Six of us made the trip to this Wake Forest Rosati’s(almost 30 miles) because we had a BOGO coupon. At first glance… the menu did not seem to provide selections equal to a Morrisville, NC Rosati’s my wife and I had previously visited(the others had never been to a Rosati’s before) …but what the heck… we were already there… and of course we had the BOGO coupon. We seemed to remember that Rosati’s offered a «thin crust» and«double-dough» option along with«Chicago Style … „stuffed“ and „pan“ pizza… but this particular restaurant’s menu only listed Chicago style… thin and double-dough pizzas. We went ahead and almost reluctantly ordered two Chicago Style pizzas and crossed our fingers as the pizzas were prepared and cooked… not really knowing what we would see when the pizzas were done. As soon as the pizzas were brought to the table… I knew that we had not ordered what I had hoped we would receive. knew that we had made the mistake ourselves… and that it was really our own fault for not knowing what we were ordering… but even the two Chicago Style pizzas we received were a huge disappointment… never mind that the pizzas we received were both flat and NOT remarkable… but a disappointment given the cost of a base large 14» cheese pizza($ 18.99) and the added cost for each of three toppings($ 2.50). The sausage… extra cheese and mushroom toppings were so sparingly given that the person who made the pies should have offered an apology for charging the $ 2.50 per topping… especially the cheese. Can’t imagine what the cheese offering would have been if we had not ordered extra cheese! Disappointed…but with the coupon… the costs were not an issue… but would really be disappointed had we NOT had the coupon. When I got home… I checked the Morrisville, NC restaurant’s menu and found that indeed… they do offer a pan… stuffed pizza. The service at the Wake Forest Rosati’s was outstanding… and the Chicago style pizza tasted just fine.

We are used to the Rosati’s in California and were excited when one finally opened up here. It is just as delicious! Thin crust pizza is crispy without tasting like a cracker. Sauce is hearty With a bit of zip and there is always plenty of yummy cheese and toppings. Our daughter gets a pasta dish and has always been pleased. Hoping it stays in business as it’s delicious!

We’ve ordered pizza twice since they have re-opened. Both times we called ahead(at least an hour or more) to pick up. Pizza was very good both times. They give you peppers and cheese with your pizza which is a plus. I didn’t know what the pricing was before they closed, but it is on the more expensive side. We like to alternate with Mellow Mushroom and this seems to be quite different. Happy it is open again.

Place isn’t closed. It closed for a couple months in April-June 2015 but is open now. The thin crust pizza and Italian sandwich are awesome.

Yum! Our favorite place and they got beer again!. If you’ve not been you have to go. If it’s been a while go back again. New management and service are phenomenal!

Closed: We went to order on Saturday April 25 and the phone rang and rang. I looked up the location on the Rosati’s website, and the North Carolina location was no longer listed. No notice, just a hand written cardboard sign on the door stating closed. What happened, we finally found a great pizza place in WF and you have closed?

Terrible experience! We called & ordered a 3-topping pizza, & were told that it would be delivered within 30 minutes. I know Rosati’s isn’t Papa John’s or Domino’s, but they’re just around the corner! It took nearly an hour &20 minutes for it to arrive… COLD! During that time, I called back & spoke to the manager, who said that they thought that the driver was available when I ordered, but he was out delivering pizzas… what?!? We weren’t offered any kind of discount for their lack of planning & organization, &OUR inconvenience. $ 25(+ tip) for a 14″ cold pizza! We couldn’t really blame the driver — -whose fault was it, really?!? We’ll never order from there, again. And, I’m sure that the customers at White’s Brewery, who witnessed this whole thing, won’t either. We never even got a simple apology.

We ate at Rosati’s in Wake Forest a couple of weeks ago. I’d been resisting going there because they occupy the same location that used to house Remington’s, and I was still in protest to it’s closing. Big mistake. We took a chance and went all the way with a Rosati’s Monster. I’m seriously considering filing charges of ‘false advertising’. This is not a pizza — it’s a casserole. Seriously, we took enough home for me to have 2 more meals, and I’m not a waif. The pizza was really, REALLY good. It took a little while to come out, but the server was very up-front with this. This is a pizza VERY heavy in ingredients, and needs extra time to cook correctly. Just bought a Groupon for Rosati’s, and we happen to be heading to Wake Forest this afternoon, so… see you there.

