This was my first time here, and also my last. My party ordered two pizzas, garlic knots, and a sandwich. All of the dishes ordered had little to no flavor and were very greasy. I would stick with Nellies Pizza around the corner or another pizza/Italian place.

Great place to take the kids after a baseball game. Such friendly service, lots of photos posted to show that Ray’s supports the local sports teams. The pizza is really great, garlic knots and hero sandwiches are also excellent. Definitely recommend this local place over a chain pizzeria.

All things considered this the worst slice I have ever eaten in my life. I’ve had worse slices in California and Florida but that’s not surprising. Never in my worst nightmares did I envision eating a slice from a pizzeria in Bergen County that was as bad as the aforementioned locations. Pizza shops are a dime a dozen in this area, so I don’t know how this place has been around for so long. I’m thinking that the stop and shop and liquor stores next door have something to do with that, which would make sense, because honestly, I think that Id only be able to eat this pizza drunk, and even then it would be a struggle. The second I saw my pizza coming out I knew that something was wrong with it, and with the benefit of hindsight I would’ve asked for a refund immediately, but unfortunately I took 1 bite, which was my last bite. The cheese is tasteless rubber, the sauce is basically prego, and the crust was like a cardboard box. You know a pizzeria is bad when you’d be afraid to order a plain slice again.

Probably the worst slice I’ve ever had in Bergen county. The sauce was old the crust tasted like chalk. The person working here didn’t even offer me anything after I stated I was unhappy with the freshness of the pie. I will never recommend someone to go here ever again. Pizza is an art and these people have no clue how to make a quality plain slice. Do your self a favor and go to Nellies place down the street!!!

This is good pizza for the area if you want to order something other than Domino’s. I tried the bacon two cheese pizza and subbed the meatballs for pepperoni. It’s was pretty tasty during the first grueling Sunday Fundy of the season. The delivery was acceptable being delivered in a little over 30 minutes. The cheese and sauce are pretty good, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the dough. It was a little dry for my preference. The bacon and pepperoni were good quality and more than made up for my thoughts on the dough. I would order again with the hopes for a little better dough.

Really good pizza $ 9 cheese pie Monday thru Thursday. They also have specials like empanadas which is odd since it’s a pizza place but I’ve had them and they’re good. Also some $ 5 lunch specials but I always get the pizza

It’s around 2 ½ stars, so I gave them gave them 2 stars in comparison to other area pizza joints such as John’s and Franchesica’s in Glen Rock. It runs like a mom and pop pizza shop, which is the draw, however the quality of pizza is a bit bland. The price point is also on the expensive end for what it is. The service is friendly, however the speed of service is left wanting. I had called in my 2 pie order an was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. It was ready an hour later, and sitting in the shop waiting for the pizza, it was not particularly busy. It’s great to be located in the Stop & Shop shopping center, so one can do the grocery shopping while waiting on their order. Parking is also rarely an issue.

nice people and good menu. but poor tomato sauce makes very middling, at best, pizza(sicilian is way too thick) and chicken parm hero(good portion though). not even close to NY pizzerias. hopefully bergen county has more to offer.

Great slice — garlic knot sample — crust almost perfect, but not chewy enough for 5 stars — good cheese to sauce ratio — nice community feel — scout troop and soccer club stuff on wall.
