Another spot for my Latin Food hunt in this area. This is conveniently on the way to DC, I saw the reviews and went to check it out. You had me sold at Dominican rice. Entering the place is very spacious and dimly lit, staff was very friendly and attentive. Right when I came up one of the workers rushed to help me and then asked me sit where I’d like so he could serve me. There’s a big screen tv but it’s not in the best position for everyone to see. The food arrived very quickly but was super flavorful and their picante is good. Not sure if it was the owner or manager but she was very sweet and spoke to me a little and explained to me they use as much organic product as they can and it definitely showed. It was very important to her the customers well being and their satisfaction of their meal. Customer service is definitely excellent here plus they sometimes have events with a di playing music at 9pm. Shakes don’t have sugar added to them. There was a good amount of people too. Very good for take out also.

Family & I had the pleasure of dining @ Fuegos 2day. Employees were all extremely pleasant! I so love small businesses, who appreciate me as a customer… Please, patronize this establishment… the food is delicious!!! Hubby(picky eater), cleaned his plate(½ chicken, black beans & rice). Youngest son(like Hubby, picky) devoured the fries. Oldest son, loved the ¼ chicken, mashed potatoes & plantains(slightly crispy edges, melt n ur mouth, warm center & I enjoyed every fork-full of la tablita(steak, chicken, sausage, Dominican rice & salad). Son & I also had tasty Pinas. Our leftovers will not go 2 waste. Oh, the complimentary cups of chicken soup were flavorful & heart-warming! Adding Fuegos 2 my contacts, I suggest u do the same! *Sorry no pics, phone died*

My little brother was in town visiting from Texas and leaving early the next morning so we decided to check Unilocal and see what was good in the area. This place had lots of good reviews so we decided to try it. What a disappointment. We went on a Friday night around 7. There were about two other parties there, on of which had about 6 people. We got tended to quickly at first, ordered our soft drink and they brought out some free chicken soup which was good! We had hit the jackpot… or so we thought. We ordered our food. Waited about 10 min for our drinks. Waited another 20 min for our meal. For the waitress to then ask my brother what he had ordered, then said, «ok it’s coming out». Well needless to say, my dad and I pretty much finished our meal before his came out. Then we never got our drinks refilled. My brother got up and refilled all of ours on his own. My mixed fajitas were cold. Beans had no flavor. My dad said the pupusas weren’t bad just cold, he also agreed beans had no flavor. After my brother’s plate got to him he ate very little saying it wasn’t very good. Took another 20 min or so to get our check, that’s because the two waitresses were just sitting behind their counter sitting down. Oh well, we had high hopes for this place. Never going back.

Ordered to go, but was very pleased with the food and the detail to ensuring that the order was correct. Food had great flavor, very authentic. Everything was cooked to perfection. We both ordered chicken with rice and vegetables. Well with the effort, no wait after calling ahead.

This has become one of my favorite places in Waldorf to eat at. This restaurant is drawing a diverse crowd of young and old from all over Charles County, Md. When you are driving down Berry road you will be drawn to the Latin’s restaurant décor from looking through the windows. It has two appealing electric fireplace on the wall and the décor is warm and relaxing. Once you walk inside the restaurant, you are always greeted very warmly by the owner or servers. There is an variety of Latin and cuisines at economical prices. I also recommend tasting on of the fresh fruit juices(i.e. Mango, passion fruit or berry). Leave room for dessert with their homemade bake lemon pound cake or chocolate cake. Dine in and enjoy the jukebox music, while having your meal with a cocktail. The manager said very soon the establishment will start having bands play there. The restaurant also has a big screen tv which would be ideal to watch sports games on while having dinner. So bring the family for one of their family meal specials, date night with your significant other, enjoy take out but just go visit Fuego’s! You will be a returning customer as I am.

After seeing Fuegos was #1 in Waldorf we decided to go back. I got La Tablita with plantain, salad and yuca. The staff was really nice and the décor is pretty! The woman’s bathroom looked really nice and clean. I just didn’t really enjoy the food! I was hoping I would because the rest of the restaurant is so nice and because of their high rating. The chicken was fresh but was lacking flavor, the steak was kind of tough and chewy and lacked a little in flavor too. I don’t really care for sausage so my fiancé ate that but he said it was okay. I did like the plantain and yuca! Those were good. I will probably come back to try something else one day.

