A simple lunch order on a Monday when it’s NOT busy should not take 25 – 30 minutes. I received the wrong order, excuses were made about how many tables they had(3 tables none of which had ordered yet). Not a very good experience. I did receive a $ 10 gift card for waiting and making me late to work.

It was Monday, 16 May 2016, 1.30pm. Restaurant had a handful of customers at two or three tables. Hostess was pleasant as was the server. That was the best news. Service was inattentive and slow and the food was mediocre, at best. The water I asked for with a wedge of lime came without the lime and then I had to wait for it for an unreasonable period of time because it was«at the bar.» We took our time ordering, as it had been 10 years since we had been to any Red Lobster. So I don’t hold them accountable for that. However, when it arrived, the baked lobster alfredo was dry/overcooked and the lobster was tough. The panko-crusted«crab» cakes had no crab flavor. The lemon parmesan asparagus served with my meal looked as though it had been served at least another meal; it was overcooked and not presented well – a glob of parmesan on the asparagus. The only things palatable were the biscuits and the skewered chimichurri shrimp. Our drinks were never refreshed. We were never asked whether we wanted to order anything else, such as coffee, or dessert, or even how the meal was(because they knew?). I tipped the server 20% because I know they are not paid a livable hourly wage and she was only partly to blame for the experience. Not that the server was aware, but we were having lunch with my stepmother, five days after my father’s funeral and her mother’s funeral. We had not seen each other in 10 years.

Visiting D.C. and ventured out to Waldorf to visit family. There was a 15 minute wait but it was ok. Wait staff and hostess seemed to be very confused as to the order of who was to be seated. We were seated in the rear of the restaurant and there was no one else sitting there. After asking to move they did move us and and we were taken care of. Ordered the seaside trio and everything was very tasty and the presentation was great. Very pleased.

Lunch that took too long… Appetizer took some time. Ordered lobster & artichoke dip which comes with pico de gallo and arrived without it. Side salad ordered with blue cheese dressing, received ranch. Drinks were good. Almost 50mins later and food haven’t arrived yet. Waiter had too many tables so I guess is not his fault. Food arrived after 1hr, definitely under staffed. Catfish was good. I ordered garlic shrimp scampi with mash potatoes… shrimp was good, mash potatoes were«suspicious» looking. Couldn’t eat it. Sad that the waiters were all apologizing to every patron fir food delays, drinks delays, etc. Manager was also serving tables. Not a great experience. It was a long time since the last visit to this Red Lobster and it will be a longer time for our next one.

In the eleven years we’ve lived in Waldorf, we’ve been to the site four times. Keep in mind all four times have been during a slow time. We’ve have successfully ordered once and because of slow service we had it packed to go. This time it took five minutes to acknowledge to families, another three to input it in the computer. The hostess then ran all over doing what? Not sure. There were two tables cleaned and ready to go. After a seven minutes wait, we were told it would be another 10 – 15 minute wait. We’d waited 15 minutes already. Had wait staff been hustling and the managers to «bus tables«it would have been different. In the 15 minute wait, we drove to Outback and was seated with drinks. They were short staffed as well and everyone was moving. So better service and better food. Sorry Red Lobster, there won’t be a return trip.

Just walked out of an uncrowded red lobster after being seated for 15 – 20 minutes and no waiter to be found. We were sat away from everyone, most likely to be forgotten.

The service is awful the food was below average and the décor was deplorable. The server was kind and professional but very forgetful. The décor has not been updated in at least 10 years. The food was cold and rubbery. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Unfortunately this place has gone down hill a lot, we had waited 5 minutes to be greeted and sat, and the server never came to the table. We waited for 10 min and left, very sad to the restaurant decline so much

Service started out great. Jace was accommodating but, shortly after it became a little too much because his check-ins were not very productive. For example he would ask me but would tell my date that he knows he doesn’t need anything… this in and of itself started to get him a little upset. That proved to be a little uncomfortable because he felt as if Jace was flirting with me. So although he was helpful, cordial and really trying to please his guest. I know he’s working on tips but I’ve never experienced over kill. He constantly thanked us for stopping by Red Lobster. Maybe he was just a little nervous or something.

