Walked in at 505pm, crowded as usual but no complaints on that. Placed my order with the girl at register who was super cool. Waited 30 min and realized everyone behind me got their drinks and they didn’t even start on my Kona reserve. Got my refund and left. Super bummed but on a positive side it helps me stop spending outrageous amounts of money at Starbucks and to go home and French press my own.

My GO-TO place to study and grab coffee. The best time to come here is during the day. Most people come and go, so more tables become available. The worst time to come is at night, when most of the tables are occupied, and the place is crowded. I do like this location the most just because it’s closer to home, and the staff here are friendly.

Came here around 9am before I headed to work for my morning coffee and breakfast. There was a line but it moved quite well. EXCELLENT customer service. I was greeted and asked how my day was. The batista who was making drinks and calling out names was FABULOUS. She had blonde hair, a loud voice and personality. I wish I got her name! I remember her taking to a girl saying she loves her hair but didn’t want to always die her roots lol so whoever you are keep it up!

Items are overpriced. Employees are incompetant. They gave me the wrong order and declined the fact. They don’t even ask name for the drink. They are not even courteous.

I’m surprised by the 3-star rating. This is our neighborhood Starbucks and we love it. The baristas are all great and friendly. I’ve never had any issue here with them being out of a drink or food, and they always have fresh coffee(I worked at a Starbucks for years and I know how tough it is to constantly be brewing fresh batches like clockwork). The only reason I won’t give them a 5-star review is because they lack the comfortable vibe that a lot of my favorite Starbucks stores have. There are no big couches and there are few tables inside in general. Other than the seating situation, this is a great store. They’re located walking distance from Waikele Premium Outlets and a bunch of other stores such as Old Navy.

Worst Starbucks I ever been to. Workers are so slow. Please! Pick up your pace, it’s a long line and you guys are working like a turtle.

I’m not right for failing to update my review on this place. It really is my favorite location besides the one in Waipio(for their drive-thru). I come before work 3 – 4 times a week so I’m pretty familiar with the staff. The morning crew is extremely friendly and can pump out orders pretty fast :) Thank you Adam for the Christmas Blend recommendation, I love it!

I’m really into the Reserve Starbucks coffees. Only a few locations have them. I know of 2 which is this one and the Paiea location in Honolulu(near the airport). I tried the Jamaican Blue Mountain reserve coffee which was I believe the newest reserve coffee. It was fantastic. I didn’t need to add anything to it to taste the richness in it. The Reserve coffees do cost more than your normal coffees(around $ 5 – 6) but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every one that I have tried. This location is almost always swamped when I go. I pop in if I’m at the Waikele Outlets or Sports Authority if it doesn’t look too busy.

The team here is wonderful! Super accommodating and friendly. They had Partner Appreciation this week and the baristas dressed up in 80’s theme. It looked so cute that I had to take and edit a cute pic for them. They have a Clover machine here so you can order any Reserve coffee now on the clover. Usually closes around 11pm so I can stop by to do some computer work before heading to UFC to workout. I usually come at nighttime so I’m more familiar with the PM — closing staff’s customer service. Would definitely give the staff 5 stars for customer service which comes with big smiles even when they look tired. Four stars because the bathroom seems to need more attention so that just takes it one star down; otherwise its one of my favorite Starbucks due to the staff.

The benefit to this location is ample parking in the Waikele Shopping Center. It is the perfect place to sit back and take a break from shopping. To be honest, I’ve never had bad experience at a Starbuck. This one is no exception. I always get a blacked iced coffee and it was fine. It has plenty of outdoor seating and a CLEAN bathroom that requires an entry code.

Average Starbucks filled with tourist. Used to come here often to study because it’s just down the street from me. However, they remodeled and the amount of seats lessened significantly. If you’re just getting you’re getting your good ol’ cup of coffee and you don’t mind the tourist and long lines, then Waikele Starbucks is ok. If you’re going to study, I’d make the drive down to Kunia where it’s not as busy with more tables.

This review is for this location regarding the new mobile app order and pay option… Seriously never waiting in lines again LOL. Make my order when I’m walking to my car, place it when I get stuck at one of the many traffic lights… and you just walk in to the counter of the Starbucks you placed your order at and let a barista know you used the mobile app… and my drink was already there! My extra shot and caramel walls in tact… perrrrrfeeeecccctttt! Took like literally a minute to get my Starbucks fix when I usually have to leave almost an hour to 45 minutes early to ensure i can wait in the line and then wait for my drink AND make it to work 10 – 15 minutes early. Like I said…#neverwaitinginlineagain

As a previous barista, I know the recipes for the drinks I like. The barista messed up my drink the first time and remade it. however the second time it was an inch from the rim! what a rip off! I told Cathy to remake it because I want what I paid for. She snubbed me and remade it. Watching her remake my drink, she put coffee base in my DCCF. coffee base does not go in a non coffee drink! decided to get my money back and go to the waipio one. along with the remodel came with new baristas who have no idea what they’re doing. 2 stars for making a WMF correctly and having a clean bathroom.