Avoid on Fridays. And BYALLMEANS, Avoid using the online ordering, esp on Friday because you and your family will starve! The product is very good, but their business practices will close them down. For two weeks in a row, to give them a fair chance, we ordered the same pizza. Last Friday we ordered for a delayed pickup. Arrived at appointed time, cashier said the pizza was not ready. SHEDIDNOT even check to see if it was ready, but somehow intuited that is was not. She did go back to check, at my request, and it had been sitting there. We were blamed for ordering a delayed pickup. Tonight, merely minutes ago, we arrived at the appointed time only to be told that the pizza had not even been started! Thirty minutes AFTER we ordered online and drove to the restaurant to pick it up. So, we end up with no food, and they end up with no money. Lose/Lose. In all, a sad business model. No one can afford to allow paying customers, who want to become loyal customers, walk out of the door. Apparently this place thinks it’s an exception. I beg to differ. I hope they get their business in order. They sure have a hard time with their customer service. While standing there, I noted 5 others waiting, and two other customers in my situation. Go somewhere where you are given what you order in good faith. There are other options for you in Wake Forest. This place doesn’t seem serious about building a clientele and keeping it. Sad.

The problem with pizza places in NC is; they’ve not got a clue as to what really is «good pizza». Especially the thin crust types that New Haven CT and NYC are famous for. Look up where the highest rated pizzas are from and you won’t find one in NC. Thick crust is Chicago &NY. Thin crust is New Haven and NY Rosati’s is no different than any other NC pizza place. ITSUCKS. The delivery; was poor at best. It’s clear the pizza was either dropped or tilted to the point it all slid into one corner of the box. It actually looked more like a pizza roll than a pizza. The crust? I did ask for«well done» as I like a crispy crust and with delivery, I do take into consideration the moisture in the box that will make any crust start to become soggy. On that note; Rosatti’s did ok, not great, but ok. Rosatti’s crust is pretty much the same as Papa Johns… Pretty shitty. The sausage? Too salty. Ordered the Four something or other, Sausage, Peppers, Onions, Mushrooms… I could have ordered a mushroom pie, as that was the dominant flavor thru out. Sorry Rosatti’s… But your a «one time» try. The only thing impressive you had was your driver was pleasant, professional, and she was pretty… Pretty isn’t part of the criteria; but for everything else? She’s your most positive outcome. I don’t necessarily fault Rosatti’s… It appears it’s more a northern/southern continued rivalry… Sad to say, the north is winning this battle by a landslide…

I can’t take points off for not being authentic Chicago Pizza or not, but I can say this location was not on par with the Morrisville location and was just a terrible experience. We ate here on a Saturday afternoon and had a few beers and watched Games on the TVs. My Wife and I were literally the only customers. We got to hear all about the lives of the workers; not intentionally I might add. The Owner or some self appointed VIP was shouting across the restaurant to others and propped the door open while we sat in a booth right there! It was about 40 degrees and windy that day. I get it, it was a slow afternoon, but our dining experience was at full price? Perhaps we should have got up and left? I would have, but already invested over 30 minutes on pizza wait time. The Server was pleasant despite complaining about everything to her Co-workers and did warn us the Pizza takes a long time. About 45 minutes! She also apologized for chaos earlier. We got a Deep Dish that was a flavorless, sloppy mess. The sauce was thin and the special dimpled pan was literally full of water on the bottom? The crust was all soggy and it was like eating Pizza Soup… Seriously, not kidding nor trying to be funny! We have eaten at the other location with friends as they bragged about this place. The Pizza was flavorful, loaded with toppings and had a buttery, crispy bottom and back edge. Again, I am not sure if that is what Chicago authentic is or not, but I know what I like. We were excited that we were getting one nearby, but this was an expensive disaster. This particular real estate is just Jinxed… Everything that opens in this Spot eventually dies, like the 2 Bakery’s and multiple Pizza Places before it. I have no reason to believe a For Rent sign won’t be in the window shortly if they don’t right the wrongs immediately. This area has 3 solid Pizza places and the only reason Rosati’s can survive is with the novelty of unique Chicago style. At $ 25+ a Pizza they better perfect it.

Everything was amazingly good… way better than I even expected it to be. Chopped salad was fresh and tons of ingredients. Make sure to try the sweet Italian dressing and the blue cheese dressing… I’m a dressing mixer and these two together were unreal. We got the fettuccine with vodka sauce and sausage… One of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. We got the double dough pizza… very nice. The mozzarella was so fresh and was the best part of the pizza. Wanted the deep dish but found out it took about 45 minutes to cook so if you are going to order that you should call ahead unless you don’t mind the long wait. Great service too. Alicia at the bar is fantastic and the owner Dennis was great to talk to. It’s so nice when the owner is actually there… Then you know the quality will be there. Definitely worth coming here no matter how far away you are!

