This is a great coffee shop and the only Roastery in Walla Walla. The coffee is fantastic! I got a doppio, a cappuccino and a nitro cold brew. All delicious! The barista who helped me(Paul) was great! Knew a lot about coffee and very friendly! Great interior and aesthetic as well. Definitely the best coffee shop in Walla Walla.

We were over in Walla Walla recently, on business and wine tasting, so the next morning before departing the area, we wanted some decent coffee. We prefer to support our small businesses vs: chain businesses whenever possible, so we searched Unilocal and found this little gem, near the historic Walla Walla airfield. The atmosphere inside, on that cool foggy morning was warm, friendly and inviting, with many locals gathered there as a popular community meeting spot. In addition to brewing awesome coffee, they also roast their own coffee beans onsite, so the aroma’s in this cozy coffee house was wonderful! We ordered skinny latte’s, extra hot, and these were prepared to perfection. Way better than what we have ever tasted from«Starstrucks.» :-) We will most definitely visit there again, next time we are passing through that area.

Lovely little shop outside of town near Dunham Cellars. Well-made, right-size, cappuccino(read, only one size on the menu). Fun and kind staff — made the trip out here twice! By far the best coffee stop in Walla Walla!

This is hands down the best coffee shop in town. The baristas are incredibly nice and have never burned a single cup of coffee that I’ve ordered and the quality of the beans is out of this world. When people ask what place I would recommend getting coffee from, I always say the Walla Walla Roastery. It is a little ways out of the main area of town, but it is worth the trip and I love how quiet the surrounding area is. The outside patio is beautiful and all the plants are well-tended.

GREATGREAT Coffee! The nicest people you will ever meet. If you are staying downtown take the very easy drive and ENJOY your coffee. They have a lovely outdoor seating area too not to mention all the great tasting rooms near by.

This is such a cute little place if you are not familiar with the area it can be kind of hard to spot. Everything about Walla Walla Roastery is fantastic, from the shop itself and the people, to the quality of bean and ultimately the final product They really should get five stars except that I reserve that for a select few superstars who deserve six.

Without a doubt, the best coffee in town. Great owners, great employees, and a large selection of awesome coffees and expertly made espresso.

What a gem! This place, out by the Walla Walla airport, has incredible mochas. The chocolate is deep and rich, not syrupy or super sweet. They get their chocolate from the Colville St. Patisserie and mix it with their coffee. It’s worth the trip out there just for this drink!

I wandered in here to check out their coffee. I left a fan. This is quite possibly the best espresso I’ve had. So smooth! I ordered a macchiato and thoroughly enjoyed every sip. The staff here is very knowledgeable about the different espresso drinks and also coffee beans for brewing. I wanted to buy a pound to take home and they were very helpful with letting me know about the different beans they have available. I came home with some fabulous coffee — they roast fresh right on site and you can tell by the flavor. I’ll definitely be back on trips to Walla Walla!

What a pleasant surprise! Nestled in amongst the industrial complex of the Walla Walla Airport(and about 20 wine tasting rooms) is a place that can actually make a traditional cappuccino! What a delight!

At the hotel breakfast, I caught myself actually liking the drip coffee, so I asked about the source, and the said Walla Walla Roastery. Later that day, I was at a café and had an amazing cappuccino, and once again Walla Walla Roastery came up. Since they are closed on Sunday, I made sure that my plans had me stopping by the airport area of Walla Walla for a visit on my way home Monday morning, to see the source of such coffee greatness. The roaster looks like it is located in a converted home. To be cliché, it has a very homey feeling. It is understated, and simply about the coffee here, no trendy art, or fancy chocolates and pastries, just the beans. The inside is very small, just a couple of tables, I couldn’t see myself hooking up my laptop and remaining for hours. They focus on micro-roasting, and everything is done on the premises. They are fair trade and all that good stuff. They utilize a beautiful machine, which I believe is a Marzocco. The espresso itself is amazing, you don’t need to add anything, it’s smooth and flavorful without any bitterness. I had a cappuccino to take away with me, and it was hard to put a lid on that thing, because they even do the coffee art well here.

Their coffee is very good … worth the drive out towards the airport. Its not a place to chat with a friend though. Everyone had their nose in a newspaper and I felt awful taking a phone call… I’d go back during the nice weather and sit outside.

I get chills thinking about their amazing coffee. I never considered myself a coffee snob until I found the Roastery. We now only use Roastery beans at home. The«Espresso Blend» to be exact. Their lattes are amazing. Yea, they look pretty too, but that’s not what brings me back. The smooth, rich and creamy combo that they have perfected bring me back.(MMMMMMMMM there’s those chills again)

Was in town for only 3 days, came here twice. I am a serious coffee and espresso geek and the Roastery did not disappoint. The coffee they roast is brewed after it is aged for the number of days that is best for that blend/origin. I could care less about latte art(which they do well btw), I care about how the coffee and espresso tastes. And it was fantastic! The best macchiato I’ve ever had(and we were in Seattle before coming to Walla Walla). Also enjoyed talking with Mary(co-owner) and Doug(barista & roaster) about all things coffee. If you love coffee and espresso, you owe it to yourself to visit this place.

Try, try again. This seemingly very out of the way funky coffeehouse is actually well located, if you are wine tasting at the Walla Walla Airport-based wineries, but for us, it was the 5 star Unilocal reviews that got us in the car and driving across town. Very nice, very thoughtful and earnest staff. It’s got a relaxed, authentic vibe and you can tell they love their coffee here. Based on the glowing reviews, I can only imagine I must have been here on a bad day. My order here turned up a thin, somewhat soapy soy latte, minus the thick lovely soy crema that I love. Even us lactose free types enjoy a substantial thick warm latte with crema, maybe even fashioned into latte art. Unfortunately, the soupy latte I received had no crema(barely a bubble on its watery surface) and couldn’t hold a design, even if it wanted to. It was a letdown, especially considering such strong Unilocal fan support.

As a serious espresso afficionado, I was not expecting much from this little café in the middle of nowhere but as we were visiting several wineries that day and needed a pick-me-up we stopped by. Wow, were we ever wrong… This place takes their roasting very seriously and their end product shows. A perfect shot of espresso, from their beautiful Marzocco machine was absolutely delicious. The friendly staff enjoyed geeking out with us on roasting and brewing techniques. Super cute place with reasonable prices. We’ve tried the best in the country from Four Barrel, Blue Bottle, Caffe Vitta and others — this is simply the best we’ve ever had. They sell to many of the local restaurants and cafes and we tried it several other times, using different machines and the result was always a perfect shot. I called yesterday to order beans to be sent to my home.