Awesome drinks & love how it’s a little bigger than most Starbucks :) staff is friendly but today I came in with about 6 people in line(and more coming through the door) not super busy but a steady flow of customers. There’s 5 workers, one at the register and I suppose the rest are suppose to be making drinks, but weren’t. One guy was making drinks & I think the girl that made my drink is new… I ordered a strawberry passion tea lemonade unsweetened and when I got it my drink was a dark pink color and SUPER sweet sour like it was drenched in the strawberry — usually it’s mostly tea and just lightly sweetened with the strawberry. I had to ask to make sure it was strawberry because it tastes nothing like my usual order… lol. She told me yeah it was strawberry but the more I look at it the more I realize it was made entirely wrong and was mostly the strawberry rather than tea. It’s fine though I was in a rush and already waiting 10 minutes for my drink. Most of the other workers were just standing around talking and not making orders which is why things were moving so slow.

I truly enjoyed my visit today! My iced Green Tea Latte was prepared perfectly… So ono!!! I appreciate how attentive the staff are in keeping their store so neat & clean. And may I say, always on Fleek! Lol! Whereas, other locations I sometimes find myself cleaning/wiping my table. Not this location, they’re on it & this is a great big plus! Love! Love! The renovation. It’s inviting, enticing, comfortable & chic.

The newly remodeled Waikele Starbucks seems to have really stepped up their game! Before it was just your run of the mill coffee shop with long lines and impersonal service. Their remodeled store features a Clover Coffee Maker — for coffee connoisseurs, this is an $ 11,000 single cup coffee brewer! Each glorious cup of java is made individually, and be sure to watch the process in front of the bar! A grandé runs about $ 4.00 so they will have to sell 2750 cups just to break even! The barista wasn’t rushed and even recommended the Uganda beans if I liked my coffee iced. When was the last time a Starbucks barista recommended a bean to you?

Now this location has a clover machine for really great handcrafted coffee drinks. Nice to be able to get Kona coffee at my local Starbucks. The remodel turned out nice as well.

Welcome to the new and highly-improved Waikele Starbucks! I always enjoy the smell and atmosphere of freshly-renovated stores! This location, although has reduced the amount of seating, has truly opened up their lobby space that makes customers feel much less cramped and claustrophobic. The retail space is very nice(so long as it’s maintained) and their new RTD&E(chilled beverages and foods) section is that really awesome wall-chiller now that saves so much space. Along with their renovations came more positive vibes and attitudes from partners. I’m not going to say that they had«negative» vibes flowing at this store pre-Reserve, but the crew just seems more enthusiastic about their work, Reserve, and their customers. This isn’t just my own sentiment — I overheard several late night customers compliment the night crew(Cassie and Ricardo) about how tight-knit and solid the teams have become recently. It’s always a great feeling to hear that — even as a passing customer and fellow partner. I ordered my new favorite(cold brew with 3 white mocha, 3 toffee nut and breve) and Ricardo did a great job with the measurements to give me that perfect taste. I’ve had my drink’s taste vary depending on which barista at which store makes it, likely a result of unspecified standards regarding milk vs water in cold brew, but so far, Ricardo has made it the closest to perfect. I’m very happy to see that Reserve has made such a positive impact on the multi-faceted Waikele experience. Keep it up team!

This Starbucks is conveniently located in Waikele Shopping Center next to Kmart. They just renovated and looks more modern. Some updates include new flooring, bar stools for counter seating by the window and barista area, new tables and chairs inside along with new shelves for their Starbucks products. Outdoor seating is still available if all the tables and seats are occupied inside. Parking is ample but is hard to find during the holidays. It’s all uncovered stalls so expect to come back to a scorching hot car if you come during the day. If you don’t drive, you can get here by a Waikele trolly or the city bus. This Starbucks has a good mix of both locals and tourists. I personally like all the natural light that comes inside. Overall, it’s a great spot to escape the sun after shopping or just a place to chill if you need a drink.

One of the most busiest Starbucks on the west side! Their very generous with their«Thai» and Carmel walls so keep that in mind if you don’t like too much of it in your drink
