Wendy’s

This Wendy’s sucks. Always dirty, never well stocked. Half the drinks in the machine are out. They can only handle ONE order at a time… and they screw that one up! More interested in the drive thru than walk-​ins. The food is awful. Dave Thomas wouldn’t recognize the place. Tough burgers, hard buns, and shitty fries. This place is nasty. I remember going to one in my youth at Military Circle. Hot, juicy burger and thick hot fries. That was good!

Worst Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. My burger was still pink on the inside. That might be okay if I cooked it but NOT from Wendy’s. Should have been well done, obviously. My baked potato tasted old and weird. I don’t know any other way to put it.

We’ve given this place two tries since the renovation. First time both chicken sandwiches were room temperature at best. I’m not sure these even met food safety guidelines. We returned them and found the new sandwiches a little warmer but with a honey mustard sauce that wasn’t part of the sandwich. We didn’t want to find out what another return would merit.
The second time again both sandwiches were again barely warm. The place had only a handful of customers eating, 7 staff members on duty, and dirty tables, trash on floors, and dirty glass doors. The restaurant itself had an off odor like stale mop water, can’t describe it. The staff just doesn’t seem to care anymore.
Complaints at Wendy’s Customer Satisfaction line went unanswered. We used to love this location for it’s service, cleanliness, and food quality. If I could give this place a 0 rating, I would.

Been there several times in the last several months. whenever we hit Target etc. in Wake Forest. This is the best Wendy’s I have ever eaten at. Must have changed management since some of the older reviews or something as it could be a model store.
I mean. it’s fast food. But it’s right every single time, the food is great, service is great and they are fast in the drive through… probably the best Wendy’s restaurant I’ve found in NC so far. We love this place.

Practically from the time this Wendys location opened up, it’s lack of quality has been very apparent. You really get the impression that nobody who works there actually gives a flip about the quality of the food or the service they provide. Most of the employees need to be given some thoughtful training on how to interact with customers, as well as how to deliver customer orders accurately. I went through the drive-​through today; The guy at the window took my money but forgot to give me my $ 17 in change. Then, on top of that, after handing me part of my order he completely forgot to give me the rest of the order. There I was sitting in my car thinking that they were filling the rest of the order. Nope. I had to make some effort to get their attention from my car, parked in front of their pick up window. I don’t know if this is a corporate store, or a franchise location. Either way, management needs to pay more attention to what is happening at this Wendy’s. Because it seems to be fairly damaging to their brand value.

The guy that helped us at the drive thru isn’t dread lock man that the other reviewer complained about, but this guy was very nice and the frostys were great!

I had not been to a Wendy’s for many years so wanted to give it a chance.
The clue should have been that it only had one other paying customer, one other person was just using the WiFi and the third was sleeping.
The food = burger was thin, no flavor and tasted as if it had been frozen;
bun was thin and soggy, I ordered The Baconator and it was light on bacon
and basically it was so bad I did not finish it and will never go to a Wendy’s again.
They need to spend more money on quality of food and staff and less on TV advertising.

There is a guy that works there with short dreadlocs. I’ve only ever seen him at the drive-​thru — he is digusting. Every time I’ve gone through the drive through and he was the cashier, he had disgusting, dirty fingernails. One time, I saw him cough into his hands behind the window and handle someone’s order. Gross. I’m not making this up — anyone that frequents the Wendy’s drive-​thru on Capital Blvd in Wake Forest knows who I’m referring to. He is nasty and I’m appalled that his superiors let him work there and I’m sure his co-​workers have noticed how unsanitary he appears to be. I’m never going there again.
