You get so much food for what you pay for! Yesterday I got a salad, and was able to eat it for lunch and dinner!

I could eat 5 Sante Fe Chicken Sandwiches til I explode !!! The food is always tasty and fresh. Service is great. Staff always looks professional in there Chef coats. Salads are amazing so many options to make a salad into that I pretty much load my salad up so that it defeats the point in having a salad. Great place enough parking. Wish I got there more often.

Best place to stop for lunch in Wallingford. I love their tossed salad options — they have pre-selected salads as well as a build your own option which I always go for. You grab the checklist and go to town adding as many veggies and toppings as you want. The best pet about this place is that there is no extra charge for what other places call ‘premium toppings’(avocado, grape leaves, etc). Only extra charge here is if you add protein and they give you tons of it so it’s worth the money. Always friendly faces in here and a wealth of options for other things as well(sandwiches, soups, drinks, organic stuff). I only wish they were open a bit later so I could come for dinner too!

I go to this café at least once a week. Although it’s a little pricey, all of the ingredients are fresh, tasty, and they don’t skimp out. Salad sizes are HUGE and are the best value. The salad toppings selection is also pretty good. The staff is always friendly and service is quick. They’re busy during the lunch hour for a reason! It’s a good find in Wallingford.

Great sandwiches. Roasted eye round of beef is my fav! The fresh ingredients and good bread is what really make the sandwiches so tasty. I will come back. My lunch buddies also like enjoy B Muse. They usually get the salads which I hear very positive feedback from them. They are usually taking ½ of it home for dinner or snack! The San Pellegrino was a bit expensive…

Excellent selection of fresh salads, wraps and soups, even sweets made in house from scratch. Plenty of vegetarian options and a few vegan… No mention of organic? I have tried a wrap, two different salads and a soup and they were all wonderful. Pricing is very reasonable too. Not much of a meat eater and the little planks of dead chicken piled on the cold make table would not be appetizing if I did. Still five stars because the gross factor is irrelevant if I don’t eat it…

To be perfectly honest, I used to hate salad, and in many cases, I still do. When I think of salad, I think of bland, gross Iceberg lettuce(one of the banes of my existence except maybe on a burger), some veggies thrown in more for nutritional value than taste, and some cheese/dressing globbed on to cancel out the weeping of my taste buds. The Stop and Shop salad bars did a heroic job of making salads a bit more palatable, but alas, those are growing more and more scarce. B Muse, like the miracle workers they are, changed all this for me. My mom introduced me to the ambrosial vegetation concoctions they craft at B Muse about a year or two ago, and I can’t help but salivate like Pavlov’s dog just thinking about them. I love how one can just walk in and check off their salad makings on a sheet, kind of like at all-you-can-eat sushi buffets, so that no one has to settle for anything less than what they love. The veggies are always fresh and crisp(even toward closing time) and the staff is always friendly, thorough, making sure that every salad is wonderful. Mind you, these salads aren’t skimpy either and are good for at least 2 meals(or one really huge one, for those with voracious appetites). They also have drinks and other healthy sides available like soups, parfaits, etc. The only downside that comes to mind is that they do tend to close a bit early at least on weekdays, but it’s definitely worth the trip and every cent!

Great place for lunch for a salad with as many toppings as you want for no extra charge. Meat is a couple bucks extra, for $ 10 you can’t go wrong. Everything is fresh every time I stop in

I can’t help it if you think it is nuts for loving salad so much– I just honestly do. I could eat a crunchy salad for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I actually have days where I CRAVE salad! It’s ok– call me nuts. So-to find a place where I can check off a list for someone to assemble before my eyes a glorious container full of quality, not-your-local-grocery-store-salad-bar fresh fixin’s to my heart’s content? F#%k yeah, I’m there. No wait, everyone-it’s, uh, closed. Yeah, chomp chomp chomp. Unilocalers are reporting this location closed. Because I ate all the goods.