I was visiting my parents in southern Maryland and had a taste for rotisserie chicken, rice and beans, and pupusas. I was excited to see so many fantastic reviews on Unilocal.I must say the restaurant was spotless when we entered and the staff was so nice! We ordered a whole chicken, the Dominican rice, black beans, fried yuca, and pork pupusas. The chicken was excellent! We all loved it and would definitely order again! The rice and black beans were good… not excellent, but good. I was disappointed in the yuca and the pupusas. The yuca was not fried long enough so it turned out hard like undercooked potatoes and the pupusas were greasy and lackef the crispy texture on the outside with the gooey goodness inside. Maybe I’m spoiled because there are so many options for ordering these foods in Silver Spring… maybe it was an off day… I would probably return but only for the chicken!

I found this place on Unilocal when passing through Waldorf and decided to give it a shot. The staff was ultra friendly and helpful. I ordered the #1 Tablita with chicken, sausage, steak, rice and salad it was delicious and great for the price. We also got chicken soup and fresh juices which were great as well! The best might have been the fried pork and yuca which was phenomenal. Definitely go here and give it a try!

Fuegos is inviting and the menu is flavorful with just the right spice and price! Love coming here. Tonight we tried the empanadas. So warm and flaky with perfectly spiced shredded chicken. They are addictive! The sweet warm fried bananas were a perfect sweet treat. A recent addition to the family is the mango, papaya, and guanabana, guava, tamarind, and blackberry fruit frozen drinks. Yummy! They also serve beer and mixed drinks! This is our new favorite place to eat!

My mom and I went here last Friday and were amazed. The employees were pleasant and very very friendly. They seemed generally happy that we were there. While I was there, I saw the employees help customers carry their food out to their car. I I will definitely be back.

If I lived in Waldorf, I would be eating here once a week. I’ve been in Waldorf twice in the last month, and both times I ate here. Had Pollo Ranchero once, and it was delicious. Had the soup, plantains, and a papusa the second time, and they were equally good. Finally, the restaurant is clean. I know this seems like a small thing, but it’s not too me. Super yummy, I was happy to eat there twice, and I hope it is still there when I get sent back to Waldorf.

For the reasonable price, quality and quantity of the meal(Peruvian roasted chicken plus the tasty green & yellow sauce), I am forced to rate this place 5⁄5. Delicious plantains too. The bar is scheduled to open in June. So if you must have an alcoholic drink with your meal get take out now. There should be more butts in the seats to support this small business owner. We were the only ones in the place at 5:30PM. Forget Chipotle, this is so much better. Admittedly, I saw lots of ToGo dinners being prepared. That’s excellent. Waldorf has a lot of commuters who are tired by the time they get home and this is a Wednesday. Our 2 meals cost $ 18(¼ chicken dark meat + 2 sides) and 2 bottles of water.

Service: A Food: B Environment: B The chicken was large, flavorful, and juicy. It had a sweet lime taste to it which I found to be AMAZING and completely different from what I have tried before. My husband ordered #1 which came with steak, sausage, and chicken. I wasn’t fond of the sausage, I found it to be too salty which left it to be inedible. The steak was tender, seasoned well, and cooked to perfection. I kept trying to steal his steak… The dominican rice was flavorful and tender. The yucca was fresh fresh fresh! Since everything was made to order, except the chicken and rice, we had to wait about 10 minutes for our food. Overall, it was worth the wait. The portions were ridiculous for the price; in a good way! I would recommend getting the meal that comes with several meats and sharing. My husband made the mistake of ordering it by himself and I ordered a ¼ dark chicken. We were left completely stuffed and didn’t even finish half of the food. The staff were very welcoming and gave us advice on what to order. They offered samples for us to try and were sold on the rice. Remember, the location of this restaurant is behind the Wawa and can be accessed by their parking lot. My GPS sent me to the wrong shopping center. I would only recommend the staff to use less salt in their preparations. However, I will be returning.

Friendly Friendly Friendly Service‼ this place is awesome off the service alone. The owner came by to make sure everything was ok… Although this is more of a carry out than a fine dining facility I must say I would rather pay for a1 service vrs. A fancy restaurant. Don’t get me wrong this place is super clean and very modern. Must say next time I’m in the neighborhood I’m stopping by.

Try the lomo salteado. Delicious. Crazy delicious steak stew. Come hungry. The portions are amazing. Rotisserie chicken will blow you away. Great friendly employees. Super clean. Lots of free parking. If you have traveled South this place will bring back those amazing flavors like fried yuca. Dominican rice. Arroz con gandules.
