Always consistent. A typical Lunchonette. Good specials great breakfast quick and inexpensive, I disagree with the phrase«greasy spoon» it has a negative conatation its clean well run and good value for the money. BTW best taylor ham and egg sandwich anywhere.

This is a greasy spoon located in the center of Waldwick by the library. In no means it is a frills place, in fact its cash only so come prepared. The food here is quite good and the service is excellent, the waitstaff is very attentive and accommodating. As for the food, it’s pretty good! They run great specials all the time that come included with a soup and soda, all usually for under 9 dollars, you can’t beat that. I’ve been here twice in the last few months and will definitely give it a shot again soon, also, they have a lottery so you can pick up your powerball tickets with your meal, ha.

Great place! I am never disappointed when I go here. It’s a relaxing environment that is perfect for breakfast or lunch. A real gem in Jersey. My personal favorite is the buffalo chicken wrap! Also, what better way to start the morning than eating their amazing bacon egg and cheese sandwich?

This is the quintessential neighborhood luncheonette, favored by the local police, craftsmen –especially before 7 am-, and families. Decent(don’t expect gourmet) food at very reasonable prices, and(at least when you’ve become a regular) friendly service. Try it.

This is a true greasy spoon in the best sense of the term. Good coffee, fun staff, solid cooking. In response to ubu w give them another shot every kitchen can have a bad day. They are worth checking out.

Avoid this dive at all costs. Came here for a late breakfast over Thanksgiving weekend with my wife. The décor is just horrid. The seats are ripped and patched with duct tape. The menu has numerous caveats, such as a $ 4 minimum per person and absolutely no substitutions. Should have been a warning sign right there. Also, lots of yelling coming from the kitchen staff and management. Not a nice atmosphere at all. My wife ordered a French Onion soup and I ordered an omelet. The soup was served cold and the cheese was barely melted. It was also salty and flavorless as heck. I imagine it was straight out of a dried soup package. Lazy. My omelet was similarly tasteless and watery. Sad. The home fries were horribly burnt. And to make an even more unpleasant experience worse, we found out after we barely ate that they don’t take credit cards. No wonder… I would have reversed charges on this joint in a hot second. I really wanted to give the chef a piece of my mind, but my wife stopped me, since there were a lot of yokel locals in this place that seem to love this overpriced greasy spoon. The one positive thing about this place was that the waitress was sweet as heck and very hard working. We left her a nice tip. Especially since it wasn’t her fault that the kitchen sucks. I would have given this place 0 stars, but her performance gave the place a star. There are much better diners in Waldwick. This is quite possibly the second worse diner I’ve ever been to. Eat here at your own risk.
