Kenyon’s is an old-​fashioned hardware/​feed store. It has great stuff for pets too, all kinds of food and toys. Upstairs they have a wide selection of tools, and there is also a section with farm, hunting and outdoorsy clothing.
It’s a family operation, it’s basically in the back of an old farmhouse. It has of course been expanded over the years. Like so many (well, most, actually) businesses in the Mad River Valley, it is not a chain and so it’s someone’s personal statement. It’s cool to just walk around and look at things you don’t find at a Home Depot or WalMart.
