Only two stars because my food was soooo good. Went around 9am this morning for a breakfast by myself. I had a waitress who only came to take my order, bring my food and bring my box and check. NEVER did she ask how my food was, if I needed anything a refill or water. That’s a big no no if you want a tip.

Had brunch here this morning. It’s hard to find a good place in the south that sells turkey products but they have turkey sausage. Fast service. Fair prices and a good variety of selections on the menu. I will be back next time I’m in town.

Every time I visit NC– I always have to have breakfast at this spot! Just don’t come on a Sunday morning because the wait is always ridiculous. This time I went on a Friday morning and there was no wait, ofcourse. I usually order the same thing when I come. Eggs, toast, bacon and grits with brown sugar! See, where I come from– you can’t really get grits at the local diner LoL I absolutely love them and wish they were easier to find in NYC. But again– had them for breakfast here again and never a disappointment. I can’t really speak for their other dishes though because it’s usually breakfast only I come for– but the plates that walk past me usually look really good too. I’ll still continue to come here for breakfast when I visit NC.

First visit and I was very pleased. Got my basic omelet, ham and cheese, and it was really, really, really good. Eggs moist, but cooked. My choices for sides were English muffin(and they had little packs of orange marmalade!) and grits. I did have to add a ton of salt to my grits, but they were nice and creamy. An added bonus, the HUGE ball of butter on the grits. And as always, my honey ordered the Eggs Benedict. He was also happy with his. I have to say, of ALL the places we’ve been where he’s gotten his favorite(the eggs Benedict) these looked the best. He said the Hollandaise sauce was out of this world. They also had layers a good bit of ham, it wasn’t just one little scrawny slice that made you wonder if you’d even gotten meat! He got fruit and whatever they call the potatoes. He said the potatoes were just okay, but finished them after putting them into his empty egg plate and mixing them with what juice was left. Of course, if you read any of my other reviews the most important question is: will she go back? Yes, yes, and yes again! Next trip, there has to be a waffle for me!

This place is wonderful, excellent service, great menu. They had a sandwich special on the plaque on the table that my wife ordered and I got the West Coast(think that was the name) sandwich, both sandwiches were so good, we went back a few days later to order the same thing. They have short hours serving breakfast and lunch only, but love their food!

My biggest complaint is still that they aren’t open 24 hours. I love this place. It would be a wonderful place for a late night breakfast. But alas, it’s probably for the best. If they were open longer, I’d be there more often and my waistline and my cholesterol count would suffer because of my love affair with their rich and delicious Benedicts! I have yet to eat anything here that didn’t taste wonderful, and I have tried many things. And even now, after many many visits — the service is still always fantastic. I’ve never had one bad experience here.

I love this place! I’ve been coming here for years for breakfast and brunch. I usually get the chicken and waffles, and you can never go wrong with them; unless you’re hungry because they only give you 2 small chicken tenders on a medium sized Belgian waffle. My buddy that was with me ordered the chicken tender MEAL and he also received two tenders. For a 7 dollar meal I would expect 4 – 6 tenders. Don’t get me wrong the tenders are amazing. They have the right amount of breading and they are so tender. Don’t get too excited when the server brings you your food because if your patience level jumps the gun and you bite into a tender soon as the server brings you your food then you will burn the hell out of your mouth because these delicious finger foods are served hot and fresh. I highly recommend this place for a light meal. Restaurant is quite cozy and they are extremely busy before 10am. Try the place. You’ll love it!

Love this place. I could eat here everyday. I had the peach french toast(its a seasonal dish) it was soooo good! They make a great Arnold Palmer too. They give a generous amount of bacon and the grits are AMAZING!

Super tasty, inexpensive. Service is mixed… Sometimes great, sometimes awful, I go for the food. Menu is enormous, I tend to order pancakes and coffee… It’s a fast-paced place but it’s a yummy, great spot for a quick breakfast or even for large groups.

Always good. Great for weekend brunch. My daughter loves the chocolate chip pancakes. I like many of the dishes I’ve tried here. All have been good or very good. Service is always efficient and decent. I don’t think anything on their menu is bad.

Good food, not amazing. Service can be pretty slow, but the prices are good! Almost the same you would pay at waffle house to be full. But I do NOT recommend waffle house, thats a whole different story!

I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since I’ve been here. Where has the time gone? Our usual large Monday lunch bunch choose to go here today and boy what a treat. I don’t know if there is a new chef, they’re using super fresh ingredients or what, but my meal was delicious. I had the you pick two with broccoli salad and chicken salad. It came with a warm muffin and a huge amount of fresh fruit. Don’t get me wrong, I ate every bite. It was delicious, fresh tasting, tasty, and reasonably priced. Also the waiter was excellent, everyone got their food right around the same time and correctly. Great job Brigs. I won’t stay away so long next time.

Loved my chocolate chip pancakes and bacon! While I prefer hash browns, the home fries were still good. The portions are huge! Sammi, our waitress, was very sweet! I will be back.

From being promptly greeted at the door to quickly seated our experience at brigs was top notch. We were seated in warm cozy corner in what appeared to be their private party room. Gazing over I observed the waitstaff serve some amazing looking plated meals which appeared to be omelette and potatoes. Immediately I began to drool over what to order. Thus I ordered the Grecian omelette. This was not your average omelette it certainly oozed of yummy goodness. From the calamata olives to the melted feta cheese and then to the gyro meat this omelette graced with hollandaise sauce clearly fulfilled my breakfast desires. My omelette was wonderfully complemented with diced red bliss potatoes and toasted rye bread. The potatoes were very delicious however my only criticism would be to have some crispness on the potatoes. The potatoes were married to diced bacon and a blend of aromatic seasonings. As for the bread well it was rye. Finally our server was very attentive to our needs and certainly kept my glass full. Great job to both the management as well as the staff of this awesome establishment. Brigs is certainly my place for breakfast.

I could be a fan(4 stars) if the server had not told me the kitchen lost our order and thus the wait for brunch, or if she brought a coffee carafe refill without being asked two times. But the food was excellent. Eggs, whether scrambled or over medium were served as ordered. Waffle, French toast, bacon(prepared as requested) sausage, ham, and grits were all very good. Cheese grits were excellent. Breakfast foods are difficult to mess up, but some places do it. Brigs, although very busy at 11 pm on a Sunday(20 minute wait), did an excellent job in preparation of classic and tasty breakfast fare. I would not hesitate to return.

First of all as a customer I like to get my order brought to me the way I asked. I asked for crispy hash browns and after I sent it back for being under cooked to anyone’s standards, the waitress came back with the same plate telling me that the cooks don’t take requests like that because they are busy. Waffle House could do a better job, and since our visit that is where we have gone. SERIOUSLY! The options are good and I enjoy having grapefruit juice for breakfast but for a long wait and a small party(5 people) we will go elsewhere. Nice server though.

Wasn’t impressed at all. Cheap weekday breakfast options but really nothing to write home about. We probably won’t be back.

Whoa. Serious Bernaise sauce! If you are an eggs Benedict fan it is definitely worth the wait! They have an eggs Benedict of the month and several creative eggs Benedict variations on their regular menu. My wife and I both got the Benedict special which was eggs Benedict with steak instead of Canadian bacon. Like I wrote earlier the Bernaise sauce was awesome. This accompanied with perfectly cooked eggs and thick pieces of steak. The only draw back was the wait. We were told that it would be 15 minutes but it was closer to 30 which was fine as it was a beautiful day but when we were seated, I noticed that there were A LOT of empty tables. This is one of my pet peeves with many restaurants but with such a great eggs Benedict, I could only take off one star.
