When I was on a specific diet I loved their gluten free pizza. Had calzones tonight though & the entire calzone just seemed to be filled with ricotta which my husband loved but I would have preferred a more even mix of mozz to ricotta.

Highly recommend! We called in for just pizza but after talking to Lauren on the phone we added jalapeño poppers. Glad we did. So good! Thank you Lauren! Delivery was even ahead of schedule.

We really like their pizza, but lately it has been impossible to order from them. So much background noise. Can hear every word being said over there, even on other calls, but then they claim they can’t hear me. I know there is nothing wrong with my phone, so perhaps if they didn’t have so many people trying to take orders so close to each other and didn’t blame the customers for their inability to hear clearly, it would be a better experience. Very disappointed. Was really in the mood for pizza tonight.

So I live even closer to here now and we order quite a bit. Love the pizza… my only gripe is not using fresh garlic on pizza. Last pie I got had meatball and it as sliterally covered every inch in sliced meatball. wonderful!!!
Delivery is fast and always friendly. Love amore!!!

Time for an update from my review 3 years ago.
I have been to some events where people had this pizza, and I was surprised that I really enjoyed it. I ordered it a few weeks ago for myself and found it to be much improved from my prior review (which was written after several poor experiences). While it is not my favorite pizza place in the area, it is in the top few places-​PLUS they are open days when others are not and they deliver. Oh, did I mention mashed potato and bacon (add onion too… ymmmmmm).

You’ve got to update, when updates are earned.
The owner offered me a free pizza via message, I didn’t accept and continued ordering from another local spot. Lately they’ve been meh, so I decided to call upon Amore today as they do, do a lot of fundraising for my Daughters school.
The phone call was friendly, and eager. My pizza arrived 15 minutes early even in subzero weather it was pipping hot, and it was absolutely delicious.
I may have to take him up on that free pizza after all because I’m seriously impressed with this time around compared to the last. We will be ordering again!

Very good New Haven style pizza in Wallingford. As good as the pizza is, the service is even better-​very courteous, fast delivery done with a smile.
Nice to see that customer service is not forgotten! I order for my office at least every couole of weeks, and am never disappointed. Try it!

Very crispy, thin and crunchy pizza! Maybe that’s why it’s called «apizza» in CT? Well, we asked the guy why it was called that and he had no clue.
Tiny spot where you just order, get your pizza, and eat it in the parking lot.

Love their Pizza! One of my first stop every time I return to Wallingford. Meatball/​pepperoni pizza with Foxon Park cream soda, can’t beat the combo! Always delicious!

Great pizza, wings, and grinders! They’re also open later than some pizza places in this area which is awesome!
My boyfriend loves the Italian Stallion pizza which has 3 meat toppings! So meat lovers I recommend this to you!

I believe this won a pizza contest in Wallingford… either best cheese pizza or best original pizza. Either way, this place makes a damn good pizza. They also carry Foxon Park sodas which not too many places around here carry.
I recommend sticking with the pizzas and grinders. The wings are crap and the salads are essentially entire heads of iceberg lettuce and a carrot.
This is also take out/​delivery only. They do not offer tables and chairs for full dining.

The best pizza take-​out or delivery place in town! The flavor is amazing! Me and my husband get a large cheese pizza and finish it ourselves in one sitting!
I crave their pizza– never had better!
