I tried out Unique Nails because being new to the area, I wanted to find a decent nail salon. At the recommendation of my son’s babysitter, I was happily surprised. Keep in mind, I just moved from San Diego, CA so the options that you can get out there are far more extensive than what I can find in any nail salon out here – the days of different colored powder tips and gels are over, for now. Mike(maybe mikey?) and his wife have both done my nails as fills and did a great job. They last 2 – 3 weeks at a time, with no breakage and minimal lifting. I get acrylics, sometimes with french manicure. Since I got a new set one three weeks ago I’ve been getting the clear acrylic with gel on top and a design on one nail, each hand. The price for a fill is under $ 30. While I think the price should be around $ 20-$ 25, the quality is good. Pedicures are good as well. The place is clean, and they have a wide variety of China Glaze and OPI products. For now, this is my salon of choice :)