My family arrived at Red Lobster around 3pm EST and the place was not very busy. The host was a complete moron and spoke like he had a 2nd grade education. Not a very good first impression. We sat at our table for about 5 minutes before our server even talked to us. He returned about 3 minutes later for our drink order. We placed our order for food at that time. The salads showed up very quick but the dressing for my wife’s salad didn’t. The waiter came over after a few minutes, realized the mistake and said he would correct it. The dressing arrived 15 minutes later… with our meal. We asked for extra napkins because we have two children, he brought 2 and then dropped them on the floor. Never to bring more. Now let’s move on to the food. Not only did it take over 30 minutes, it was OVERCOOKED and rubbery. The waiter never returned to our table except to bring us the bill and wanted us to fill out a survey. The staff there is horrible. We asked to speak to the manager and he wasn’t there. Complete failure of the staff.

Came here yesterday after long time, and was pleasantly surprised! It was a Sunday night, so business seemed slow. We were greeted by warm and friendly staff, and our server was very cheerful and kind(you go Otmar!). The cheddar bay biscuits were delicious as usual and the salad was pretty good. The lobster and artichoke dip was absolutely delicious(we used the free appetizer coupon), and enough to feed a family of 6. I got snow crab legs, which were cooked and seasoned pretty well. Oh, and I recommend the peach Boston iced tea to go with your meal, it’s very refreshing! Besides it being a little on the pricier end, we enjoyed it!

We stopped in Red Lobster for a quick bite to eat and to my surprise, we had a great experience. We came in around 7:30 and were seated immediately. We were greeted by a young man named Zaïre who was very friendly and super nice. Great start to the evening. Our server, Alicia came over and greeted us right away. It was her first day on the floor and she was quite good. We ordered two drinks, I had the Bacardi Limon Strawberry Lemonade and the Guy ordered a Mango Strawberry Dacquiri. Both drinks were very good. We initially ordered the shrimp lettuce wraps, but they ran out of lettuce! LOL. We were offered another selection of appetizer, so we chose the sweet chili shrimp appetizer. It was very good. We then ordered our entrees which we were both very pleased with. Shrimp, pasta, chicken… how can you go wrong. The food was very good. I usually avoid Red Lobster because I am always let down by the food and the selections. However, I had such a good evening there, that we are thinking about going back. We had great service and the food was great!

This is one of my favorite Red Lobsters to visit in my neighborhood. I prefer sitting at the bar and having a drink while having dinner. Good and friendly service.

I was here on Wednesday, the 25th, the wait was stated at 45 minutes… only the restaurant was not that busy. Come to find out that a group was set up in here that was selling time shares to people. So during the height of Lobster Fest, the restaurant sold out half of their service to a company that was selling shady deals to people. Sorry, but this is not what I expect when I come to a national chain trying to rebuild their national reputation. Oh, by the way… we waited an hour for a table… and there was plenty of open seats.

I had a really good dinner tonight! Our server was Niko, who we have had as a server before. I have to say he is one of the best servers I’ve had at any restaurant, he’s very polite and quick! & After letting him know that we were in a hurry, our order came out within minutes — great quick service! The food was delicious, but I can’t give 5 stars because part of the crab legs were dry and crumbly, which is unfortunate because that has happened every time we’ve been in the past 2 years. We usually ask for different set of crab legs, and then the next ones always come out fresh and hot(hmmm weird) but really didn’t have the time today. The rest of the food was great, the service was amazing, and the biscuits of course were to die for! Just wish they would always have fresh crab legs!

This place is disappointing. Somehow a decaying lobster is belly up in the live catch tank??? I know this is a chain, but come on. Where’s the manager? I was wondering if this would be served to some poor customer.
