Very nice addition to White Street! Went on a Saturday late afternoon, so it wasn’t busy. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte(because that is the rule this time of year). It was rich, not too sweet and topped with real whipped cream! The décor inside is bright and simple. The little gift shop includes jewelry, baby items, art, cards, soaps, your typical gift items however high quality and many local. It’s my guess this isn’t the place to go if you’re in a hurry — not to say service was slow — but it’s more of a «walk in if you’re taking in the charm of the area» type of place. Overall very good!

Ollie’s is my new«go to» spot for coffee in downtown Wake Forest! The place is airy, bright, cheerful, and has pizzazz! Staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, and remember you when you return. I love that the customers who patron this place are paying customers and not a lot of loiterers or smokers outside like some other places. I actually have nice clean air to breathe when I am at Ollie’s! Another plus, they serve Well Bean coffee, a local business with great tasting coffee and a great back story! Love supporting local! I find myself having a cup and some quiche, and promoting all of my meetings be at Ollie’s as it is such a cheerful downtown spot!

Second local biz in a week with kids on the weekends… and it’s not been a good thing. Today’s kid was in the corner on her phone and needed an invitation to serve me! After sipping my frappé… I drove around trying to find a park for a mouthful of ice chips! It’s watery! I cheated on the WFCaCo for this! Or maybe I need to come when the adults are working!

Great coffee, cute little boutique, awesome pastries, what more could you ask for? My husband and I stopped in for an afternoon pick me up, and the lady who owns it let us try a few of her iced coffee options. They were so well made! We had delicious brownies that she gets from a local bakery. You can really tell that the owner takes pride in her shop and loves what she does. We will definitely be back to try some of the sandwiches!

Visited Ollie’s today with my wife and we’re delighted with the experience. The coffee was the best I’ve had in Downtown Wake Forest. The staff were most hospitable and simply delightful. The selection of local art and products is well curated. Thanks to the ownership for caring about great products, food, and service. Ollie’s is the complete package.

Finally, a place in downtown wake forest to get a good cup of coffee! O, did i type that outloud? is that rude? if it is, my apologies. It was a Unilocaltastic kind of day for us, and we found several great new businesses in the wake forest area, one of them is Ollies. Ollies(currently) is not your ‘traditional’ style coffee shop where they brew you 5 shots of espresso and steam you up some milk, in fact, i don’t think i saw anything like that there. But what they do serve is a great cup of Well-Bean coffee and provide a nice open space to sit and socialize, play a rousing game of Chinese checkers, or do a little work on your laptop.(If you’re wondering where Mimosa went, just look for Ollies. They are now sharing the same space, but no worries, Mimosa does not overwhelm the coffee shop space, b/c it is a BIG space). If you’re still confused about what i mean in regards to a ‘traditional’ coffee shop, many shops today brew by the cup, however, It’s looks like Ollies brews it a pot at a time, and forgoes a lot of the fru fru showy coffee stuff. But don’t let that scare you, it was a great cup of coffee, and tasted, bold, smooth and fresh. They have shots of flavor available if needed, but i personally love Well-Bean coffee with a little sugar and milk, it’s good enough to stand on it’s own without adding fluff. They also sell a variety of baked goods. They do not make them themselves, but they are all local products. Some from Lemon Tree down the block, and some from Raleigh. Staff is very friendly, the space was nice, bright and inviting, the orange cranberry bread was wonderful and the cup of Well Bean coffee(my second of the day) was fresh, hot and exactly what I needed on this cold, rainy afternoon. And not only can you get behind supporting local, but Well-Bean is a coffee with a mission, which i find super awesome. Nice to know I can help people locally and abroad when I get a cup or a bag. :D
