Macy’s

Every time I come here I always have a bad experience. The cashiers are always very rude almost as if they don’t want to help you. I don’t even know how most of them get hired with that nasty attitudes!

I have lived in Waldorf for about 10 years and am not one for going to the mall very often. I can’t really say much about the clothing department (I don’t normally shop there), but their makeup department is top notch. I went in the other day looking for a specific product at the Mac counter and I was greeted very kindly right away, the product was found, she answered my questions, and even showed me what it would look like on my skin. I wish I would have remembered her name because she treated me very well. She even complimented me as she was working on my face. She did not seem rushed and took her time to make sure she did everything correctly, even if I was just testing a product. I will definitely be going back for any product advice I need. :)

No one at the lingerie counter for 2 – 3 mins but a young Macy’s boy lingering in Coats watching me look for someone. Smdh. Like he is scared of women. I had to go to Kids Coat where Barbara helped me return items. She told me he worked Coats and Lingerie but young ppl at the store do not like ring up ppl.

The shoe department lacks real brand names and real high heels. Lawdy.
But it is Macy’s in the deep suburbs.
It’s nice looking. Can get messy by the evening but sales associate are nice!

I only frequent two areas ladies and cosmetics. Always helpful in the ladies department, never an issue, love clearance sales and a girl had a 20% coupon, I got 5 dressy work shirts for $ 42 total yeah baby, I loves me a sale and a clearance rack… don’t hate appreciate and remember a pretty short sleeve shirt becomes a pretty fall shirt with a 6 $ knit jacket… but you need another register open in the ladies section/women’s section, we all can’t be ganged up at the register by the fancy dresses. But the folks at the register were on point getting the line down kudos to the staff:)
My experience today was the bestest (lol). I was looking for some new fragrances and I ONLY like fresh clean scents. Perfume folks all helpful, but the one lady asked me what I normally wear what I like and proceeded to bring me samples of the fragrances she thought would work for me… other folks did not step up like that.
So, I only buy like once a year and I ball on a budget, so if it isn’t part of a gift set, so I can get more bang for my buck, it can’t come home with me. I ended up with two gift sets love them both.
Thank you perfume lady you made my day… and I smelled good before, but now not only do I smell good… I’m delicious… can’t wait to get my sexy on with the new clothes and fragrance… well maybe that’s a bit much for work… but…you gotta to take care of you… In my mind I am Beyoncé mixed with Halle Berry with a Nikki M. Body… so let me have this one… just don’t tell my co-​workers they don’t need to know I’m so fabulous

This Macy’s is pretty much the only thing in the St. Charles mall. That being said, it’s horribly disorganized, dirty, and the service is always lacking. It really is the only department store in Southern Maryland that has any sort of selection; however that doesn’t make up for the lack of neither service nor the disorganized look to the store. Most of the signs on the fixtures indicating sale prices on merchandise are usually never correct, so even though you found something you liked, once you get to the register it’s like a game of Russian roulette. Will it ring up correctly? If they could get their act together, then Macy’s Waldorf would really be worth the trip.

I love this Macy’s! Seems like i only go to the jewelry counter — they have the best service.
