This is Waldorf Maryland’s gem– one of the best tasting indian curries in the area. If you have tried all the indian restaurants in the DC area and is still looking for the one, this is it. The restaurant is situated on strip of shopping center but out of the way so it’s hard to find it. Most of the time I go there it’s quiet and almost looked abandoned. The highlight though are the curries. This restaurant is known for making makhini-​madras chicken– a dish you might wonder sounds weird but this is really a very spicy makhini chicken. Most restaurants serve it sweet and buttery but this place sets it on fire for us, who love really spicy food. I also love the lamb vindaloo one of the best I ever tasted! The owner claimed that it’s a family recipe and I begged him to open a restaurant in Northern VA or Rockville. The service is always good and the owner is so cool!
