Hampton Inn

This is a perfectly pleasant hotel. Beds were comfy, room was clean, public areas were clean, staff was exceptionally pleasant. Breakfast, for a hotel breakfast, was WAY above average. I think the only critique I had is that the waffle batter dispenser was sticking, it took 3 people to finally get it working. I’d stay there again.

2^nd time at a Hampton Inn– this one in Wake forest, NC had great service, clean, friendly staff and accommodating. Our hotel room AC unit leaked onto the carpet and within a few hours the hotel set us up in another room. Very good experience and would book again.

Recently a friend suffered tragedy and the Hampton Inn in Wake Forest provided assistance to visiting relatives. I can’t say enough about how much they went above and beyond to help provide rooms for these family members suffering through the loss of a child. A huge shout out to Beth Rose for getting this done and helping with the accommodations.

This was one of the few places to use my 7,500 HHonors points for free night. I would have to say that other reviewers may be a bit harsh. For the renovation, it has been completed and we visited Christmas eve last year. Place looks nice and the gym is totally upgraded. We found the equipment brand spanking new and the breakfast to be top notch compared to other chains. The egg omlete was a bit odd and even ketchup or salsa couldn’t fix it. However, the oatmeal with blueberries, cranberries, and crushed walnuts was the best ever.
Although the double bed rooms were a bit small, the bed, sheets, and pillows were very comfortable. It would have been nice to have 2 queens but this was fine as well. The front desk didn’t really know Wake Forest too well so we used our GPS to find downtown. There was a nice Christmas tree with lights setup and got some nice photos:)

This isn’t the best Hampton Inn location I’ve stayed at… and they are working on improvements/​updates. I CAN say it was clean. It’s not quite as nice as the newer Hamptons with nicer rooms. They told us that location doesn’t qualify for remodeling as they don’t have enough business.
Friendly staff AND very helpful. I left quite a few clothing items in a room and once my husband inquired about them at the front desk they were more than helpful in returning my items. Whew!

Well appearances say a lot.
Although the place is getting remodeled, I’ve stayed here over the past three months and it’s not anything special.
The room carpets are totally nasty, so I don’t recommend bare feet. Flip flops a must.
I would expect it to look a little better each time, but it doesn’t see, like much is done in the way of construction.
Just beware before u stay here.
