I’m a little late on posting this, but thought I should place my opinion here about these folks. Several weeks ago they programmed a new transponder and cut a new key for my Toyota Highlander right here at my place of employment in Durham. Took less than 30 minutes, which is great. Tim, who did this for me, was right on time even after driving 45 minutes to get to here from Wake Forest. This transponder and key were part of the deal when I purchased a used Toyota from a dealer in Raleigh. The dealer failed miserably in their efforts to provide these two items. Make A Key came through with outstanding service. Both the transponder and key are OEM too. Many thanks for picking up where the dealer failed.

Just moved to Carolina today and wanted to have all the outside locks in the house changed. Between the knobs and deadbolts there were nine locks in all. I called in the morning and they offered me a same-day appointment. Matt arrived right on time and took care of everything, including 5 new keys, in just over an hour. The pricing was also much less than I expected and ½ what I would have been charged in Philly.(I’m so glad to be in Carolina!!) He couldn’t have been more professional or polite. I will be calling these guys for all my future locksmith needs.

Things come in three, this is my third. My house is 10 years old and a Bravura lock decided it was time to end it’s time. I called early on a Monday and had a technician come to my house earlier than expected, on time to fix my latch issue. Done!!!

We were having trouble getting the key to the Honda Pilot to go into the ignition… the beginning of the end, I was told, until it finally locked up at the local convenience store. I called Make-A-Key that afternoon, they gave me a very fair flat rate(Dealership basically wanted $ 600), and they were out there the next day, easily accommodating to my schedule. The whole ignition rebuild took about 30 minutes, and I got a new key to boot! A first rate customer service job all around. I’ve known my mechanic for 18 years, and he suggested these guys, saying they do all his ignition work. I can see why!

The quote on their van is «With God, all things are possible.» I admit I didn’t really understand why until I saw them open my trunk after I’d locked my keys inside with every other access method locked(I’m a little paranoid, I guess.) It was a job that every other company AAA called that night said they couldn’t do, and they had it open in under ten minutes. Locked out of your car late at night is one of those situations that you’d probably expect to result in a lot of pain in the wallet region, but the price they charged me was very fair. They were courteous, professional, and talented. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
