If you don’t like the New Haven style pizza at Ziggy’s…you have not taste for pizza! Excellent pizza, delicious every time… recommend the combo of pepperoni and Italian sausage… YUM!!! Moved from Connecticut last year… And had given up on pizza as Wake Forest had no decent pizza to offer… better off going to the frozen pizza section at Walmart than wasting your money or the calories for what gets passed as «pizza» in NC. So glad a neighbor stumbled on Ziggy’s…problem solved!

Sorry, but New Haven pizza isn’t for me or my family. I like pizza to have a crisp, not burned, crust and chewy, not burned, edges. Calling this pizza style«charred» isn’t accurate. It’s burned.

My meal was a 1 star. Went 2 stars as my date’s meal looked better. Had the eggplant sub. I was starving and only ate half of it. I’m not picky and it was really bad. Even pulled the eggplant off the second half so I could eat the bun as I was that hungy. Fries were good and plentiful.

Have to speak to the new owners as of 2016. Quality of the food and atmosphere has increased. You can tell when people actually care about a business. I work nearby and frequently frequent the establishment. Pizza is light on sauce, which means it will be cooked properly. Delicious.

I can only speak for the pizza itself, as that’s all we had. I am not a huge pizza fan, being from the northeast and not really satisfied with any of the local pizza options but I stopped there with my kids to grab a quick bite and ended up returning to order a whole pizza for dinner later. This is the ONLY place in the past 30yrs in NC that I have found has the exactly right crust — thin but not hard, crispy yet soft. Even my kids commented on the difference.

First and foremost I am not going to destroy Ziggy’s on a review. Their wings are off the chain good. My family loves the place. My biggest complaint was the waitress working on Tuesday evening. She served the food and forgot us. I understand she was the only server that night and it gets busy, but I saw her talking to the manager at the register for a few minutes while we sat there. In defense of the manager he totally righted the wrong and was over the top apologetic and represents Ziggys to the fullest. The worst part about it is just a few weeks back this same server was friendly and served us well. On Tuesday she had no personality what so ever. When you cant smile and you are a server you are in trouble. Thanks to the manager on duty. On the additional tips comment below the place you write a review, notice the waitress in the picture. Big big smile. I think I will just do takeout from now on. Its a win win.

Met a friend here on a Wednesday night and it was not what I had hoped for. Our server was so inattentive and our drinks too forever. We got margaritas because they were on special and they were pretty much all mix. My friend kept asking for ranch dressing for her meal and asked two different servers before finally getting it. I do not think either of us will be going back there. The food was meh and the service sucked.

Ziggy’s has always been very helpful each year I have my sons birthday party there. The staff has always gone out of there way to make it a good time. The pizza was good along with the garlic knots. Have no problem coming back here again.

Actually wanted to go to Gonza’s, but the wait was beyond my twenty-minute cutoff and the bar was full, so we popped over to Ziggy’s. In hindsight, I’m glad I did because not only did I find a great pizza joint, but my distaste for Gonza’s would have otherwise kept me from returning to this little complex. This place is small, sure, but they make up for it with great taste, really affordable prices, and a decent bar selection. The had TV’s everywhere with sports on, some locals at the bar, and quick service. I opted for a small pizza(it was huge), a calzone, and wings. The pizza was great, the calzone, while carrying a bit too much feta, was excellent, and the wings were average. I will absolutely return to this place.

The pizza is the best in Wake Forest and the service is good. $ 14 dollars for nachos is a little on the high side, stick to the awesome pizza.

Love love LOVE Ziggys! This restaurant has a small and great atmosphere! You will get great service from the wonderful staff AND the prices are reasonable. This is the type of place people look forward to visiting. You would be cheating yourself if you don’t enjoy a meal here! :)

I love Ziggy’s and that’s truly a compliment coming from a vegan! The changes that the new owners have made are great, and the updated menu has something for everyone. Their pizza and wings are still the best in Wake Forest, and they have a great draft beer selection. One of the best additions was the outdoor patio, took advantage of that this Summer and Fall. The staff has always been nice but the recent additions to the staff have made this a great destination, not just a convenience.

