Dated look, high prices and good gods could they organize their products better? It was like the man hunt from the fugitive just to locate the aisle for chips, meat section of course, when you think steak you think ruffles *shakes head* very convoluted and worth driving out of town for an alternative store.

When you have to have an item or two this place is better than driving to Newport.

Holy shit if I had a shop here for my family I would not be happy. I’ve been to plenty of small towns across America and this store needs help. I felt like I stepped back in time 30 years. The store looked dirty including the floor and overall appearance. Oh and don’t go here looking for vanilla Tillamook ice cream as they were out. Now what am going put on my apple pie? Perhaps some competitors will open a store and things will change for the community. You deserve better!

They have a good selection of products, and the store looks clean and well-organized. Prices are higher than at my hometown grocery, but not nearly the price gouging at the grocery store down the road in Yachats. Most of their«fresh» seafood was imported from other countries, and I didn’t see anything that was labeled local.

Not impressed. This place was poorly organized and quite cramped. I saw a worker climbing all over the shelves. A lot of the packaging was damaged, and I found moldy tomatoes for sale. It got the job done, and had several local brands, but if I lived here I would find a different store.

We stopped for a few groceries to cook at our vacation rental house and what a frustrating experience. I couldn’t find a item and there was no help around to ask. Then checking out the checker was very unfriendly. Prices VERY high. Store was dirty and produce looked crummy. Worth going somewhere else for better service and groceries.

I love Rays. They have grocery delivery and you don’t have to be old or handicapped; an email or phone call brings groceries to your front door – regularily or for a one time event! Feels like I’m saving by avoiding impluse purchases. Yes, their prices may be a bit higher than the stores in Newport, but they do a great job for a rural store. I usually start my weekly shopping with their online sale supplement. Shirley, mgr of the Deli has all kinds of customizable ideas, and the meat department you can’t beat – oldfashioned superb service. They’ve custom ground pork for our at home sausage making! Their case goods sale in October and their meat sales are great times to stock up the pantry, and they really are good corporate citizens, very active in the community. Like all businesses they try to do more with fewer resources and their employees still really care about the customer. Decent selections and hardworking folks.

This company forces their male employees to cut their hair, and you can tell by more than just that they wish it was the ‘50s. I’m all for community and vintage style, but C&K Markets is just prejudiced, enforcing gender stereotypes like that. Shame on you!

Decent small town grocery store. Old school for sure! It smells and looks like an old Eagle Foods. They have a decent selection for a all town grocer. I’d like to recommend a larger offering of organic foods as my family has a vacation home nearby and we will be shopping here whenever in town. Great store to go get the necessities.

Not too impressed with this grocery store. It’s a local store. The store needs some repairs. But the store does have what you need and the staff needs some improvements with customer service. The prices is higher than the typical grocery store like Safeway, Lucky’s or Albertson. But with in a 2 grocery town, beggars can’t be choosers.

The people at the check-out are friendly and helpful. Their prices are higher than their competitors in Newport usually. My biggest gripe is that when I have a couple of items and I’m behind someone with a large cart full of groceries, the folks at the checkout will announce they’re open. What usually happens is that the people who are at the end of the line and have been waiting for less time end up getting there first. I’m not usually in a hurry, but sometimes I am. At Fred Meyer and Safeway they pull my cart over to the new checkout so that I am rightfully there first if I’m the next one in line, which is why I do the majority of my shopping at Freddy’s and Safeway. It’s a little thing maybe, but it shows that other places have better customer service policies.

This is the big grocery store in Waldport. Highlights include a full-service bakery, deli counter and large produce and meat sections. We were only here for a bottle of water, but I could already tell this is where the locals shops. Tourists should shop here too, although their C&K Market on Hwy. 101 does seem to have the same grocery prices.