We have been to Rosati’s 3 times in the last 2 months! It is delicious. We have tried the pizza, sandwiches(meatball parm), pasta, and wings. EVERYTHING has had so much flavor. Service can be a little slow, but we don’t mind as the food has come out piping hot. Planning to make our 4th visit tonight! I lived in Chicago for a year and fell in love with the deep dish pizza, but haven’t had a chance to get that yet at Rosati’s. The crispy crust pizza is amazing.

Delicious! Found me new favorite pizza place in Wake Forest. We ordered an XL half pepperoni half cheese — thin crust pizza. Also ordered boneless mild wings, side salad and french fries and cannolis. Everything was absolutely delicious! Fast prompt service. Our server was friendly and kept our drinks topped off. We cant wait to go back and try the Deep Dish Pizza. The deep dish pizza’s take longer and with 2 hungry kiddos we didn’t order one on our first visit. We plan to return. Also want to try the Italian Beef(hope its as good as the one I ate in Chicago?)

Visited here based on friends recommendation. Unfortunately, we were not impressed. Arrived at 11:05 am, didn’t receive our lunch until 11:40! Only one other table of people, not sure why so slow. Slow service, broccoli cheese soup was very bland and we sent it back in exchange for garden salad. Salad was bland as well, not even a tomato on it! Pizza was lackluster — way too much sauce, odd-tasting dough and the cheese was generous but very greasy. Doubtful we will return. Overall, just not good enough to return.

We’ve eaten in several times and had delivery several times now. I guess we like it. They’re pretty busy at dinner so if you’re a family of six you will wait a. Bit or be split across two tables. Not a lot of room. Their thin crust is that cracker thin stuff snd we really like it. I’ve only had pizza there I like it so much. We do the meat mania and the kids inhale a cheese and pepperoni we haven’t tried a deep dish yet because we are usually starving and do t want to wait. A nice change for the area. We haven’t had a pizza place last long in that area and I hope it does well. So far so good

First may I thank my Unilocal friends for your review and pics, so that I could even know that this place has opened in Wake Forest!(about two blocks from Capital Blvd. on the main drag on the right… easy to find) And may I also say that Rod O was not kidding when he said you get a LOT for what you pay! You ALSO get quality, flavor and expertise. Note: the menu at this location is an abbreviated and different version than their Morrisville location’s(I couldn’t find the Wake Forest one yet on their website) Appetizer options here are only a handful. So we decided to share a Rosati’s Salad instead. At under $ 8, this was a giant bowl full of Italian goodness. LOVED that they have an option to add anchovies… yes! Husband remarked that he can’t remember the last time a restaurant offered a salad with two types of tomatoes(grape and another kind, sliced). The salad had cucumber, pepperoni, bell pepper, red onion, spinach, mushrooms(on the side for us, as I don’t do ‘shrooms, but husband loves them), and a wonderful shaved cheese. We tried two of their dressings with it and liked both… the sweet Rosati’s one(it’s not too sweet, just very flavorful… try it!) and the balsamic(also good). Meanwhile I was happily sipping a nice pour of $ 6 Kendall Jackson chardonnay(yes!), and Husband was being kept replenished with Diet Coke. Pizza: It took awhile even for the thin crust we ordered, but let me say, it was well worth the wait! Crust, perfectly thin and crisp… love the robust sauce, and the toppings were beyond plentiful. We chose pepperoni, sausage, green olives(a hard to find option in pizza places), and their hot Giardiniera(pickled veggies with hot peppers). Had we known just how plentiful the toppings would be, we would have selected less, and the Giardiniera will clear out your sinuses! We both highly recommend the sausage! Needless to say we took home about a third of the salad, and TONS of pizza.(large box full), although we ate a LOT while we were there. Service was quite good, and we will definitely be back, although sitting in the small booth near the door(grand central station area) would not be a preference next time.

Value! You get a LOT for what you pay! Deep Dish Pizza and a Nice Flavor! 3 ½ Unilocal stars. I have Never tasted Deep Dish ANYWHERE and I have been to Chicago(once) and did not try Pizza! I’m NOT a Fan, partly because the Pizza was TOO Watery, though Not quite soggy. Better in the Restaurant! Left overs were just ok! I will come back and take a chance with a NON-deep Dish before making my final decision about this place! Doughnuggets with Garlic«Flavoring» these were Pretty Good, this IS a Large Quantity of this appetizer Comfortable(for a Sports«Pub») we came when we were the Only Customers, right before the crowd hit! When you are this close(in location) to a Pizza Shop you want it to be Excellent and I can not say that yet! Right now I’m giving Rosati’s a little under 4 Unilocal stars

Finally, Chicago style pizza in Wake Forest. It’s almost like the location in Morrisville but more of a sport bar feel. Chicago style pizza takes 30 minutes to prepare so be prepared to strike up a good conversation! Service was good.
