A pretty, tranquil, cemetery hidden away in the old oak trees at the end of SE4th Street in Waldo and where most of the early citizens of Waldo are laid to rest. There are some very interesting old stones here, rich with symbolism and ornate carvings commonplace to the stone-work of the late 1800s for those who could afford it. The oaks and and gently sloping grassy field of the graveyard make it a fine place for a pic-nic and reflecting on history and those who have come before us. Lucy D.