In town from NJ for a Lacrosse tournament. We were greeted at the door by a waitress texting on her phone. She didnt even bother to look up. Seated by another very friendly girl that was behind the bar. We were starving being at the lacrosse fields all day. Our waitress was super friendly and knowledgable about the food & Beers on tap. But, look over and the same waitress is on her phone again, texting. Thank god she wasnt our waitress… Place wasnt that busy. Maybe 4 tables. Food was pretty good. We ordered a pizza, some kind of fried Mac & Cheese. My pop had a sandwich. Beer was cold & again our waitress was good.

I had stopped in at Ziggy’s after an evening of curling(which is done at one of the ice rinks in the same complex that Ziggy’s is located) for a refreshing beverage. While my primary focus at Ziggy’s was to have a quick beer, I had noticed that they have a decent food menu featuring such foods as pizza and wraps. The beer selection is certainly decent as well. Ziggy’s is a little on the small side, but certainly doesn’t seem to get busy. Iin fact, I believe the Triangle curling contingent were the only customers at the late hour I was there.

First trip to Ziggy’s was this last week, and I have now been again this weekend since the first visit. That should tell you how much I enjoyed this place! Ziggy’s is in The Factory in Wake Forest, just to the left of the YMCA entrance. They go hand in hand, right? I was helping with packet pick-ups for the Tunnel to Tower 5K at the YMCA this past week and when it was close down time, we agreed to go get a bite at Ziggy’s. I had seen the place a thousand times but am usually not down with the places that have a million kids around it too but since it was later, the place was adults only! I was surprised when I entered because there was a bar! I had no idea the place had a bar! We were told to grab a table anywhere and a server greeted us. We all ordered beers, not a huge selection but beer is beer afterall. Sometimes it doesn’t matter. Since we were all so hungry, we didn’t even glance at the menu, and just ordered a pepperoni pizza. The food came out in about 15 minutes, and it was actually really good. It was the traditional NY thin crust style pizza and it was really flavorful. The service was great, place was clean, and kid-free. As an adult who is often fearful of going anywhere near the Factory because of it being geared towards kids, I was pleasantly surprised and happy to return again Sunday for lunch. Hubs and I were coming back into town and he wanted to give Ziggy’s a shot too. We dined outside, ordered a pizza, had beer and there were minimal kids outside which was nice. Ziggy’s is a nice surpise and I willl happily venture to The Factory to dine there again.

I’ve had been going to Ziggy’s for quite a few years now, their lunch specials can not be beat. I am very much a creature of habit and if I like something I’ll usually get the same thing. This has almost been the case with me here. I love the Buffalo chicken wrap. It has just the right amount of heat and sauce for it to heat up your mouth, but not burn you so you can’t taste the other parts of your meal and tongue. Another one of my favorites here is the pepperoni pizza. It brings me back to my childhood days of geting pizza at the local pizza store on any corner in Long Island. I’ve tried quite a few of the panninis and the chicken in the grass is my favorite. There is something about the flavor of the dressing and the chicken that is yummy. I also like the value of the lunches. Most are 4.95 or 5.95 depending on whether you get fries and a drink. I will continue to return to this cheerful, well maintained restaurant anytime my friends and I are looking for a fun and delicious meal. They do a great job of serving the 10 of us, they put the tables together and we are very comfortable.

Food ranges from crappy to not bad. Beer selection isn’t very good, but what can you expect. Service ranges from friendly to non-existent. I don’t know what makes it a sports bar other than a few pieces of memorabilia on the walls. They do have 3 pretty nice TV’s but they don’t have any sports packages. If your game isn’t on basic cable it aint on at Ziggys. I give them a star just for having a pizza joint and bar in The Factory, great business model. I applaud anyone that gives parents a place to grab a drink while junior and princess have soccer/baseball/softball/gymnastics/taekwondo/hockey/dance/basketball practice. A good post game gathering place for both youth and adult teams. Unfortunately this captive audience clientele means they will never have to upgrade their food quality. I like the idea of this place alot better than the actual product. If Ziggys was in a strip mall I would give it 1 or 2 stars. Actually I wouldn’t, because they would be out of business.