What’s that you say? Salad isn’t a meal? I beg to differ, oh reader mine. I work close to B Muse and have heard many good things about its salads from some co-workers who frequent the shop. One day not long ago I decided to hop on the salad train and give this place a whirl. So begins my strange and bewildering(if not bemusing) journey into leafy green goodness. A salad train, by the way, runs on eco-friendly solar power coupled with the magnetically gathered positive energy of people who run«tough mudders», cross-fit enthusiasts and people who drive hybrid cars. I’ve been to B Muse several times in the past two months or so. On my first visit I ordered a Caesar Salad. What I received was not a Caesar Salad. This is an honest mistake, and not something I was upset over. Since I was already back to work by the time I opened the box, I ate what I had received which I could only describe as the best salad I’ve ever had. A bed of baby greens tossed with red onion, kalamata olives and stuffed grape leaves. The dressing was tangy, savory and had earthy tones which I found to be a wonderful contrast to I’m what I’m used to in a salad dressing. I knew what I had eaten was not a Caesar salad, but now I had to find out what it actually was. Over the next handful of visits I tried to duplicate this salad, but for one reason or another, I was not successful in doing so. Ordering a salad at B Muse goes like this: You take a checklist which has every salad ingredient listed on it. Check off the ingredients you want in your salad, write your name at the top, and wait. If you want your salad to consist of six hard boiled eggs and three croutons, you are more than welcome to do so. Using this ordering system, I made every effort to replicate the salad I received on my first visit. But each time I fell short. A different dressing, missing ingredients, wrong salad blend. I just couldn’t find the right combo. Then, one fateful day, I was putting together my combination of ingredients and noticed there was another menu with actual, named salads. I read through and found it. The Classic Greek Salad. That’s the one I had on my first visit! Feeling ashamed I had never noticed this menu before yet elated that I had finally found my mystery salad, I placed my order. I’ve gone back many times and always gravitate back to the Classic Greek salad. It’s just that good. Of course, you can get whatever you want. Seriously you get like 12 unpitted Kalamata olives, goat cheese, nineteen raisins and a side of French dressing. They wouldn’t even bat an eye. Don’t like salads? Not a problem. B Muse offers a host of sandwich options along with cookies and other dessert type items. They also have a diverse selection of juices and softdrinks for those pesky«I’m on my lunch-break and probably shouldn’t drink a beer before I go back to work» days.

Partner comes here for lunch often as he works nearby and raves. Came here today for the first time with him and I can see why. For under $ 10, I got a massive salad. I love that u can pick and mix the greens u want, and just check off your choices … I did chicken, bacon, egg, bleu cheese, avocado, tomato, cuke, croutons and more . Awesome … only thing I might have liked was the option for warm chicken, but what I got was delicious … I can see why my partner loves it here. Staff very warm and friendly too … this place is a winner. and when a wholesome salad can be this good and reasonably priced, theres just no excuse for a McDs or BK or junk chain crap(which isn’t any cheaper anyway!)!

If you’re looking for an excellent salad, made to order, with all of the ingredients you want, then this is the place to go! The concept at B Muse if very simple, yet effective. They are essentially a Soup, Salad, and Sandwich Café with a few other menu items occasionally. If you are interested in creating your own salad, they have a checklist you fill out with everything you want. All ingredients except proteins are included in the price. $ 6.95 is the price for a standard salad with $ 2.95 — $ 3.95 additional if you want a protein(hard boiled eggs are free). Some have said that’s too much money for a salad. For the size of the salad, amount of ingredients, and quality of the ingredients, I think it’s well worth it. Most people can get two meals out of one salad. I’ve also had a couple sandwiches here, which I think are good as well, but the salads are what keeps me coming back. Definitely worth a try!

Really good salads, fresh ingredients and delicious dressings. Only reason Im giving 4 and not 5 stars is because of the hours. I only got to try it because i didnt work one saturday. Wont happen again for a while so therefore I wont get to have this again for that long either. Wish they were open for dinner or sundays…

On a strip full of fast food, it’s so refreshing to find a place with healthy options! They have salads, soups, sandwiches and quiche. Where I live in NYC, we have tons of similar places and it’s about time they had something of the sort in the CT area! All of their salads are made to order, so they put whatever you want in(woo hoo, I don’t have to waste time picking out the stuff I don’t like!). They have a menu where you can check which items you want and then they’ll make it up for you. My only gripe was that they placed the sheet of paper I filled out directly onto my salad in the closed box– pretty gross considering that same pad has been in all random people’s hands/on the counter exposed to who knows what– nastiness and an infection waiting to happen! They also have a menu of salads that have different ingredients that aren’t listed on the check boxes(burrata etc) for the create your own salad menu that looked delicious. All of the ingredients were very fresh and my salad was delicious!
