatever. It’s because they’re slow AF!

This place sucks! Twice in less then a month they messed up the order.
The first visit I wanted to use a coupon which was for a buy one get one free sandwich. I wanted to upgrade but the cashier told me I could only upgrade one meal. When I questioned her more she never explained that reason but instead rang me up for two meals. I WIN… or do I. I also ask to have the shaker fries but when my order came… no shaker stuff.
The second visit I had wanted to do the same as the last time I ordered. My sandwich was suoposed to be a double fish filet but I noticed the cashier who was also a manager only punched in a regular filet o fish. When I questioned her to make sure it was double… she stated yes. On top of that she didnt uograde both sandwiches to meals. When I got the order we only got filet o fish… no double. On top of that no shaker fries… AGAIN. lucky the other half was there cause if not I would have gone off on them. Next timewe will visit another location. They need some serious training in custoner service and getting ur order right.

I kid you not, there has never been a time when I’ve been here and got my order 100% correct. I went to the drive-​thru and ordered a big breakfast. That’s suppose to come with a biscuit, sausage patty, scrambled eggs, hotcakes, and a hash brown. The lady handed me my bag and good thing I double checked because there was only a biscuit on my plate, literally. I can understand if you remember everything else but forgot the biscuit but seriously? Moral of the story, always double check your order cause some of the employees sure don’t.

The cashiers inside seem inexperienced. The line is always long. The drive thru cashiers are way more quick and friendly

I live in Waikele. I’d say 7 times out of 10, I would instead drive to the Mcd’s in neighboring Waipio Gentry to save myself the aggravation. I don’t post often, but today, I just had to. This morning was the 2^nd time I’ve reversed out of their driveway… it’s that bad. I have better things to do with my time and better Mcd’s to spend my money at! Wish I had an option to choose Zero stars.

After a long journey of shopping. McDonald’s sits in the perfect place so you can walk over and grab a quick snack to get your holiday shopping back into gear!

Ordered drive thru so I could have my orders right Away. Yes, the service was fast but ended up having to go back in the restaurant because they did not give my correct order!

Worst McDs ever… picture says it all… paid $ 6 for this… they really needs to hire employees with common sense.

This is the worst McDonalds drive-​thru EVER!!!
They consistently forget items in my order.
On Tues night, we did the drive-​thru and ordered a cheeseburger Happy Meal for my daughter… when we got home, there was NO MEAT in the cheeseburger… WTF…NO MEAT… it was 2 buns, cheese, and a pickle… how the «F» do you forget the meat???
Today, I did the drive-​thru again… ordered a 10-​piece McNugget w/​BBQ sauce… when I got home… no sauce… WTF!!!
I have other countless incidences with THIS particular McDonalds… like I order DIET Coke… and they give me REGULAR Coke… I can taste the difference!!!
When I order a Big Breakfast… they forget the hash browns!!! WTF???
It’s also the SLOWEST ever drive-thru…once we had to wait 30mins just to get our food inching our way to the pickup window… WTF!!!
NEVER going to patronize this place again!!!
My suggestion… go to Waipio McDonalds… WAY better service… and they don’t forget stuff in your order.

Omg terrible! Waited 20 mins for a bacon egg cheese biscuit and guess what? Never got it right three times! First they give me a sausage biscuit then waited again and got a egg and cheese biscuit no bacon, then finally the correct one! Wow my day is ruined thanks MCD! Manager there was extremely rude and condensending while they are the ones making the mistake. Hey if you don’t like your job quit b**ch!

This by far is the worst McDonald’s ever. Why it even has the golden arch is beyond me. This place should be shut down. It’s in the middle of the waikele shopping center where all the tourist can go to and receive horrible service.
Every time I come here the service is bad. I only come here once in a blue moon because i’m usually in a rush and its close to the house. The management staff Ida joke and is just as bad as the workers.
Don’t bother coming here. Drive a few miles away and go to the one in waipio where they give you good service and don’t mess up on your order. This place deserves negative stars but that’s not a option on here.
